I don't like that your forcing me into PVP . I don't care for PvP . Case and point , Checking things out and decided to go into Lambent passage. AS SOOn as i walked thru the door , there were at least 6 players from a different faction killing everyone that came thru the door . Its in every game i ever played . I don't care for PvP .I have quit games that made me PvP . As much as i like this game , i am not beyond throwing you the finger and taking my money else where.

Chances are they will go with a system where 1 alliance controls IC at a time by. So when your side has access and has cleared the enemy out it should be safe for the most part but you will still have to watch your back.

Your not forced to go to the IC and PVP. But they have been clear since the beginning that this is a mixed PVP and PVE game and if you want everything and to be as strong as possible you will have to do both. If you cant do that this probably isn't the game for you.

Oh Yeah, I completely forgot that IC is only accessible to EMP alliance once on Live.

Then that is just SO BORING!

IC in PTS last night was the BEST PVP experience I had. It felt like an Arena PVP. Fast paced and intense. Goodbye horse simulator.

Too bad IC was not meant to be played like this.

Armed with the skills and the scars they have endured during their captivity, these brothers and sisters in chains has vowed revenge on their Argonian captors and their allies.

100% lose of stones was my most frustrating experience so far.

I would get to about 400 tv stones and get group ganked by an opposing faction (did not make a difference of being grouped myself, they just focused one at a time).

As far as the city itself. It is nice. The environment was epic, with battles happening. The scope and size of Imperial City is about what I expected, but it is very small for a DLC that is suppose to keep us entertained for a whole quarter. As a Pve and PvP player I do net see enough in this DLC that warranted 2 vet levels.

Player ganking/griefing, lack of fun repeatable content, and difficulty to obtain items needed for crafting are some of my concerns that will cause this DLC to not be enticing enough for many to bother purchasing.

      Agree.

I had a great time last night. got around 600 stones banked.
Tonight though, I ran around for about an hour in the sewers because I didn't want to mess with a lot of players. Gathered about 250 stones, then a red zerg came in to a cramped area. Got smoked in about 10 seconds flat losing 100%.

After that I lost all interest in going back in.

Logged out and went back to were the fun is...Blackwater Blade.

I wont buy IC if it stays at 100% loss. Its just not fun. I don't mind getting killed. I don't mind losing a little bit of what i made. Like when you die to an NPC and lose 10%...that's fine. But, 100%...nope. Its just not fun.

Here are the questions I felt relevant enough to answer:

How many Tel Var Stones did you get during your testing? Please specify how long you played.
I played for a few hours last night & around 5 or so hours today. - 3k tel var stones

How many Alliance Points did you get while you tested?
No idea, didn't even notice an AP indicator

If you played through the Imperial City Prison or White-Gold Tower, how did the balance feel between the normal and Veteran versions? What level was your character?
v15 Nightblade, I could "almost" solo the Non-veteran content in white gold tower, however I would say the non-vet & vet is perfect where it's at. Vet is VERY challenging just the way it needs to be! And non-vet was easy enough to get players in the mix of doing the dungeon & having a fun new experience.

      Tel Var Stones
Was it clear when you gained Tel Var Stones? - Not very

Was it clear when the multiplier increased?
I think the indicator would disappear at times

Were you aware that there was a risk of losing Stones, and how it could happen?
      Eventually, not at first

Did you see the accumulation of Stones while you played?
No , it's difficult to look in your bag while fighting; maybe an addon will put the count on screen.

What was your main method of acquiring Tel Var Stones?
PVP Killing other players & the large named bosses

      Itemization
What is your favorite new item or item sets? Where did you receive them?
None yet as the time it takes to acquire a full set will not be before end of PTS testing time period. These "new" sets should have been provided in the template bags ALONGSIDE the already provided gear.

Are you happy with the stats on the new items or item sets?
Not entirely, while some seem interesting, many were too restricting to actually be useful (when activating a support or assault ability is not worth me losing more spell dmg)

Did you feel the drop rate was adequate?
It seemed OK although I haven't yet received much loot.

Did you find you could get VR15 gear easily? Was gaining VR16 gear more challenging?
v15 was not completely easy, v16 very challenging, but I'm not saying anything needs to change; I'm not sure

Were the new items or item sets worth the effort?
That remains to be determined as we are unable to test the new items, but at first glance, I don't think they will be worth it except for 1 or 2 very very specific builds.

Itemisation on the sets you buy with TV stones badly needs to be looked at. Those sets are just not desirable right now.

