If you take a good grinding spot, tell everyone about it, effectively adding 40 players trying to grind it at a time, it turns into a terrible grinding spot. Add the element of it being in a pvp zone and now you just have a spot where people go to level but instead get killed; more like a meat grinder than an exp grind.

This is the problem. 2 people can keep it clear.
3rd person tagging mobs =25% less xp per kill
4th person tagging the mobs = 50% less xp per kill.
ttk the whole dungeon doesn't improve with 3-4people because 2 can already do it. There is no bonus to having more people. Just lost xp.
I'm happy to kill enemies in there for bonus xp but, frankly, telling everyone about it just makes it worse than craglorn xp gain and you have just ruined it for yourself and for everyone else. I cant kill other DC players!

Anywhoo, when it comes to Cyrodiil and experience points; Bruma + Cheydinhal are very good places to haunt, you get to gank loads of lowbies, some v14s, the occasional l33t Auriel's Bow pvper, plus out of all the other pve quest hubs, Bruma + Cheydinhal allow you to get experience points and gold most efficiently.
So, if you just do Bruma + Cheydinhal, then one of the spots conveniently listed here, you'll be well on the path to your old V14 power level in a timely fashion.

Zenimax have been nerfing such spots since 1.6 launched and we get an OP practically ensuring their spot gets nerfed.
Two possible reasons for this;
1) They are oblivious to what happens once Zenimax find out, or;
2) They have got all the levelling benefit they want out of it and now want it nerfed to preserve the perceived 'lead' they got from it.
Let's hope it's just general lack of awareness that is the cause here...

When I grinded VR 12-14 we made 840k xp/hour but I didn't record that. You can easily get 800k xp/hour if you are in a grp with another player, time all spawns right and dont get to much PvP action.
Now i have the numbers and the calculations
i made it with ESO+ 10% exp buff and Enlighhtment(x4 exp buff), solo
any regular mob - 1456 exp
summoned mobs - 0
chest - 4024 exp
boss - 2912 exp
player kill - 8860 exp
bonuses:
heavy sacks
gems(from boses)
Aspect runes
Martial Knowledge items, 30-60k per piece
mobs per route - 71(103376 exp)
chests per route ~ 4(16096 exp)
bosses per route - 3(8736)
PK per hour ~ 5(44300)-20 - related to online of campaign
average time of the route - 6 min(solo)
EXP PER HOUR(my case) = 1.326.380 per hour
without enlightment bonus ~330k - but i am NB
and now imagine how much you will get in group of 2 persons. without enlightment, but with group bonus exp(afaik 10%?) and SPEED BONUS because of group
~500k exp per hour in worst case, and sorc from the video above make 700k
