DODGE ROLL NEEDS NERF

    I don't think Dodge roll needs nerfed.

    I believe spike DPS is too high atm and I also believe that CC break needs to be instant. and immediate.

    Dodge Roll needs a x3 cost for 12 seconds after the most recent Dodge Roll you used. Similar to the Bolt Escape nerf a long time ago.

    honestly I believe bolt escape cost too much now .....

    and think of all the magicka based builds you would be screwing with this increase to dodge roll. now bolt escape cost too much to get away and dodge roll would be outrageous too lol.

    would be even more heavily stamina based players than there already is.

    GDB should cost 3x more for 12 seconds after the most recent GDB.
    Hardened ward shoud cost 3x more for 12 seconds after the most recent ward
    Blazing shield shoud cost 3x more for 12 seconds after the most recent blazing shield

    ...
    impulse...
    ...


    Why? Because i do not like it when my opponent uses those multiple times in a row! (as good a reason as any)

    You talk about full stamina player, but if they increase the cost of roll what about those players who did not add stamina to their character ?
    My character can only roll 3 times.

    Lol very well said mate, I should not use dodge roll anymore, it upsets some people, I cant have that, how dare I make it more difficult for my enemies to kill me, or I would go on and QQ about it on forums.

    Really? Are you really comparing something you can do a infinite number of times in a row with stuff you can do a limited number of times in a row? What a stupid argument. I've currently lvling up a Bosmer NB so I can abuse the *** out of infinite dodge rolls to get to the target and away from them while spamming my "I win" 2hand ability and even I still think a increase to cost on dodge rolls is a good thing.
    Do you even comprehend why people are asking for this? Because for the health of this game several things (this included) need changed so Zenimax doesn't go down in history as the company that ruined the TES universe.

    A rolling player is completely disabled during the roll. He can do nothing, not even use a potion. He is burning a vital resource (a dodge roll is twice more expensive than a block) while doing no damage to you. It does not allow escape like Bolt escape does because the roll is very short. All it does is postpone the combat for a second.

    There is no reason to nerf it, except for a knee-jerk reaction of button mashers "OMG i am mashing this one button like i always do regardless of what my enemy is doing, and this one just isn't dying! Nerf!"

    How about you just stop attacking him until he stops rolling? Do something else instead. Buff yourself. Heal yourself. Refresh shields. You are free to act - he isn't. Or just hit him with something that cannot be dodged. A debuff. A channel.

    And force even more people to roll stamina.

    honestly I believe they need to make CC break instant and immediate. and probably reduce the cost of Bolt escape a little.

    lol no its not fine, which is exactly why they gave it a huge nerf. 50% more for consecutive streaks...and the 50% increase can't have its magicka cost reduced

    I think some of you need to go back and Read my post again in the subject, to achieve perma dodge rolling you need to give up weapon damage entirely, you will not be killing squat with 2 hander

    It is broken. It needs a cooldown of at least 1.5 seconds. If pvp is supposed to be competetive, it cannot stay this way. No other competetive game has infinite cc immunity and invulnerability. It is a joke to watch. That goes for bolt escape aswell.

    Those who really believe otherwise have probably NEVER played anything close to competetive and should stay quiet. You reveal yourselves as the definition of noobs.

    L2p. If your a magicka user learn to use magicka detention and watch dodge rollers blow up. If your a stamina user, learn to use bow or 2 handed as a gap closer. Dodge rolling is fine in this game. No need to nerf. Nerfing dodge rolling would screw up all magicka (with exception of sorcs) users since they get very little dodge rolling to begin with.

    Hmm I can do 2 (two) dodge rolls on my magicka sorc or can use an escape ability with diminishing returns.

    Remove the dinimishing returns and then it's fair game.

    Or implement diminishing returns to everybody.

    Instead of trying to CC dodge rollers how about killing them. From my experience bodies cant dodge roll. DK can just spam erruption around, use bat swarm, use quick cloak, flames of oblivion, volley, brawler, steel tornado. And if you are Templar just use Jesus Beam this skill is so f* broken it hurts, you cant hide from it. You will get there.

    Only your own, I'd suggest you tone it down just a tad, probably have more success.

    Dodge roll doesn't need a nerf... Every time i see someone spamming dodge roll i instantly know it's an easy win for me. People who dodge roll constantly have no clue about ressource management. If anything, dodge roll needs a buff, because 1 roll takes out 30% of your stamina as a magicka user.

    Edit: the reason I put it blunt is because these forums are crouded with people who will ruin eso if listened to. Like theres 0 good arguments to keep infinite dodge roll in the game. I see the cost argument for magicka users and thats why cooldown would work much better then increased cost.
