ESO is a bit boring if you're not a die hard elder scrolls fan. It has a lot of potential though. The justice system will help make things less boring I hope.

I'd consider myself a die hard Elder Scrolls fan and I do find it boring. Questing ranges between awesome to tedious but overall lacks depth. Sandbox elements that are absent are probably contributing factor to this.

Go from Point A to Point B. Enroute, kill ***. Enroute, potentially pick up a side quest or two. Don't think, just follow the quest arrow on the compass. When you get to Point B, kill some more ***. Maybe kill a mini-boss or boss. Maybe pick up some item. Maybe talk to someone. But, definitely don't think; that wastes time.

Recently when I started a new character again and got to see the beginner zones again, I could tell by the dyes and armor which is a new player and which is a veteran ;-) Or by the horse they're riding.
I'd say it's about 50/50, new/veteran, but I could be wrong, of course.