Look at the 5 set bonus for instance on the assault line and now look at the bonus on hundings rage set.Why would I ever take a 110 point weapon dmg buff for 15 seconds over a permanent 299 point buff? This is not well thought out at all. And limiting it to 4 players? Pointless set.

Some feed back I wanna summit.

The Volatile armor morph of the DK skill Spiked armor. Please keep it physical based damage instead of magical based how you have it in the PTS.

Make some changes to heavy armor to fit better into pvp. My suggestion change the passives to scale off per piece of armor such as it's current passive juggernaunt. Make each piece worth 5% and add in passives that reduce break free and the effect of snares such as caltrops or frost attacks.

Also make each piece scale with MA and LA armor to allow more hybrid builds would allow say a LA user to have some defense while still having the offense. Such as they can wear heavy gauntlets and boots for a 10% boost to health, armor and spell res, break free, and snare while also having that 25% spell boost for attacks.

Wrecking blow needs something done to it so it isn't spammable.

Momentum and it's morphs need to only be applied to the 2H when you have it equip and when you swap weapons the effect should end and the damage bonus should not applie tot he swapped weapon.

I was really sorta iffy about IC, but I've largely really enjoyed myself on PTS. It feel's like being back to the first day I started playing the game and discovering everything new has been enjoyable. That said I can see a few problems cropping up within the test launches first few hours, some issues a large amount of people have been discussing but I'd like to expand on them:

-100% take away of Tel Var Stones when killed by enemy players
A'ight, I get it. It's PVP stuff here's a reward for stabby stabbin' someone in the face. Cool beans. But a 100% take away is quite high and based on previous descriptions of the system I was under the impression only very rarely would such a large amount be removed from you. I am not inherently against the system, but I feel like some balance needs to be done. Particularly since PVP and PVE build's are so drastically different. That doesn't mean PVPer's build's need to be changed or anything like that, just that the handicap for PVEers ought to be realistically addressed. The zone was described as largely 'half and half' but I am finding that to be untrue and see a balance issue with rewarding strict PVP content over PVEer's when the content was proclaimed to be 'even'.

-Enemy group's inhibiting entry to the IC
I personally seem to have been lucky in that I made it into the city without problems, likely because I was on during a 'off' time for other players. I didn't even encounter enemy faction until an hour or so into my game play. But that shouldn't be the only reason a player is able to access the content; by luck alone and having to slip in when people aren't online. Having a single entrance for each faction is unreasonable and will, or rather HAS, lead to large groups of enemy faction's essentially preventing players from accessing the new zone. Considering this DLC will cost a $25 I think it's prudent to address the issue of your players not being able to even access this content. People are going to be hard pressed to want to drop $25 when it goes live if they weren't even able to access the zone on the PTS. I think this can be remedied if you provide more entry points in 'safe' (safer, rather) territories. Such as sewer grate placed in the general area closer to the entry area for each faction, for example:
      fekL1kU.jpg

-Cost of content(and loss of content from lapse of subscription)
I am 100% okay with paying for DLC content. I purchased all the DLC content for Skyrim over the years and I understand the value of such additional...stuff and things. But I think it's important to consider the $25 price tag for a single new zone is kinda gettin' up there in terms of price. The game itself is $60, and for a single new DLC to cost just shy of half of the entire game's price is a bit...much?And that's not even touching on that a horse skin cost's the same amount as DLC content >__> It isn't that I am, or the majority of others, are asking for free content to that extent, but a lot of us feel that the cost of said content could be reconsidered. Are we to expect another $25 for Murkmire and Orsinium respectively? Will that be the regular going price for all future DLC content?

On to the second bit in this point; I find no problems with subscribed members receiving this content with their regular subscription, it's that the content itself is taken away should the subscription lapse. I understand that the idea is so a user does not subscribe for one month and then cancel; effectively getting the DLC for half-price (a tad over half, rather) and I am aware that the rewards and various items acquired from the DLC is not taken from subscribers if they lapse for whatever reason. But someone who is subscribed for 6 months, then cancels has paid the cost of this DLC several times over during that 6 month subscription. Perhaps it would be prudent to take that into consideration when this decision is made? Such as allowing the user to maintain their DLC content for a subscription that extends two months (or longer)?

@kaithuzar The Tel Var meter in the bottom right shows current number of TV stones as well as the multiplier.

I would definitely agree however that accumulation of TV stones is not clear. Since you don't actively "loot" them, you don't really know how many you're getting each time.

