I totally agree! If it's just a boss you have to tank then it's fine you can antisipate his attacks, but during most fights the tank is also being bombarded by additional mobs. letting go of your block for to long can get you killed real fast, but if you don't you run out of stamina and you can't pull any of the mobs anymore.0% Stamina Recovery while blocking is just way to harsh.
PVE is gonna be hardmode with this!! Especially for casuals
You can sneak past them all. The two-pip "mini bosses" or "group bosses" are all in side passages, while the three-pip Xivkyn "champion bosses" are all mobile, so you just have to wait for them to go past. Not sure if this is already the case, but the bosses in the Imperial City sewers are rather tough. On my first encounter it took about 10 players to take down 1 boss. I think you should at all times be able to sneak past these bosses. Otherwise it's not going to be viable to explore the sewers on your own.
It was very weird to me that I ported into the IC from Daggerfall but returned to Wayrest.Merlin13KAGL wrote: »If you ported in from Auridon, put back in Auridon.
- Make exiting the PvE dungeons restore you back to the place where you entered, same as every other dungeon.

No. It wasn't at all clear in-game how to start the content. The Tutorial information is good, but only if you know to look for it. I would suggest an in-game mail that is received once per character when the Imperial City is first unlocked in Collectibles, in the same vein as the Level 10 "Cyrodiil Awaits!" message and the Level 45 "Undaunted Enclave Invitation". The message only needs to say that you should talk to the Captain in Cyrodiil, like the Tutorial text does, but having it as a mail message as well should make the directions clearer to new players.ZOS_GinaBruno wrote: »FEEDBACK WANTED
Imperial City
- Did you understand how to get to Imperial City, and how the new systems worked?
Again, only if you read the Tutorial text. The sewer exit should have a map marker labelled "Cyrodiil" so you know where it is. I would also like to see the option to "go through" the door to the Lake Rumare shoreline rather than port back to base, and an additional option to leave the Campaign completely.
- Was it clear how to leave Imperial City?
A bit of lag, but the major crashing issue that I had was fixed by the suggested change to the UserSettings file.
- How was the overall performance throughout Imperial City?
37 in 3 hours, all lost. Although I was specifically avoiding most combat because I don't have an efficient build.
- How many Tel Var Stones did you get during your testing? Please specify how long you played.
None.
- How many Alliance Points did you get while you tested?
N/A.
- If you played through the Imperial City Prison or White-Gold Tower, how did the balance feel between the normal and Veteran versions? What level was your character?

- Were you aware that there was a risk of losing Stones, and how it could happen?

Imperial City
- Did you understand how to get to Imperial City, and how the new systems worked?
- I did, BUT - I just went to Cyro, shrined to Chalman, and headed over, because I was comfortable in Cyro. I forgot that the patch notes said there was a quest to pick up at the gate, so I didn't pick it up, which meant that I then couldn't get a single quest in IC once I was there. It was an easy remedy - go back to the gate and pick up the quest - but it'd be nice if there was an option to pick up the quest once in the base - like if the General could just say "Oh! Maybe you can help!" or something.
- Was it clear how to leave Imperial City?
- I looked around in vain for an option to transitus out
, but yes, it was clear that I needed to leave the same way I came in.
- How was the overall performance throughout Imperial City?
- My performance has been pretty good. The first day my ping was in the thousands, but it's settled back down to normal. I've had very few crashes - maybe 3? All up top, no crashes in the sewers, ever - something that everyone else in my group has experienced, as well.
- How many Tel Var Stones did you get during your testing? Please specify how long you played.
- I think I've got about 2500-3000. Played probably 5-6 hours Tuesday-Friday, but was not careful about banking or trying to keep them.
- How many Alliance Points did you get while you tested?
- I think about 20k? I'd have to double check, but it's somewhere close to that.
- If you played through the Imperial City Prison or White-Gold Tower, how did the balance feel between the normal and Veteran versions? What level was your character?
- My friend and I decided to check WGT out while waiting for the rest of our group, and I can tell you that if you accidentally go in as a duo on Vet, it is ridiculously hard.
We were both V15.
Tel Var Stones
- Was it clear when you gained Tel Var Stones?
- Very.
- Was it clear when the multiplier increased?
- Yep.
- Were you aware that there was a risk of losing Stones, and how it could happen?
- Yep.
- Did you see the accumulation of Stones while you played?
- Yep.
- What was your main method of acquiring Tel Var Stones?
- Mix of PVP and PVE. One day we focused on finding fights, one day we focused on PVE, and the rest of the time we just floated between PVP and PVE. Once we realized that no one was crashing in the sewers, tho (on Friday), we spent most of our time PVE.
Itemization
- What is your favorite new item or item sets? Where did you receive them?
- A couple of the BoP sets look interesting, but I don't have any of them. I wasn't really that impressed with the sets we can buy from the TV merchants.
- Are you happy with the stats on the new items or item sets?
- Not really. I don't love the weap/spell dmg decrease, and I don't feel like the V16 stats on anything are enough of a difference to make me want to focus on farming mats to craft the ones I can craft, or to grind to get the ones I can't.
- Did you feel the drop rate was adequate?
- No. Even in advanced chests we found, we would get just a white V16 and some TV stones. We were getting V15/V16 random drops from mobs, but ofc then we have the very low chance to decon for one mat, so it all felt very dissatisfying.
- Did you find you could get VR15 gear easily? Was gaining VR16 gear more challenging?
- I do think it was pretty easy to get 1k TV stones and then be able to purchase V15 stuff, yes, but I didn't actually want any of it.
- Were the new items or item sets worth the effort?
- I won't know til I test them!
Achievements
- Did you receive any new achievements while going through Veteran dungeons, Imperial City, or killing bosses?
- I did get the quest achievement that was dropped down to 1k quests, and I know I got a few others, I just don't remember what they were.
fix the crashing coz alot of us cant test anything because of it
you broke templar and DK shields by nerfing all shields when sorc shields were the problem not the others...
now sorcs can tank 5 people without even trying because of how big their shields still are and you dont have the dmg or crit to take out the shields.
thats all i could get from the hour of combined play over the last 2 days because of crashing
I only went once into Cyrodil with my V8, however after begin killed (quite swiftly I might add) several times without being able to dent the opponent I gave up. It seems PvP in Cyrodil requires one to be V14, so I wonder how all the lower veteran ranked will be able to enter the entrance of IC - which I fully expect to be under attack of the other fractions.

But I cannot with 2 of the 3 characters I play with since they are in different alliances.
Can you please remove the Alliance Restrictions from the PTS and Live for 2.1 so we can actually play the characters we have literally spend months on according to /play.
Thank you.

I'm reminded in this era of CP being the be all and end all- skill does come into the equation at times. I take my V3 and V5 in regularly, and have very good results. In small groups with my guild mates (groups of 2-7) and in larger groups as we find them. Unlike what the script seems to indicate these days, you can be impactful and can have fun in Cyrodiil. Will you get killed at times? Sure! But crouching helps more than it may seem. As does not being in a hurry so that you mount up all the time. In fact, in many cases, by waiting in crouch and watching my guild mates mount up, I've gotten a *lot* of kills from using them as "bait". And of course, not riding over bridges in plain sight.

Good to hear it is possible to have fun on the lower veteran ranks. It could very well be that I stumbled uppon someone who had too many advantages (skills, VR-rank, PvP-abilities, equipment, CP) over me. Dieing now and then is no problem, however I do need the feeling I at least have a chance and can be meaningful.
