DODGE ROLL NEEDS NERF

I'm so sick of chasing these little [snip] grasshoppers all over Cyrodiil. No one should be able to dodge roll infinitely. ZOS needs to increase the cost for consecutive rolls. It's meant to be a quick escape you use at the correct time to avoid a big hit, but instead its spammed for 5 minutes straight. It's lame and makes the combat very frustrating, cheesy and unskillful.

    Maybe if there was a little less spamming of CCs, there would be a little less spamming of moves to escape CCs.

    It's pretty easy to build a character with the ability to dodge roll near infinitely and then deal a massive amount of burst. Stamina builds are quite powerful right now. I agree it needs to be looked at in some way, this is not always a "LTP" issue.

    for the love of God stop asking for nerfs! every time they nerf something to appease people in Cyrodiil it's true *** up for PvE players. then when they fix PvE it breaks something in Cyrodiil. so be part of the solution and quit asking for nerds.

    Being someone who rolls quite a bit on my bosmer NB, i often can get caught but such things as the dreaded talons. Which make me have to roll again with a slight delay! In close quarters combat i have often been whacked mid-roll by a wrecking blow, probably lag but its all good.

    P.S i miss Ambush stunning players.. that was one of my fave moves.. Ambush+wrecking blow Oh well...

    Emperors are nearly unkillable because they have like 40k health and infinite stamina for rolls.

    No its not hard to kill dodge rollers, adapt, overcome, learn, how many other words do you need to get a grip?

    I time my rolls, and why should I care what enemies think?, only good enemy is a dead one, and I shall use every tactic to outwit, and to kill the enemy player.

    Try using talons, or the fighters guild cross bow morph, "cant remember what its called".

    There is a few tactics you can use, so as I said earlier, its not that difficult to kill dodge rollers.

    Its sorta similar to killing bunny hoppers in fps games, so easy its unreal, you shoot ahead to where they are gonna go, or lead your shots, boom.

    And I do think I clearly understand the concept of killing dodge rollers, which I do not think you do:}, still.

Dodge rolling is fine in this game. No need to nerf. Nerfing dodge rolling would screw up all magicka (with exception of sorcs) users since they get very little dodge rolling to begin with.

    Wut? Nearly everything you just said was wrong. Why would rolling screw up magicka builds? Of course it woulkd have an effect, but if it was nerfed.. it would be stam builds that felt it more. Also.. The famous Bow gap closer maneuver.... Also wut..

    dodge roll is fine. For a stamina build to much dodge roll and less stamina to fight, for magicka build there is barely enough to dodge roll or block.

    Totally this. Stamina user's are abusing this mechanic and it needs a "increasing cost to use" penalty just like Bolt Escape got when these same people abusing the dodge roll was complaining about the chain Bolt Escape.

    Your advice is "use talons". Well ok lets say talons did work (which is doesn't), what about the other 3 classes? And fyi, I do run Restraining Prison on my bar, but its useless against roll spam. It never hits them... nothing can.

    Lol, well tbh, I was trying to help you, now I really could not care less that your crying about it, adapt or uninstall your game, its cos of whiners like you we get nerfs, if you cannot handle the game and l2p, then do not play it.

    I and many others can kill roll dodgers, time you joined the crew or cry a river elsewhere.

    I was dumb enough to try and educate you, classic case of projection going on, you whined originally about roll dodgers, pvp is all about outwitting your enemy and killing them, if you cannot do it, then go back to PVE, as you clearly cant adapt or handle the battlefield as it currently is.