I think it would be a good idea to link the "Dedicated Feedback Threads" in the OP of this thread, and also sticky them to the top of the PTS forum directly. They keep getting lost amongst the other threads.

We have a lot of new systems going into our latest update, so we wanted to provide some suggestions on where to focus your testing, and some specific feedback we’re looking to gather that would help us the most. To aid in testing, we’ve provided VR16 and mid-level character templates for each alliance. In addition, we’ve copied all PC/Mac North American megaserver characters, and will be doing a PC/Mac European megaserver character copy in the coming weeks. Thanks in advance!

      TESTING SUGGESTIONS
      • Find the entrance to Imperial City, and go check out the new areas!
      • Gather as many Tel Var Stones as you can, either from monsters or other player characters.
      • Acquire new gear or item sets, and try them out with your character.
      • Craft new armor or weapon sets via the set-specific crafting stations in Imperial City.
      • Stream or record your group playing through the Imperial Sewers, Imperial Districts, Imperial City Prison, or White-Gold Tower, and let us know so we can watch!
      • Visit an older dungeon with a low-level character, and see if the scaling feels balanced.

      FEEDBACK WANTED

      Imperial City
      • Did you understand how to get to Imperial City, and how the new systems worked? Yes, but you have to look at the map first
      • Was it clear how to leave Imperial City? No, unless porting out
      • How was the overall performance throughout Imperial City?No issues whatsoever when I played
      • How many Tel Var Stones did you get during your testing? Please specify how long you played. About 800 without losing any, played for an hour
      • How many Alliance Points did you get while you tested?
      • If you played through the Imperial City Prison or White-Gold Tower, how did the balance feel between the normal and Veteran versions? What level was your character?

      Tel Var Stones
      • Was it clear when you gained Tel Var Stones? Yes, I suppose, if you bother looking at the bottom right. It's not clear at all howmany you gained per kill/assist
      • Was it clear when the multiplier increased? Only if you bother looking at the bottom right from time to time
      • Were you aware that there was a risk of losing Stones, and how it could happen? Yes, Death recap did this very well aswell as the info you get when entering IC
      • Did you see the accumulation of Stones while you played? Yes, though not per kill/assist.
      • What was your main method of acquiring Tel Var Stones? Grouping up, completing PVE challenges in the Arena, killing mobs & killing players

      Itemization
      • What is your favorite new item or item sets? Where did you receive them?
      • Are you happy with the stats on the new items or item sets?
      • Did you feel the drop rate was adequate?
      • Did you find you could get VR15 gear easily? Was gaining VR16 gear more challenging?
      • Were the new items or item sets worth the effort?

      Achievements
      • Did you receive any new achievements while going through Veteran dungeons, Imperial City, or killing bosses? Yes, when completing the Arena, killing a player in IC, Amount of Tel Var Stones-achievements

      FEEDBACK WANTED

      Imperial City
      • Did you understand how to get to Imperial City, and how the new systems worked? Yes, although discoverable map markers in an interior area is a little odd.
      • Was it clear how to leave Imperial City? No in-game warning was given when leaving the campaign by entering the Group Dungeons. A transitus shrine in the Alliance base would be incredibly helpful, even if only one-way.
      • How was the overall performance throughout Imperial City? Regular CTDs in the districts. No problems in the sewers.
      • How many Tel Var Stones did you get during your testing? Please specify how long you played. 400 in 3 hours of exploration, lost half and would have lost more if not for crashes.

      Tel Var Stones
      • Was it clear when you gained Tel Var Stones? Not very.
      • Was it clear when the multiplier increased? Yes.
      • Were you aware that there was a risk of losing Stones, and how it could happen? Only from prior knowledge.
      • Did you see the accumulation of Stones while you played? No.
      • What was your main method of acquiring Tel Var Stones? Trash mobs.

      Itemization
      • Did you find you could get VR15 gear easily? Was gaining VR16 gear more challenging? Looks to be exceedingly difficult.

      • Did you receive any new achievements while going through Veteran dungeons, Imperial City, or killing bosses? None.

