    And don't forget that in the current game, a lot of VR12 gear is still viable because it uses the same glyphs as VR14 gear. But VR16 is not one, but two, enchantment potency tiers above VR14. So even if the set bonuses of an old VR14 set look nice, you will be losing a lot by being stuck with third rate enchantments on those VR14 items.

    It is about opportunity cost. Is there more diversity in Update 7? Yes, but they missed the opportunity to make a big increase in build diversity with minimal effort, by just adding a few less armor sets and a few more jewelry sets.

    Especially with the inability to craft jewelry! Players are up to their eyeballs in armor, both crafted and dropped. But there is a very limited amount of jewelry.

    That's so disappointing.

    Please fix traits. Please, it would be a huge, positive and very pleasant quality of life change.

    Training from gathering so many trophy items is tragic, why do they make it so difficult for us to get a sense of reward and accomplishment for getting cool gear with terrible traits. It's senseless and not player friendly at all.

    Just get rid of Sturdy all together and buff durability across the board.
    Make Training all kinds of XP and change Yellow to 3.5%.
    Add pen to Nirnhoned and Reinforced. Change Reinforced to only physical damage or say just say physical damage for the tooltip and use Nirnhoned scaling.
    Add Critical Damage to Impenetrable.
    Put Movement Speed with Well-Fitted.
    Scale Infused % back to inline with the same % value that Nirnhoned is but let it affect all armor pieces.
    Add a trait like Divines but with % boost of Nirnhoned for increasing accessory glyphs effectiveness.
    Last new trait make it so that it adds a boost to the set piece effectiveness of that item. Max yellow out at 3% and cap it at 15% per set to stop people having 7/5. Sure as hell don't need to come up against someone with 21% boost to their Whitestrakes. This doesn't affect duration, chance of proc, range, reduce cooldown. Just the 2,3,4 set bonus and for 5th only regen, health, mag, stam, weapon and spell damage, speed, healing, by now you should get my drift of what it shouldn't boost.

    Merge Charged and Powered.
    Add new trait, use Amethyst, that increases healing done and received 6/12%
    Increase Defending to 9/18%
    Increase Precise to 7/14%
    Increase Weighted to 7.5/15%
    Now it's fixed(tm) Increase Sharpened to 9/18% to be inline with Defending and Nirnhoned.
    Training as per armor. 3.5/7%

    Some variety in gear choice would be welcome. Adding more variables would bring out some different builds. Would make the grind less boring as you are always trying to get new builds to counter the new FOM.
    This recent update has made me sad. Sad for the game. Sad for the community. Sad to pay whatever it is now. I want the previous eso back.

    lets all face it the idea of a vault is pretty cool, the only let down is the gear is random. You know its a vault right? Items should be hanging or sitting around the room for players to pick up. Yes player choice should matter. when you obtain the randomly dropped number of items to enter a vault you should have 1 choice to pick up whatever you want, All the appropriate items should be viewable in the vault. The chest well, it should hold gold nothing else. I really feel if players are going to grind random stuff to open a vault the player has earned the right to choose what they want.

    And on a side note, BLUE item in a vault what, seriously, was the emperor a hoarder of crap? All items should be gold! Its the Emperors Vault......

    Why put a training trait on a piece of vr16 gear? Please, start playing your game or let someone else handle these tasks. A year after release and traits are still garbage on dropped sets.

    Dropped sets at max level should only come in impenetrable, nirnhoned, reinforced/defending, infused, divines, precise and sharpened. I'm not sure anyone uses powered or charged but the aforementioned traits are a good start. Max level characters have absolutely no use for training, well fitted or sturdy traits. The fact that they are still dropping with those traits shows an air of negligence to what the gamers want to see.

    Imagine: You took so long to collect 60 randomly dropped items to finally open a treasure room and get disappointed like hell. Im already scared to open it, because the chance is high to be disappointed, and im sure im not alone with that, this Thread has proven that.
    Please make those efforts feel rewarding (we are talking about a big big treasure room full with invaluable items!).

    Since this treasure room will rarely be opened, this is how it should actually look like:
    - Rare Set Items on Players Level/ VR (ONLY with Divines, impenetrable, Reinforced, Infused, Sharpened, Defending)
    - Random Amount of Gold (between 750 - 4500 gold)
    - Random Amount of Upgrade Materials (2 - 3 Upgrade Materials,ONLY Purple/Gold)
    - Random Amount of Materials needed for VR 16 gear (5-20 items of random types,)
    - 10% Chance to get a Glyph with the new Enchantment which is added with Imperial City
    - 10% Chance to get the new Runes which are added with Imperial City
    - 10% Chance for a Nirnhoned Armour Piece/ Weapon
    - 10% Chance for a Nirnhoned material
    - 10% Chance for a Glass Style Page or Xyvkin Style Page
    - 10% Chance for a new, Imperialcity excklusive Costume

    Not having opened one yet, I can't say for sure but my guess is Treasure Vaults need more cowbell!

    The suggestions in the post above by andypapp16_ESO would be a great place to start.

    Seriously, this is pathetic. Training on end game gear?? Exploration??
    And people who decide that its good to put such useless trait on VR16 gear are deciding on unjustified nerfs like "0 stamina regen while blocking".
    Agree with @Lionxoft ZOS should start playing their game, and maybe they should play all of the roles/classes in game, not just DPSes because some of the changes they make to game, look like if they never played any other class than DPS.

    Agree with @Lionxoft ZOS should start playing their game, and maybe they should play all of the roles/classes in game, not just DPSes because some of the changes they make to game, look like if they never played any other class than DPS.

    From memory they have changed traits to be RNG on weapons.

    From 1.7 onwards set items won't have predetermined traits anymore.

    Though I don't think anyone would complain if training and exploration were removed from the RNG for VR14+

    All Items from V10 and above should have no traits at all so we should use a blacksmith.Clothier & Woodworker to ADD our own traits to them or give us an ability to remove and add or own.

    If you insist on this random trait crap, at least remove training, exploration, sturdy and impenetrable (armor) respectively training, charged and powered (weapons) from the list.

    Stop that forced grind.

    I do like the idea of being able to add or remove traits with a high enough craft skill and the right items.

    Anyone who knows, knows that ZOS don't play their game or end game like most players do. Watching them is like watching a bunch of handicapped rabbits organise a bbq.

    Something like the suggestion by @andypappb16_ESO should be done for Treasure Vaults, but they should also be time locked for individual players, so they cannot be over farmed. Maybe a 20hr time lock or maybe more. Also agree with blacksmith retraiting would be a nice feature.
