Snowstrider✭✭✭✭✭Still doesnt work,Dev told me that i should change SET FULLSCREEEN on the notepad,The thing is,He told me to put a 1 after that but on the text file there were already a 1. He think the problem is caused by the fullscreen.

The new patch made it so now I can't even log on. It gets to where I type in my password and starts then just spins and disconnects. Getting very old very quickly.0

It appears Molag Bal is trying his utmost in thwarting your progress. He fears how powerful you have become and has placed spells across the land to burden you.
Error 301 occurs when the lobby times out, often due to a high volume of login attempts on the server at the time. I recommend waiting for about 15 minutes before attempting to login again, as by then the issue should have resolved itself.

Addons are loaded (or disabled) when you load your character. Here we are not being able to even get to the character selection screen so...

Support, please, are you even reading what any of us are saying? I've gotten the same message for three days and still cannot log in. I've waited enough fifteen minutes

theStrict9✭✭This is not a client-side issue! This is most likely caused by disconnecting from the game improperly and leaving the account in a state that blocks any attempt to reconnect to the server. It isn't even a connection problem because it only exhibits this behavior with a valid password. Otherwise it tells you your password is wrong. You can't pass or fail authentication without some kind of connection. There are legitimate cases of 301 errors, caused by actual connection problems, and there is at least a handful of people like myself who are locked out of the game (not banned). I have never installed any addons.
Best way to reproduce this would be to disconnect from the game suddenly. I just chose to quit the game before the logout timer finished and I haven't been able to reconnect since. I've tried all the troubleshooting tricks, tried logging in from a different network and different PC and it still won't work. It's not a client setup issue. My son can login from the same computer no issues...... Does the same thing if I go and try logging in from his computer, he can log in with his account, but I cannot log in with my account.2

Starting to wonder if there is an easy fix for this they could do; but they'd have to do it manually on all reported accounts. Looked back and during beta this problem was going on (Same extended error screen), and they were able to fix it for people within 15-20 minutes... Their automated system for this is probably broke, and since their support is limited because of the weekend, their just trying to get that back up.Edited by spiritwindb14_ESO on May 25, 2014 1:31AM0

The same thing is suddenly happening to me today after being able to play since launch (with rare 301s that only happened once each time, so I didn't worry). I just put in a ticket, but the ticket # is 140524-0374390 -
I've been having this problem (infinite load screen before character selection screen) For about an hour now. I had chalked it up to the new hotfix being implemented and that there was some extra strain on the server. I had the same problem when the 1.1.2 patch was implemented this week. I'm hoping this clears up soon but I understand that problems like these can be tricky to deal with.0 -

Sithys✭✭And tricky to deal with? No. No it won't be. There are enough specific accounts with the same logged ticket issue details to find where the problem lies. A flag 1 not flipped to 0 on the effing login server due to errored logout, preventing further login attempts.