      FEEDBACK WANTED

      Imperial City
      • Did you understand how to get to Imperial City, and how the new systems worked? Yes. Quest giver points directly to sewer entrance.
      • Was it clear how to leave Imperial City? No. There is no indication in game AT ALL that exiting a dungeon kicks you out of Cyrodiil proper, which renders a physical entrance in the IC or sewers useless. After discovering it once, why would anyone bother to run all the way there again when they can port directly into the dungeon from outside. And a player who spent time and effort queuing to get into Cyro, unlocking the entrance to IC just to get kicked out because he didn't know dungeon entrances worked like that is going to be VERY annoyed.
      • How was the overall performance throughout Imperial City? Slightly laggy, CTD in all districts, but compared to live Cyro performance was very smooth, although that might be due to the low population.
      • How many Tel Var Stones did you get during your testing? Please specify how long you played. Banked 350 over a few hours. Lost roughly 400 to players and mobs.
      • How many Alliance Points did you get while you tested? 0.
      • If you played through the Imperial City Prison or White-Gold Tower, how did the balance feel between the normal and Veteran versions? What level was your character? Tried veteran version of WGT, feel that it's completely overtuned. In fact, the dungeon at V15 now seems more of a tedious slog than when dungeon scaling was first introduced. Massive amounts of mob health, high mob healing, instakill AOEs and skills, our group of randoms got bored after the first 2 groups of trash. Fights were just tedious and boring. First boss had some interesting mechanics, but again the sheer amount of damage and adds flying around meant it was almost impossible. Gave up after 2 hours. Char was V15 with V14 gear.

      Tel Var Stones
      • Was it clear when you gained Tel Var Stones? Other than the ding sound, no.
      • Was it clear when the multiplier increased? No. The meter fills but no indication when you jump or fall a tier.
      • Were you aware that there was a risk of losing Stones, and how it could happen? Not without reading the patch notes, no. Only in game indicator is the death recap.
      • Did you see the accumulation of Stones while you played? No. Most I had on my person was 102, which I promptly lost when a large group of enemy players rolled over me.
      • What was your main method of acquiring Tel Var Stones? Mobs. Player kills provided very little stones, I can only assume that no one was carrying any, or the splitting mechanic meant individuals received very little.

      Itemization
      • What is your favorite new item or item sets? Where did you receive them? NIL. Did not receive or earn enough to buy any TV sets. Out of all sets in game now, Nerien'eth is my favourite now, would personally hope Maw of the Infernal gets buffed more to be viable. A thread is already open about MOTI and why it is currently bad.
      • Are you happy with the stats on the new items or item sets? No. Most sets are gimmicky (Phoenix, Shock Master, Essence Thief), too situational (Shield Breaker, Meritorious Service, Powerful Assault), high TV cost for very little benefit. Item descriptions lack information/details. (Phoenix heals for how much? No internal cooldown for Scathing Mage/ Leeching/Prayer? How "nearby" must a player be for Redistribution/Assault? Radius of the Leeching poison cloud?) I firmly believe that when if I'm going to spend time acquiring these new sets, I want to be AS CLEAR AS POSSIBLE about what I am getting. No surprises, no strings please. At the moment, would not buy the news sets even for the appearance. Unable to decide armour type or trait (on vendor/dropped sets) also kills it for me. Same goes for dungeon boss sets, effect is not worth the trouble going through the entire dungeon. Lord Warden 2 piece bonus is a complete let down. Molag Kena might be useful for the 1 piece shoulder, since farming the head is a no-go for me as per the above reasons (tedious, overtuned etc.)
      • Did you feel the drop rate was adequate? No. In the few hours both alone and in a small group I gathered 8 pieces of random V15 gear, which are probably only good for decon. Absolute waste of time.
      • Did you find you could get VR15 gear easily? Was gaining VR16 gear more challenging? By "get" if you mean "acquire" then yes to an extent, since mobs do drop V15 pieces at a slow slow rate. If by "get" you mean "keep and use", no. Not by a long shot did I find anything remotely useful from mob drops. The situation for V16 gear is 10X worse and just seems like an amazingly boring grind.
      • Were the new items or item sets worth the effort? NO.

      Achievements
      • Did you receive any new achievements while going through Veteran dungeons, Imperial City, or killing bosses? No.

      Imperial City
      • Did you understand how to get to Imperial City, and how the new systems worked? - Yes
      • Was it clear how to leave Imperial City? - Not really, but it was easy to figure out
      • How was the overall performance throughout Imperial City? - Performance is fine in the sewers, crashes are unbearable, Don't even try to get into the city portion
      • How many Tel Var Stones did you get during your testing? Please specify how long you played. - I aquired roughly 3k stones in about an hour when PTS went live (ganking other players), a total for all the time i put in (about 5 hours) i ended up with about 8k stones (was mostly pvping).
      • How many Alliance Points did you get while you tested? - Didn't track it

