Seriously most over used power. Once you get max magicka regen u can just zip around. Last night a guy named [snip] was zipping in and out like a night blade....also doign 500-600 a hit with his little lighting balls. Thats pretty messed up hes doing what a NB does but way better.

Right after the last nerf it seemed ok, now it's being abused again (used way too many times repeatedly) despite the 50% cost penalty within 4 seconds. It needs to be a flat percent of magicka like roll dodge.

Every class has a type of Teleport Perk.
    • The DK has "Fiery Grip", which teleports a target to the player, available at L1 of the skill line.
    • The NB has "Teleport Strike", which teleports the player to the target, at L4 on the skill line.
    • The Templar has "Focused Charge" which teleports the player to the target, at L20 on the skill line (and annoyingly puts you behind them)
    • The Sorcerer has "Bolt Escape", which teleports the player to a location, at L42 on the skill line

So you want to remove the Sorcerers teleport perk. What sort of perk would it be replaced with and will you remove all the other teleports, and replace them too? While we're at it, you should make them all the same level, after all we're talking about being "fair" right?

Alternatively lets just remove the teleports, or remove the fifth perk of every skill line. Fair, yes?

Dont even include the DK's fiery grip. A) it is a 50/50 on if it will actually work, majority of the time i hit the button (spam it sometimes) and NOTHING comes out. B ) it only works ONCE on the same target. Not the same as the other listed skills. therefor it should NOT be in the list of "teleport" perks.....cuz it only works ONCE.

You've obviously had a very different experience with it than I have. When you're in melee against a character it still works, it just doesn't move them very far and I've used it to drag NPC sorcerers/deadshots back into the fray when they've moved away. I haven't had any issues with it failing to trigger either unless I'm out of resource. About the only teleport perk I haven't tried is Bolt Escape.

Well it is considered a hard cc for one. You can be immune to it and not get dragged back for a second or third round unless said person doesnt know that. As for my experience; It seems to happen, like i said, for me, at a 50/50 success rate on if it will even cost me magicka and fire or no cost and no fire when targeting(edited because I said target not targeting. Drove me crazy after re-reading) the same person I am fighting.

The only think that they should focus on is balancing the classes. I know that probably that they are trying, its not an easy job, but so far...big fail imo.

Every class should have an "escape" skill that if the fight goes wrong. Atm the BE is the best available, so of course that the Sorcs have big advantage.
No other class have this ability and don't start with the NB, because if you ever played one, the "shadow" skills doesn't help you a lot. After they removed the "increased sneak speed" sets, imo we rolled back and give adv to one class.
    (forums.elderscrollsonline.com/discussion/132224/night-silence-set#latest)

Atm most ppl playing Sword/Shield, second weapon Resto/Destro staff...sometimes 2 handed, bows are less and less around, DW is almost gone. Maybe they should think about why this is happening...or maybe they don't care?!
They are just changing what ppl are using, not even looking how to improve the weapons/skills that are not used, but some of them could be very good.

Sorry guys that I went out from the topic.

    Cheers

I agree with you :D But i have always used light armor and spells with staves in every ES game ^_^ so it comes natural to me. What was unnatural was me doing a melee character. So i started a battle mage (sorc sword and shield) with secondary a bow. Love the hell out of him, but he could really REALLY use some work.

@maxilaub17_ESO‌, a flat percentage like what? You realize that dodge is a cost, not a percentage, right? Otherwise a low level character with 500 stamina would be able to dodge just as many times as a VR12 w/full stamina gear and all Attribute points in stamina?

It's a skill with a cost...a cost and then a penalty cost. Take the max of the attribute and divide it by the cost and that's how many times it can happen.

Again, we trade Health and Stamina for Magicka. If you choose to have double the stamina I have, WTH would I be able to use a stamina skill as many times as you can?

If you have double the Stamina Regen I do, WTH would I expect to regen my half-as-much stamina as you would your twice-as-much, twice-as-fast stamina?

You want to cap Magicka or Regen? Fine. You shouldn't be able to walk around with 3500 Health then. You shouldn't be able to have double the stamina regen I do.

In fact, the choice in gear and attribute points should be completely void altogether!?

Each build has benefit. Each build has tradeoffs.

Someone using their build, and their skills, according to design - a different design than the one that you chose, and you want to complain because they're able to use it accordingly?

Would you be okay with a staff interrupt/bash taking out a flat percentage of your stamina? Or, would you expect to be able to take more because of the way you chose to build you character - able to perform stamina feats better, faster, and longer than I because I didn't build my character that way?

There's nothing abusive about it. That's why the penalties are in place after everyone complained the first time through.
Just because you don't like the way something is doesn't necessarily make it wrong...

Why should every class have an escape? Should every class have a self heal, should every class have a fear, or should every class be good at every style of fighting? You give a DK a get away and the best melee combat skills? or templars a get away with the best support?

The sneak speed stacking was not an escape since you couldn't use it until after you left combat again.

As far as I'm concerned Bow, Sword and shield, and 2 handed are all viable weapons in PvP and PvE. If you use a sustain stamina build against magic users they will over extend their resources because they don't realize they get nothing back from harness magicka. DW needs some work but only on blood craze or whatever the first ability is called. That move isn't very good. Fury is fine flying blade is fine the AoE morph whirlwind is good. And sparks is really good against melee fighters.

Dear Artemis, check this out and tell me if I should start delete cloak thread or would people just laugh at me:

I'll tell you how. I was chasing this NB all the way from one keep to another. He was running + cloaking, I was on my powertrip using my OP bolt escape. Noticed him when he started running away from someone else from my faction, so I headed there.
He would cast cloak couple of times and then just run. Whenever I feel like I'm getting closer ( and it takes some good luck to guess which way invisible player is running) he just casts his cloak again. Rinse and repeat. I never caught him. That is so broken...
Should I mention, that they use cloak and then have 100% critical chance or purge all my dots, and on top of that they can attack when they are invisible? and when you break that sneak attack's stun and are supposed to be immune to cc, they will use cloak again?
Anyways, idk where you got your numbers from, but I tell you nightblades can really use cloak multiple times. And I was using shields and streak. Of course, given there was unlimited time, I would probably catch him eventually...or not. However, there is no reason to consider longer periods than 8 hours I spent doing that in this game. Moreover, I should be able to see him without potions somehow. Or wtf? Ppl can stun streaking sorcerers, but then nightblades don't care about Restraining Prison and just use cloak. And it can't be countered. ONLY if you have PBAoE or caltrops on your bar...Which is not something a solo sorcerer would have, whereas almost any nightblade would use cloak because it's just too good and is offensive and defensive(escaping) at the same time.

That might be believable, except dark cloak is broken sooooo....yeah, you can't make the reverse argument. It's like comparing apples to elephants.

Actually it would be comparable IF dark cloak also stunned anyone who got close. :)
