✭So uh... If you picked Azura's Star to be your first PvP experience and you're NOT AD.... What can you do? Just wait out the campaign? As EP, I can't do anything here but PvE content. And even then, I have to be very careful. I don't even have 15k alliance points to even move my home campaign.0 -
The_Drexill✭✭✭✭Sad state of affairs. Not sure of the psychology behind people that like to fight 40v3... but I guess if that helps them feel better about their RL, more power to them. Fun to catch 10 of them alone though, 3v10 is easy mode against Azura's AD.Brandizzle - NB

So your saying it's like Thornblade last month except AD is doing what EP was doing? So... EP doing it is fine, but not the opposite?

There's no teamwork in that. Teamwork would be 5 groups of 10 split all over the map taking strategic points. 1 group of 50 instead, that's not teamwork... that's the path of least resistance. Especially when your enemy can only field a quarter of that. You're bad, you know you're bad... and I support that. Bad's are important for game health... I'm just saying I'm interested in the psychological side... like, what your type is like IRL, jobs... relationships... What sort of person.

Yeah, same difference. Farmed some of them too... very similar. I think any time people willingly and purposely run with that many more, it's obvious they're not there for the PvP... they don't want a fight. So when you catch that mentality alone, it's lol time.Brandizzle - NB

Rez the dead rez the dead, good recovery, we lost all of raid 2 there, but get their healer, more siege more siege, we need five more pieces of back line siege, thats it, WHOO HOO wiped those bads.
Whoa, we killed 10 guys with 60 people, and only 20 of us died, we are the most awesome players of all time.

WarrioroftheWind_ESO✭✭✭✭I tried to jump in earlier today to burn enlightened when it looked like both DC and EP were making headway. AD down to 2 bars along with the other 2 facs. But the second the ring started lighting up then the babies came pouring in and the server was poplocked in no time. Not only that whatever EP that were on during that time jumped ship just as quickly. At the same time AD in Chill languished with all of 1 bar to EP and DC poplock and of course nary to be found on Thorn. Most of the AD pvdooring whatever EP had left at the time were very poorly experienced. I manage to nuke several that either didn't self heal or roll out of the way. But when theres 3 EP trying to ward off a raid and a half worth of AD PVE buff babies, even with all the good siege placement in the world you know who'll win.0

No it is not. The game is based o massive pvp fight with lots of players. Sorry for playing the game as intended.

Go to Thornblade and run with typical EP zerg? Not that it would really teach u how to PvP better, but at least u'd get ur assault and support ranks high...
Do I earn anything if that's a guest campaign? I don't have 15k alliance points to change my home. I've been wandering around AS for a week trying to kill NPC guards. But seems to be too tough by myself. I've tried finding groups willing to at least flip keeps near my alliance zones, but it's been pretty dead.
I'm not looking for an easy way out. I just wanted to step into PvP, since I've done Cadwell's Silver and Gold. I've done all Cyrodiil solo content. I've done all public dungeons. I sadly don't have the time to sit and do group content because I just can't be on here for 2 to 4 hour stretches. I'd love to, but life.0 -

Same thing kinda goes for Azura Star. Campaign started off nice, but as soon as AD took lead, EP and DC disappear.
I guess "I want competitive PvP" means "As long as we have a zerg big enough to farm AP from pugs and no organized guilds resist us".

"EP ran away"?.......are you serious? .......AD is only over populated on AS because you and DC had a mass exodus from Thorn. Get your facts straight on who ran away from where and why.
DC and AD left thorn because we were sick of the lag, everywhere EP followed us we crushed them because we could actually play the game.
and what are you even talking about? two guilds of EP went on Azuras last night and they tried to both hold up in Chalman and we completely demolished both of them, right after that fight they all changed servers.
Do you think maybe the left because they were extremely outnumbered and after 1.6 bigger numbers pretty much always win?
I repeat, two guilds, both full raids vs our guild but I guess we had like 50x the number of them huh?
Agrippa, you of all people should know that pop-lock isn't a good indicator of organized opposition.
I saw more EP and DC, separately, than I ever saw of any other AD. We were the only group over 10, and I saw at least 3 EP raids and a DC zerg at least twice our size.
I'm loving all this hyperbolic QQ, though. Very popcorn-worthy.
Last night AD was mostly pug groups. No organized guilds.
Had there been organized guilds representing any type of opposition.. EP and DC would have left like they usually do.
This mentality of "we only want to stay and play if we are winning" isn't good for the health of PvP in the game at all.1