      Tel Var Stones
      • Was it clear when you gained Tel Var Stones? - Yes
      • Was it clear when the multiplier increased? - Yes
      • Were you aware that there was a risk of losing Stones, and how it could happen? - Yes
      • Did you see the accumulation of Stones while you played? - Yes
      • What was your main method of acquiring Tel Var Stones? - Mostly PvE grinding, players usually didnt have very many stones with the zergs running around

      Itemization
      • What is your favorite new item or item sets? Where did you receive them? - Have barely been able to obtain 1 set (shield breaker), I like it, although i believe the damge per light/heavy should be increased a bit.
      • Are you happy with the stats on the new items or item sets? - I like the armor master set, I mainly play stam though so the nobles set looks interesting, but it doesnt have any crit or damage on it, i think the % healing should be replaced with something for dps, also really the only thing i'd be interupting would be players ressing other players, or a sorc hard casting crystal frags, prox det is now instant cast. So not really a lot of applicable situations for the 5 peice except for PvE
      • Did you feel the drop rate was adequate? For materials from decon? No, with 5 hours of playtime with deconstructing everything I find, i was barely able to get enough material to make 1 VR 15 peice of gear, the droprate for materials when deconstructing should be increased, especially if its going to take 130 of a material to make 1 peice of vr16 gear.
      • Did you find you could get VR15 gear easily? Was gaining VR16 gear more challenging? Vr15 was obtainable, vr16 gear seems a bit over the top, wont be able to afford unless i grind my rear off
      • Were the new items or item sets worth the effort? - No

Finding Imperial City was extremely easy, get through the tunnels was a bit confusing at first but you catch on rather quickly. You can even sneak around the mobs to get up top, which was great cause they were all one shotting me.

I have gotten a max amount of 342 stones, mostly from my group killing other players. I find it extremely hard to get them from the monsters. You also tend to lose those stones extremely fast, but Im honestly not upset by that. I had fun.

I played for about 1.5 hours and honestly made almost no AP, also very little XP. Most of both that I made was from the normal daily quests I picked up.

I would highly suggest maybe finding a way to reduce group size in the imperial city. I see it quickly becoming a zergfest which would ruin the fun there.

... Another note on this... I noticed that ultimately you have changed the way points are made in the cyro campaigns... And I don't think what you change will really change much, at all. I would again suggest limiting group sizes in the different campaigns. Make a campaign where you can't have a party larger than 12. That way the small groups aren't fighting after a group with 16 to 20 more people than them.

That's all I have so far!

      FEEDBACK WANTED

      Imperial City
Did you understand how to get to Imperial City, and how the new systems worked?
Yes, it was clear how to access the zone. Though I stupidly just tried to fast travel there >>'
Was it clear how to leave Imperial City?
Not really D: I just fast-traveled out or assumed I'd have to leave through the sewer entrance from my respective alliance territory.
How was the overall performance throughout Imperial City?
Some lag was present, but not consistent throughout my game play. I crashed 3 times over the course of several hours of on-and-off play time. The last three occurred when starting the game itself and being loaded into the zone.
How many Tel Var Stones did you get during your testing? Please specify how long you played.
The highest I got was approximately 450 for around 45 minutes of play time, this was only in the sewers themselves and not within the city proper. I was killed twice by enemy players and lost around 350-450 stones from each of these deaths.
How many Alliance Points did you get while you tested?
If you played through the Imperial City Prison or White-Gold Tower, how did the balance feel between the normal and Veteran versions? What level was your character?

      Tel Var Stones
Was it clear when you gained Tel Var Stones?
The tone that plays make's it pretty clear when I get them, but without paying super close attention to the counter I wasn't actually sure how many I was getting from each kill, or if different enemies gave more or less stones.
Was it clear when the multiplier increased?
      Not particularly :(
Were you aware that there was a risk of losing Stones, and how it could happen?
Yes, I was aware that enemy players could loot stones from you but was not aware you lost them for dying in the zone or that you lost your entire supply of stones to enemy players. The way the system had been described was a bit misleading and I was under the impression only in rare instances would an enemy player be able to loot your entire accumulation.
Did you see the accumulation of Stones while you played?
      Yup
What was your main method of acquiring Tel Var Stones?
Killing NPC enemies, looting chests, or completing the 'dark anchor/door' mini boss within the sewers. I did not seek out enemy players for Tel Var Stones.

      Itemization
What is your favorite new item or item sets? Where did you receive them?
Are you happy with the stats on the new items or item sets?
Did you feel the drop rate was adequate?
Did you find you could get VR15 gear easily? Was gaining VR16 gear more challenging?
Were the new items or item sets worth the effort?

