Normally I reserve my comments for discussing game developments, mechanics, and helping share information, but I think there are a few comments that need to be addressed.

Agrippa_Invisus I think Illumous has said more than I could about the EP chat issues, I play very late at night so I miss a lot of it, so I have nothing I can add to Illumous' statements but to simply concur with the sentiment.

But, I do think you and (more importantly) the AD/DC on here should be aware that there are players from AD/DC who are logging in on alts to hurl incendiary personal attacks at WCFC. Most of which are simply ignored/reported, but frankly it is very unpleasant to have some random player spewing vitriolic curse laden insults at WCFC in zone.

It also really isn't WCFC problem that the bulk of the Oceanic players for AD/DC aren't on the same server as us. So making disparaging comments and claiming to not 'respect' WCFC because your Aussies are all on other campaigns is completely uncalled for. I know there is a strong group of AD players because we would fight them nightly on Wabba, but I haven't been seeing them on Chillrend.

And the belief that taking keeps and scrolls only during specific times, or that doing so during other times is 'wrong', during a 24/7 campaign implies that people who play at times different from your own should simply not play. Which is a terrible sentiment to have in a game. It is the epitome of elitism and toxic to the community.

Having the gall to insult a guild, with a lot of Aussie/West Coast/late night players, for playing the game during the time it is convenient for them, and then use it as some sophistic justification for your own actions to dissemble your own self-interest and motivations, is frankly, cowardly.

I shouldn't have to state if but given the commentators on these forums I think I must, WCFC does not like to PvDoor. It means no real AP, no challenge, no learning opportunities for new members, and no opportunities to test our new tactics. Also when we are playing at night we do face opposition, frequently in fact, so whoever is telling you that we gained so much ground without anyone opposing us is lying to you. I can't speak for everyone, but I actually enjoy a long drawn out fight that we eventually lose, if it means our faction was able to gain sustainable ground in other parts of the map during the time.

Lastly, I see that many people using the term 'zerg' to describe WCFC, either they have no idea what the term actually means, or they have no idea how WCFC plays (in either case they shouldn't be throwing around disparaging labels). We use multiple maneuvers and tactics in battles, and adapt to the changing field of battle, deploy different stratagems, and use the topography to plan our sieges. We use a wide variety of skills, rather than simply Talons, Impulse, Bat Swarm, and Streak.
You have enemies? Good. That means you've stood up for something, sometime in your life.

Edited to remove the names

I don't need to know how WCFC plays I can judge them by their /zone chat alone. They were at it again tonight. I joined a PUG group earlier this evening and just happened to walk into a conversation on how such and such guild was a complete joke. Everyone had something negative to say and I'm like WTF. Finally someone spit out those 4 letters and I had to chuckle. Not sure I can have any less respect but good to know a large laughing fan base is growing.

So many massive battles tonight. Can't explain how much fun it is to jump into a sea of red and see Hijinx, WCFC, and TSYM all at the same place. We had trouble getting anyone to come at us for a while this evening, but once EP pop-locked, it was one fight after another. Good times in Cyrodiil.

We had it last night at Arrius lumber mill. Holy Crap that was fun. Made 8K on one run thru EP's mass and then back thru AD's mass. We were most definitely the cream in the cookie and everyone took a bite but whoa did we cause some massive cavities.

Sad to say, truly I wish it wasn't so, but WCFC seems to have earned it's negative social reputation. I'm sure that there are some really great and wonderful players in that guild (there has to be not everyone is a bad apple), but they are over shadowed by the hate speech coming out of a couple of their leaders.

Cussing people out in zone chat, spamming, nasty tells, pretending that no one else knows what they are doing... that is the impression I have of the guild. The Pact would be much more as a whole if folks felt they could work together, but the WCFC hate speech is counter to that. Maybe they can turn it around, maybe not. One can only hope.

Yup - a Highly contested and very well fought crowning today - combined with a scroll run for fun. Congratulations to Coolmacho yet another DC Emperor!! That's 9 on this campaign BTW :)

Ales was a fortress for EP after we flipped a couple keeps. We enlisted help in zone and got it - but there were just too many EP camping inside Ales and they were well lead. We had to switch gears and snag kings. Forcing them to the other side of the map. Once we had picked up the scroll a gracious DC got us a camp at Ales and we were able to take it with MUCH less resistance - crowning Coolmacho!!

With AD constantly hitting Roe and Alessia and forcing us to defend - while still maintaining our momentum it was great fun. Thank you to everyone who defended - and everyone who helped crown Coolmacho today!!

Yeah, having to take a raid group that wasn't full to begin with, and sending a few to this keep, and a couple to that keep to defend against attackers really made it a close call. Definitely a lot of effort put in by everyone, including attacking AD and EP. Glad everyone could turn out to fight!

