Chillrend NA - Where cool kids go.

None of WCFC is guesting or just PUGs. We are all on the Chillrend server as our home campaign. We came to the server because me and a number of other guild members found Chillrend to be a more enjoyable server with less queue wait times. While I personally wouldn't say we alone were the reason for the EP takeover on the server, we are definitely a major part of it. There are other organized EP PvP guilds on Chillrend besides us whom we coordinate with when making big moves.

While most of WCFCs members have full time jobs, we also have a large Australian base that plays during hours many of our US members are doing their 9 to 5. Because of this we usually have some sort of raid going all the time whether our numbers are big or small.

To be honest, after the takeover of the map by EP last weekend we saw a major drop in AD and DC player on Chillrend (especially AD). It is under my assumption that many of the AD have moved to Haderus or Thornblade.

If you want to take Chillrend back, then fight for it. We would very much enjoy more action.

DC is like what..200 points ahead on Thornblade? And they pop lock every day along with AD while EP is lucky to hit 3 bars.

Meanwhile, on Chill, per ESOSTATS, you guys are getting your ass handed to you by EP.

    http://esostats.com/

Is this 3rd party site just anti-DC and changing their data or are you just full of isht as it seems?

The same site shows that on Sunday, August 10, the difference between the two scores (DC and EP) was about 1,100. While the site doesn't show it due to its imperfect update schedule I remember the score getting down to a very tight 900 point EP lead. EP spent all afternoon and evening on Saturday, August 9 fighting to push back DC, get its home keeps back, and get the scoreboard going "the right way" again.

What event coincides with the lead changing from a contracting to an expanding trend around that time period?

Arkath, you are FENGRUSHian levels of annoying to fight (take that as a compliment).

Our tent dropping Nightblade went through over 20 of the things, and at one point I was having to have the team trade him more tents as the Quatermaster had been dead for an hour. As far as we were concerned, you guys were Johnny on the Spot in regards to stomping on them.

It was a close thing at Chalman. At one point we even lost the Apse flag, but regained it. Just a brutal, no punches held back siege -- which is what an Imperial last stand should be.

    But right now?

    Cooooooooffffffeeeeeeeee..... neeeeeeeeed coooooofffeeeeeee

Thank ya, sir. You are Agrippian, in the same manner. Although you would be, wouldn't you.

Speaking of the back flag flip, man. We secured it, and (was solo much of the night) I pushed to the front flag, hoping the puggers would follow. It must have been nearly a minute of streakage back and forth with you guys on the front flag before I realized that no one followed. That was the defeat, I think, that sent most of our forces to bed with no supper, so to speak.

Rather than coffee, I've resorted to cherry lemon sun drop. My kidneys will pay the price for last night's pvp.

Their hesitation probably came from the fact that we had a meatbag firing on them from the Nave (which did a ton of work over the course of that siege) and just as you streaked forward Mythdrine (sitting Emperor) Blazing Shield bombed the back flag and dropped several novas, one after the other, due to it.

I imagine that was a tough moment for Blue. Hijinx TS was frantic as it happened and we were panting with spent tension and relief once the flag slipped back to red.

Are we discussing how TKO got their ass handed to them guesting over on Bow of Shadows yesterday?

There was literally 1 guild + me and my PvE buddy assisting said guild while AD tried to PVE the server when no EP were on.

You need to start practicing what you preach over in AD. Half the crap you moan about your team does itself.

It was literally a handful of people trying to stir *** up, not some grassroots PVE movement - I don't generally PVDoor because it's boring as ***. It was fun for a bit to back and forth with some reds, in the end we got pushed out and left.

I mean, it's no biggie, enjoy your monored map.

So... when I went to bed, EP had been pushed back to --

    Chalman
    Arrius
    Farragut
    Drakelowe
Dragonclaw (which my guild captured to restore transit to Chalman when we didn't own Farragut/KC).
    And holding Altadoon and Ni-Mohk

When I checked the map at 8:30 AM CST before going to work, we owned --
    All Home Keeps
    Dragonclaw
    Ash
    Aleswell
    Alessia
    And Roebeck was under siege.

lol, here is that gem again:
WCFC is far from a zerg and we didn't PVDoor. We took keeps from the other factions with coordination and skill while they fought back.

    just lol.

    Goodness. I wasn't implying anything.

We always welcome fellow EP guilds that play with skill, class, and good sportsmanship. We embrace them and love fighting along side them.

We want to see more of that on this campaign.

Even if it involves nightly PVDoor?

All three factions pop-lock every day on Thornblade.

Yeah and its locked for most of the day with AD, 2/3 of the day with DC and maybe 2 hours (EST post 6pm) for EP.

I'm so tired of hearing other factions crapping on EP when the truth is we are owning you despite less guilds, more pugs, and less players period.

So a guesting guild that runs a nice little blob got Arkath'd tonight - I joined in for the fun of streaking their line. It feels very evil to do it to them and drop 3 negates in about 10 seconds. But, it made for good fights. I think the new dynamic is actually hurting the "zergball" and favors more varied attack methodologies. Relying solely on one or two buttons will not win fights against other groups.

We won a lot of fights tonight - even fought a well organized AD group who kept getting better ground on us - but they still lost due to being too tightly wound.

The reality is the EP zerg on this campaign has one solid group that homes on this server. The res of them I have no fear taking on 40+ with only 16-20. I think the emp group is tired. They played very poorly tonight but responded to everything. Fatigue is definitely a factor at this point.

We will stay on Chillrend for now. Continue to treat it like Bloodthorn and we'll not bother and go to the 30 day campaign.

I will NOT suffer another Bloodthorn.
Pops were about the same, if not in EP's favor at times, even while we fought AD simultaneously - yall just couldnt handle EHJ+emp.

No, I'm talking about grinding the entire map from my gates each morning.

I don't give two craps about your epeen.
Someone's salty lol. And it seems this campaign will be similar to DB in that DC will have a group in the morning and AD/EP will fight it out overnight.

Nothing's worse than a sore winner.

I'm talking about day capping. As far as I know there's no ozzie contingent here. BT suffered through it and 3 months is enough for us, thanks.

Right it's Eps turn now having groups on constantly. It's nice that there are people to fight all day on the campaigns now instead of pvdoor. I never did take a large role in capping the entire map(@daytime) but I do get on more regularly during day hours now that the population is mostly red during the day and I'm dc.

Our guild brought about 30 to the fight last night for AD. We had 3 keeps when we started with alessia. EP brought a very good group and took us out. DC started pushing EP and we ended up getting all our home keeps back plus nickel and sej. Had some great fights after that until the whole EP side decided they would take us out at brk. Was some good fights except for that pesky EP team which are just out of our league. Was a good night for the most part. =)