I haven't played through the zone long enough to answer these.

      Achievements
Did you receive any new achievements while going through Veteran dungeons, Imperial City, or killing bosses?

Yes, I received the achievement for killing a member of the Elite Guard.

Havent installed any dmg addon atm but we had a realy hard time doing more dmg then he was healing. I assume it was because of not enough dmg from our side. I dont think its to hard. A try with a real group will show if the healermobs are realy OP. They were also not a problem because of dying but that it took a stupidly long time. It has the big plus, that people can get decent gear rather quick, but people who want to have a goal can keep going for the slightly better v16 pieces and wont find themself with nothing to do. I realy appricate this and even think that 110 pieces per armor piece is not that much. Would be great to need something more like something out of the tresure vaults so there is an incetive to keep farming without getting a unfair advantage over the people wearing v15. And aslong as there are championpoint differnces unfair advantages are a given so it wouldnt even matter if the v16 pieces were much better.

Answeres added in the Quote with " >>" before them.
I realy like the changes you did, and different to the early fear about loosing the Telvar stones, stamina regen and healthbuff/dmg nerf they all seem great as far as i have seen. Especially the longer PVP fights are awesome and the risk of loosing the tel var stones gives it a much more interesting aspect. Its also not that difficult to keep the stones if you are watching out for it. You have to remember that the city districts and the sewers are a pvp area and not pve. As this is the first pvp update i dont think that this should be changed. I understand that its frustrating for pve player to get ganked in the sewers farming mobs, but its not a pve region but an awesome pvp area. The combination of killing bosses and watching out for enemys. The realy hard district bosses are also a great idea, it was nice to use the boss as a tactic to kill a other group of player. So throwing people into the aoe for example. It was also possible to kill the bosses with bigger Groups. A downside are the bosses in the arena. They were to easy and didnt require more than 3-4 people.

I currently have one v14 dd on the live servers and a lvl 40 heal. Have been playing since februrary this year and got into pvp a month or two ago. Still do pve most of the time on live server, so trials, questing, pleges and so on. I am currently alliance rank 6 in assault and support. I dont do high end dmg. I have done AA and Helra hard mode but more because of my awesome guildmates, as i am doing only 9-10k dps on average. So i am not a realy hardcore gamer but more the average v14 player.

My only real problem with the Update is that the trials wont be scaled to v16. As there are no trials in imperial city, people will get to strong for them as they turn v16 so there wont be any challanging large group content anywhere. This could very well ruin many guilds because no one is interested in doing these large 12ppl event anymore and turn to 4ppl content. As nice as the pvp update is, it is unfair for pve player to loose one of their main activitys without getting anything in return. The 4 ppl dungeon is no compensation for losing the only challanging large group content. It wouldnt be a big effort on your side to scale the trails up, but you would do alot for the pve players, who dont want to do pvp but are still playing your game despite no new pve content in over a year. You cant pressure people who are not interested in pvp to play imperial city. Most of them will rather leave then get ganked by people who play pvp since start. The least you could do, is not damaging there gameing expirience with this pvp update, as it will take a while till the orsinium update.

if this is realy the case then it would be extremly sad. I dont think i will play there more then a few times if there arent constantly enough people there. I understand that you want it to match the story but thats just insane. There has to be constant access from all aliance all the time.

For the most part your "PTS" is unplayable. After entering IC proper it's a crash every 5 minutes. I died, crashed, relogged, came back as dead, and crashed again before I could any of the resurrect buttons. I.....just.. have....no words....at least any kind ones.

To add to my prior posting, i wasnt aware of that either. This changes everything. Without all 3 Alliances in the imperial city all the time the whole thing will be extremly boring.

Cant there be at least a campain with guranteed entry? We have different rules for different campains so why not one with fixed entry points. I dont think i will pay for content i cant play.

The Idea of chaining together the imperial city and cyrodil doenst seem to have any positive aspects. Cyrodil player will have to share the cap with imperial city which leads to fighting on uneven numbers. Imperial city player dont want to hop out again to defend keeps or take keeps in order to access content. The only reason you are even considering this mess is because some lore disicion made on release of 1.0 Just seperate the two and everyone will be happy. Everyone knows how hard thier alliance gets screwed on some campains, i think many agree that its a realy stupid idea to pay for content you cant play. Most casual playing people have an hour or two to play, why the hell would they waste their time to do some other pvp stuff for the hope to get in and play the content they want to play.