On behalf of WCFC, I would like to apologize for any issues anyone has had with our members. I know some things have been said that shouldn't have been. I have personally messaged a few people to apologize. If I have missed anyone, please let me know.
We have a really good group of people with large egos and there are times we need to be more humble. There have been some insults hurled in our direction and we have not handled them appropriately. It is easy to get caught up the trash talk and take it too far.

It is better to work with those on your side than it is to work against them and we realize that. Anyone that has been on in the last few days should have noticed a difference and that we are trying.

If anyone has any issues with any of our members, please message me here or in game (@cinnamon_spider) and it will be handled. If you have us on ignore and don't want to remove it, I understand. However, I would ask that you give us a second chance.

Aside from that, I have been part of some really awesome battles in the last few days. I was with a group that successfully defended BRK from the AD emp group for well over an hour. Last night, I got 100k AP just from that battle against DC at Glademist. I'm really looking forward to the challenges the next campaign will bring.

Some dude in /zone chat tonight said he got kicked from WCFC tonight because he was associated with another guild. Is that your policy because it didn't sound like he was aware. That doesn't sound like an act of smoothing things over.

There are no polices like that. I haven't been in game today, so I don't know any details on this, but it's usually best to take those kind of things from zone chat with a grain of salt.

Only time I notice issues is crashing into PBAoE groups. Get some skill lag then. But otherwise I haven't noticed it too much. We do lock across the board though, and there are some pretty massive engagements at times. But even tonight, our 22ish vs TSym a few times at Arrius mine, there was some skill lag. Hit streak while facing one way, it goes off a second or two later and sends me in the wrong direction. That kind of thing.

Many fun fights tonight. Hats off to all for the fun keep defenses and sieges. EP has a tendency to take DC home keeps at night - so we did it back to them tonight and made a nice chunk of AP off the people coming to take them back. It was particularly fun fighting 50+ EP at Farragut and pushing them all the way out to the mine with my group of 22, then capturing the flag. Really fun stuff tonight.

Had a couple good fights with TSYM as well. Got them a few times at the mine at Arrius - before someone else put Farra under siege and we went to defend. Overall a really fun night ended with a 50+ EP crew taking Farra off our hands - finally, I really wanted to go to bed! Thanks to all the combatants. Always fun.

    Farewell Chillrend.

I wish I could say it was fun, there were times, but hard for a guild of 10 guys to do much against the insane EP/DC zergs throughout the campaign. Even when we would accomplish something we'd go to bed an wake up to the entire map being lost yet again.

We're headed to the 7 day campaign, hopefully the sides are more balanced there and maybe will have a little less Emp swapping zerg swarms going on.

I watched a Red zerg in ball formation roll off a wall at BRK last night and chew up a bunch of AD pugs assaulting the keep. I had the distinct impression of World War Z watching that, it was pretty scary. It almost seemed like their numbers grew for every AD pug consumed...

I saw TSYM doing some kind of weird circle train there getting chewed up a few times, but WCFC? If they were there they got eated pretty fast. We left after too many AD pugs showed up to feed AP and eat our camps, and ninjaed KC (thanks for letting us check your stream delay guys!) for an excellent night of farming.

No it's full of WCFC PvDooring the map red  It's the only way they can "win" and wreck stuff - by taking non defended keeps and then sitting in them the next morning while teeny groups try taking them back. The tells I got as my 8 man morning crew ground out keeps against 16+ defenders proves the immature nature of this guild - believe me. We had a 4:1 kill to death ratio and only had 8 guys and were attempting to reclaim keeps in an odd order - regardless we got tell spammed and disrespected even though outnumbered 2:1 and finishing kill quests quickly.

Well, that's it for Chillrend 1.0.

EP comes in 1st, DC in 2nd, and AD in 3rd (mostly due to a lack of population - admittedly).

    Good Job, EP.

Thank you DC and AD for the fights and fun along the way.

Chillrend 2.0 will see a different role for Hijinx in the upcoming 2 weeks. We've taken up a lot of stress and workload for doing things that needed to get done for EP. We'll be stepping back from that and letting EP see if they can swim on their own.

We'll be around, but with more days off from map pushing. If you don't see us as high on the leaderboards, don't worry, think of us as just hibernating a bit this upcoming cycle.

This last evening saw some particular good battles -- especially around Ash and BRK. The fights at Ash were especially fun, both taking the keep away from AD and defending the keep against DC in small group combat (we had 10-11 guys left online around that time).

As predicted, the big guilds from each faction did spend the last day of the campaign, with the score settled, farming like crazy.

I was able to push up to alliance rank 32. Getting up there!
