    Glad to hear that this is STILL an issue....

    I started to play this morning (around 7 EST) and things appeared fine. Tried to exit a quest via portal back into Stormwood and got booted.

    This is ridiculous.

    Sunday Morning in Houston.. and I see we are no further along in this issue than when it started Friday evening!!!!

    I am appalled that ZOS would treat their customers like this and take No action in trying to resolve the issue.

    I have submitted tickets, posted in forums for help same as others, yet WE the customer are totally ignored!!!!


    I was just on another online game - no issues what-so-ever ... proving it isnt my XB1 or Microsoft or my internet!!!!!

    ZOS - it is past time that this issue is addressed before you tank the game!!!

    You know -- They want us to do all this troubleshooting from Our end.. reboot router, consoles etc...... We all have. We al have been playing other online game without an issue..... So Why doesnt ZOS do the same on their end???? It doesnt take long to reboot a server and be sure all services load properly. But then too this problem didnt start until their hotfix on 8-/5 maybe fix corrupted things??? But then again - adding patches, doing maintenance while server is online, ppl online is never a wise idea.

    Going on day 3 of no play time this weekend......

    It does appear that this entire weekend is lost at this point, I have accepted defeat after hours and hours of clicking login and reading every post about the subject. I am extremely disappointed in whoever hires these incompetent ZOS employees as they can at least do like every other company and post status updates.

    You can start by creating one thread so users have an easier time tracking the issue without browsing this entire forum.



    Example:

    8/7/2015

    2200 - We are aware of said issues at this time. Our team is looking into the matter, will update you guys by midnight EST.

    8/8/2015

    0100 - We are currently looking into the issues, cannot provide ETA at this time, WILL GIVE AN UPDATE NO LATER THAN 0300 EST.

    0300 - Guys are team is working hard through the night on this one it appears its going to take more time than anticipated. I suggest getting sleep as we may be looking at extending this out further. Next update time 1100 EST.

    1100 - Still troubleshooting some things, will update at 1400 EST.

    1400 - Another round of coffee down and we are still at it, some progress but still work to be done. Will update at 1800 EST.




    Ok you get the idea here. This not only builds a relationship with your customers but its just the professional thing to do. Like I said, I am extremely disappointed in what I have seen thus far.

    ZOS if you plan to profit in this game industry you will need to step your game up.

    After rereading the above, my last sentence made me laugh as I had a vision of a ZOS team drinking coffee laughing over the "If you plan to profit" after the way they pulled subscription money from PC users for a year with no content.

    A ZOS member stated that they are working on this issue on the PS4 thread, where the NA server is having the same issue.

    They confirmed that it is not a Microsoft or Sony issue, and that they are looking into the issues.

    Would be nice if we got the same treatment over here, since I imagine a lot of you didn't consider checking the PS4 support forums, but I'll just put this here:

If you haven't already, please try completely turning your console off (basically doing a hard reboot); this has helped some players. Otherwise, we are continuing to investigate. Thanks for your patience, and if you haven't already, please reach out to Customer Support so they can actively troubleshoot with you.
    Guys, we know you're frustrated, but we ask that you please work with CS to go through all the troubleshooting steps. Even if it doesn't immediately fix the problem, it's still helping us narrow down where the issue ultimately lies. Also keep in mind they may have a lot of tickets to go through, so the response may not be immediate.

    Understood, and we also confirmed that the issue doesn't lie with Sony or Microsoft's services. Only thing we can tell you at the moment is we're continuing to investigate. We'll let everyone know when we have a solution.

However, they have a decent sized base of players who subscribed on PC long before ESOTU (no subscription required) came out. Most of these players still pay for ESO Plus. They figure that they've already got most of their money out of the console players and many of us will be moving on to different games when the Fall releases come out. So, they are focusing all their time on the PTS which, if you check the PC/MAC forums, you'll see is full of issues also. They don't care about us, and they won't be fixing the server. We'll be lucky if it's fixed on Tuesday/Wednesday.

    Stop fricking telling me I dont have a valid internet connection!!!!!!!!!!
    I can play Destiny, Neverwinter with no problem, hell Im on my PC writing this I have internet connection!!!!!

    I just had my V7 char online - was able to fast travel, now I cant log in a lowbie?????

    ZOS its time you PROFESSIONALLY address this issue and Take care of your Customers!!!!!!!

    ESO+ = cancelled
    ESOTU = Traded in

    I also wouldn't get your hopes up that the "maintenance" will fix it, since it is obvious that they have no idea what is going on. Real shame too, I had zero issues since a week after launch. It's been real.

    Their files are corrupted somewhere -- instead of shutting the server down, Letting us know that they will shut it down and repair the files and services, they just ignore us!!!

    This would not have made it this far on Console if not for us XB1 and PS4 players!!!!!

    They skipped maintenance for consoles last week and did only for pc/Mac maintenance, when they did, crashes appeared more frequent and this happened.

Had someone reached out Friday and said hey there's a problem I would be upset, but moved on to something else.

    First off I love how they consolidate the threads to this one that has NO answers. Second their switch to EU then back to NA server fix works(but only for a very short time) I had the bad luck to get in do a solo quest and now whenever I try to finish it or get out of it I get kicked back to title screen... Games do have issues, just the nature of the beast... But ESO has perhaps the worst communication between the trouble shooters and the customer.. When you contact CS you get a generic email and no response.. When you post in here they say "contact CS".. My only pet peeve with this game is that lack of communication, and it makes me just consider uninstalling it and just accepting the $100 + as a loss.

    I'll be stuck in a area grinding with lvl 20 monster's even if I make it on the game. This sucks!!! I am honestly close to the point of leaving this game.

    A lot of good games coming out soon.

    I've been here before. Its like a minefield. I can't hit a load screen, travel, enjoy the game, progress, play PVP, Play Dungeons, play with friend's, and play VS enemies that are my level.

    Guess farming low lvl stuff for materials lol!!! This is bad.

    Hey, folks. Can you try two things for us?
    Log in to the opposite server (either EU or NA), then log back into your proper server.
    Turn your console totally off for 5 minutes, then turn it back on.

    I believe the issue is with one (or more) of the NA servers or cluster of servers. As someone that works in tech, I have to assume that ESO is using a load balancer to evenly distribute the traffic (or population) of each server. So every time that load balancer points to the down or distressed server(s) it is causing a disconnect. That would explain why some people can get in and some cannot or if you keep trying eventually you get in. It would also explain why people are being booted when trying to go to a wayshrine or when entering and/or exiting a dungeon or pvp (because that load screen that pops up only does so when you are being redirected to another server).

    There are a few different options available to correct the issue. All of which would only take a couple hours (assuming there wasn't actual physical hardware damage) to fix. Unfortunately, I bet these guys don't work on the weekends.