I think you did an amazing job with the addon but this is a dealbreaker.

      • Death Recap keeping some kind of artifact about stones lost when you rez again (obviously you have none at that point)
      • OP Fear, DK, 2H, & Snipe still going strong. Continuous spawn at same place with continuous non-farm (no AP/XP) ridiculous, too.
      • Single tagging targets before PvE death shouldn't give stones, not mine to them, not theirs to me. 50% or more PvP damage or no reward.
      • Stone-o-meter needs to be somewhere more prevalent. You're not looking at bottom right when all hell's breaking loose center screen.
      • Constant crashes, followed by crash of crash reporter, followed by crash on reloading game is making it rather difficult to test. Here to test the game, not the launcher. (Please put the 'P' back in PTS.)
      • While the gank/exchange factor will be different if one faction has exclusive control, I also think it would take away from the dynamics as it is now.
      • Presently I don't think anyone's taking home stones, we're just handing them back and forth... (EDIT: Last guy standing after everyone else has crashed and can't return is taking home stones...)

@davkin, @Forumer-in-Prison they haven't settled on access requirements, Emp has never been a requirement option considered. It's home keeps, home keeps +1, or majority map. Obviously if you have to take keeps, makes sense to try to go for emp.

      Other feedback:
I find getting TV stones from players without looting counter-intuitive. The looting is part of the risk, and a way historically that many casualties were incurred, which was why looting discipline was such a big deal. I think you should have to loot, it should show up clearly, and that looting should take time. It should also be easier to see how many you have, as you can get into the groove and completely lose track since it's not very easy to see on the fly.

Also, it was pretty zergy- I don't think that equal share is going to prohibit that. I personally think that the killing blow should get all. That will disincentivize zerging, and lay the way for corpse looting.

Great fun, and an adrenaline rush!

I understood how to get in the Imperial City, I just looked at the Cyrodiil map. Although I did not realize there was a quest for entering the sewers, given by captain such and such, during the first couple of days I was testing. It was clear how to leave the Imperial City, again I looked at the map. As far as the performance, There was a bug when I zoned into a part of the city from the sewers for the first time, the client would crash. I would spawn in the zone and a few seconds later the client would crash. The second time in a particular zone, and moving forward, I did not experience that problem.

During an hour long period when I was running with a pick up group through the Antideluvian Vaults. I collected over 500 Tel Var Stones. It was clear when I gained the stones and when the multiplier increased. During this particular run, I was aware that there was a risk of losing stones and that it could happen if I were killed by NPCs or by players. However, I was not aware that I would lose all my Tel Var Stones at once if players killed me. My inventory was getting high and I was wondering how I would get out of the wonderfully massive Antideluvian Vaults. That is when my group came across another group from a different alliance. I died and was relieved that I could go and manage my inventory but horrified that I lost all my Tel Var Stones. I noticed later that there is an item for teleporting back to the safe area in the sewers; sold by a vendor. Although that does not address how I would get back to a group running the public dungeon. I saw the accumulation of stones while I played, the UI was obvious. Although maybe too obvious. I do like an uncluttered UI :) And my main method of gathering Tel Var Stones was killing bosses in the Antideluvian Vaults.

I think there should be a Quest in the Main City of each faction, so you know that there is something in cyrodiil/imperial city going on. Something like a little "how to get into cyrodiil" quest.
This quest could send you to your Imperial City QuestNPC and the Cyrodiil Tutorial NPC.
How many Tel Var Stones did you get during your testing? Please specify how long you played.
I did get roundabout 40 Stone in PvE in the Sewers with a random group and some dying for 1 hour or so. Than i have to log out in the sewers AND be killed by a NB. 40 Stones AWAY! Thats not ok. I playing PVE and ONE 5 Second PvP kill can destroy all my work... not nice! It's ok that you lost "more" stones on players than on Monsters. But not all!
Did you find you could get VR15 gear easily? Was gaining VR16 gear more challenging?
Killed two or three names in the sewers, only VR14 Gear. I found a chest VR14 gear+ 12 Telvar Stones. In the sewers only gear of my level drops.

I think its better to have some time to PVE in Imperial City without FULL respawning of enemy Players. Players should have some "Gate" to get in the Sewers/Imperial City. Something like "Hourly closing of entrance". If entrance is close you can't respawn in the city, only in the keeps. So you have to wait 1 hour till the entrance will be open again. Or you have to find a "Key" to the sewers on enemy players or guards in cyrodill. Some GATE. So not all the time are 3 factions on all respawn points in the districts. Thats annoying.

