heavy armor is much more useful with the penetration fix, i can actually tank stamblades now without surprise attack cutting half my health if i drop block... being able to taunt and tank mobs in IC is also very helpful for saving your more fragile allies

@xylena i cAN tell you this much, not using Sharpened Maces at this point is terrible. I did a Wrecking Blow as a Stam Sorc with 3k Weapon Dmg (the max I can have with this v16 premade crap) and hit another sorc for 5.9k crit. I don't know if they had a shield up or not, but that damage was so paltry I wanted to altf4. I think I was using an Infused Maul, I had the heavy weapons passive and about 30 points into pierce. Damage sucked bad.
Btw, another very interesting change that was in the patchnotes.
Shadow Cloak no longer has this bug that makes you immune to single target attacks even though you're detected ? Anyone can confirm this in game ?

Shadow Cloak never made you immune to single target attacks. People (NBs) were complaining that Shadow Cloak was not working against Charge (all forms) and single target abilities. This is something that was not supposed to happened according to Eric Wrobel. You have it backwards. The patch notes addressed this (go read them) that NBs will now be affected only by those who have the detect pot active with those types of attacks.

Try hitting a nightblade with singletarget magica ranged attacks on the live server. Cloak makes those attacks a forced miss bc they are somehow considered debuffs by the gameengine.

The situation we are describing that should be fixed is when there is NOT a detect pot active. Cloaking should drop all incoming single target attacks/effects on a non-detected NB, no exceptions. Except some were still going through...

Some attacks miss on nightblades who are cloaked even on live (noticed this when using detectpots on my sorcerer) CF, light attacks, crushing shock miss (They play the animation but the hit never does damage) unless you curse them out of cloak/streak through them
This wasn't the case with ALL skills tough
