Collectible Achievement Guide (Spoiler Alert)

Dunkmeister

This is a comprehensive list of trophies for your collectible achievements, including the enemy it drops from, zone and dungeon or landmark they are located in or around.

NOTE: Updated with changes from One Tamriel. It is now possible to farm all locations listed in any faction since all enemies give experience.

Important Notes about trophies/collectibles:

• Trophies can drop from the specified enemy type at any location/zone. It is not location specific. For the most part, locations listed below are suggested locations to farm the correct enemy.
• The drop rate of collectibles is completely random. Some trophies may take you several hundred or thousands of enemies to kill before it drops.
• Trophies are bound to your character. Once you loot the trophy it lights up the item in your achievement. You can not bank trophies and trade them to alts.

If you find any good farming spots not listed, comment in the thread and Ill try and update it.

Please post the following information:

• Name of the collectible
• Name of the enemy that dropped it
• Zone you found it in
• Nearby landmark or area of the zone
• How many of the specified enemy types are in the area (approx. numbers are ok too)

I believe they only drop if you get xp from the mob.

Smoldering Emberheart - from a Fire Atronach at Northwestern Shore Dolmen in Cyrodiil, I believe every Fire Atronach can drop it.

Tomb Urn - from a Sand Human (e.g. Anka'Ra Soldier) in Hel'Ra Zitadel. As far as I know Sand Humans (members of the Anka'Ra Clan) can also be found in Craglorn itself, e.g. at Rifts and Events (Anka'Ra Burial Sites). Maybe also in Daily / Public Dungeons?

Since Smoldering Emberheart is dropped by a Flame Atronach and Fleshy Simbiont is dropped by Flesh Atronach, I guess Everfrost is dropped by a Frost Atronach and Crackling Lodestone is dropped by a Storm Atronach.

I found the Twitching Draugr Hand in Eastmarch at Bonestrewn Crest from a.....Draugr.

Ectoplasmic Discharge was found on a ghost type mob in Forgotten Crypts public dungeon in Deshaan (I think they are called just "Ghost" but they are the white ones, not the wraiths).

Stony Heart from a gargoyle in Lost City public dungeon in Alik'r.

Ectoplasmic Discharge dropped for me from the Ghosts in Tanzelwil (Zone: Auridion)

PS: Location of the drop is irrelevant. But its good to have a location where allot of the NPCs needed to kill can be located.

Thanks. That forum is dead though and I could only find it by doing a search. As for the location of the drop, you're right. I probably drops from any of them no matter the location, but it does help to know where it has dropped for certain. It just saves folks (me included) having to try and hunt down their locations. I appreciate the feedback through.

So far this list has been working out fine for me in terms of what monster to kill for which collectable. Once you've selected a monster it's best to find a location which has a high volume of said monster and grind them. I find delves and the public dungeons to be ideal (http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Online:Delves) but there are some monsters which don't exist in this sort of state (like Jackals and Nereid) and are a bit more painful to farm.

No. You just have to find that mob in a higher level zone if they're too low for you to drop. Im v12 and finding these just fine.

I see a lot of these collectibles are being had in Cold Harbour. Is anybody getting them at vet levels? I made VR12 long before the patch fixed the bug that blocked the achievements. Cold Harbour has a lot of collection opportunities, but I don't want to waste time there if I'm overleveled.

I'm v12 and getting the drops from coldharbor. It's safe to go there for them.

Crackling Lodestone
Dropped from Strom Atronach near Willowgrove in Reaper's March (the quest there takes you right to the area with all 3 atronach types).

Whirring Dynamo
Dropped from Dwarven Spider in Bthanual, Deshaan (they have a pretty fast respawn rate plus lots of 3 groups in the one room).

Everfrost
Dropped from a Frost Atronach at Spellscar, Craglorn. Willowgrove in Reaper's March is probably a better place for Frost Atronarchs along with Fire Atronachs.

Banekin Horn
Dropped from a Banekin in The Cave of Trophies, Coldharbour (heaps of Banekin in here).

I don't see any mention here of someone getting a Cruel Collar from a jackal. AFAIK, jackals are only in Alik'r. I haven't seen them in any other zone. Since I'm DC, that means they are way below drop level for me. It seems to me the only way to get this on my main toon would be get the collar with an alt, and transfer it to my main. Is this even possible? Anyone else from DC find a way to get the Cruel Collar?

I imagine Beast Collector is going to be a tougher one to get them all. There are a few in there that are not as common. Hopefully, someone will post with where they found jackals in decent numbers in a vet faction for you.

There isn't any level limit for collectibles to drop, I've had several guildies and friends that got a low-level collectible while they were just passing through an area and killing a few things.

Anyways, on my AD char (got more but need to see where I got them):

Bile Gilt: Bull Netch in Stonefalls, Deshaan and Bal Foyen. The latter was the easiest to farm because you can make a nice circle there and barely have to wait for any of them to respawn.
Malformed Kagouti Tusk: Kagouti in Shadowfen near the Hatching Pools Wayshrine. You can go down a bit and kill a few small packs and go up again for more.