      Tel Var Stone suggestion -

Make it similar to XP gains in that if the same char kills you multiple times, they don't get keep getting XP. It would be good if they don't keep getting your stones either.

I see many problems in access with keep-count. Underpopulated cant play the dlc.

Better make TIMELY access for each faction:

      With this cycle: 1h closed (1c) / 1h open (o) / 2h closed (2c)/ 1h open (o)

So for example a 7 hour timeframe:

      DC = OPEN / CLOSE / OPEN / CLOSE / CLOSE / OPEN / CLOSE
      AD = CLOSE / OPEN / CLOSE / CLOSE / OPEN / CLOSE / OPEN
      EP = CLOSE / CLOSE / OPEN / CLOSE / OPEN / CLOSE / CLOSE

      Summary=
First Hour: DC have exclusiv access
Second Hour: AD have exclusiv access
Thrid Hour: DC and EP have access
      Fourth Hour: NOBODY ACCESS
Fifth Hour: AD and EP have access
      Six Hour: DC have Access.
Seven Hour: AD have exclusiv access

Hmmm ok so.... only EP did not have exclusic access... hmm maybe with a 1, 2, 3 hour or a 1, 2, 2 or a 1,2,1 "close" cycle :) Think about it! :)

The only way to make it fair would be to have a six-hour base rotation:

      DC = OPEN / CLOSE / OPEN / CLOSE / CLOSE / OPEN
      AD = CLOSE / OPEN / OPEN / CLOSE / OPEN / CLOSE
      EP = OPEN / CLOSE / CLOSE / OPEN / OPEN / CLOSE

Of course you then have the issue that access for certain alliances would be the same time every day, so you can add a seventh hour into each rotation, which would occur randomly after any hour, but only once within one cycle. This seventh hour would be all-OPEN or all-CLOSE, chosen at random.

This content is just a gank fest and PVEers will hate it ,try it once or twice and never return.

I split my time pretty evenly between PVE and PVP so have no real axe to grind either way but this will not work the way ZOS intends , at quakecon they said that they envisioned small groups of 6 or 8 players wandering around killing mobs and doing quests , not going to happen we already have trains charging round killing everything just like they do in cyrodiil , why do you think that the PVPers will change the way they play just for IC , theyre not.

Losing all your hard earn stones is a major turn off , 10% for mob deaths is fine and I could live with 20% for PVP deaths but 100% no , this is a game breaker for me especially as the majority of my PVP deaths have come when i'm fighting bosses or mobs , the cowardly scumbags wait until my health is low jump in kill me with a stun and another hit and all my stones have gone and you think why am I bothering.
The same thing happens when you get a quest like arena were you go in to the arena take on the boss and mobs get their health down low just to get ganked by another group who are at full health who kill us and steal the boss kill as well without doing any of the work , these areas like the arena should be non PVP so you can at least finish the quest and battle it out in PVP once you leave the boss area.
What would make the questing in cyrodiil and IC more appealing to PVEers is an option to turn PVP off (similar to the duelling option in LOTRO which can be turned on and off) and on before you enter cyrodill maybe then all those quests ZOS has spent so much time putting in the game may be done by the majority of players not a very small minority.

As for IC itself the upper areas look good , sewers are a bit boring but hey they're sewers but fighting the wandering bosses and mobs is fun.
I've only crashed once and had next to no lag which is a totally new experience for PVP in this game.
The nerf on radiant destruction of 20% is way to much.
The starting light armour doesn't have a full set so you cant get the 5 piece bonus which is just daft.
Seeing the amount of stones you have and the multiplier was easy although seeing how many stones you get from a kill when you loot would be good.
Getting too and from IC was clear although the quest giver next to the general in Cyrodiil didn't appear the first time I went in but a relog solved that problem.
No idea how many alliance points I got.
Overall a nice area with a small amount of questing content although it is very small for such a long wait since craglorn , but it will be a pure and simple gank fest especially when the big hitters come in who can 1 shot you.
But the biggest thing for me is that there's nothing to work towards once you have finished the quests , there's no areas to take or hold , there is nothing to do there but gank , there's just not enough content or things to do to warrant the price being charged which will put a lot of people off buying or subscribing to get it including me

Not sure if this is already the case, but the bosses in the Imperial City sewers are rather tough. On my first encounter it took about 10 players to take down 1 boss. I think you should at all times be able to sneak past these bosses. Otherwise it's not going to be viable to explore the sewers on your own.
