can't login to the game and no answer from customer support!!!!

I need someone to check my account! I haven't been able to login since yesterday.

I know it's the account and not an install issue because I tried logging in from 2 other pc's.

Here is what happen:

After the 1.1.2 patch update I logged on and started crafting in riften. The game froze and I wasn't able to alt-f4 or even bring up task manager. I rebooted my pc then tried logging back in and couldn't log in. I keep getting error 301 or timed out.

After thinking it was something with the install I decided to repair the launcher, still didn't work. So finally after about 25 times of failing to log in I decided to try and log in from my husbands pc. (he is able to log into his account)

Still, from my husbands pc I get the same error 301 / timed out.

This is very frustrating. I recently upgraded to imperial edition to support the game but yet all of my support tickets are being ignored.

I would really like to get this fix ASAP. I have been very patient with all the bugs that has came with the game but being absolutely unable to play a game that I am paying monthly for is unacceptable.

    did you put in a ticket? I'd suggest creating a help ticket and putting in the ticket number on an edit to you post. Also request a call back and maybe a tag to one of the mods like @ZOS_TristanK or @ZOS_AlanG‌

    I put in 3 support tickets with no reply. Now I just tried to access my account from the website and got this.

    Good luck. It's the day after a huge patch. I'm not surprised they are slow but I know you need this fixed. Not making excuses for them but maybe a little understanding.

    @leilani96792‌ are you sure you used the right email address when submitting the ticket? I assume you did it on the website since you couldn't login. Try submitting another taking care to make sure you are entering your email in properly, or ask them to call you.

    I'm having the same issue, I've sent a ticket and at the end they told me to wait the specialized team to contact me because they wasn't able to fix my problem, so here I am still waiting for the specialized team to contact since yesterday. I've been pushing all day replying the response from yesterday and nothing there's no contact from the customer support. Simply unacceptable and I'm totally agree with you.

    I was having this same issue *before* the patch. 301 error. then same with ticket response. they pushed to another team and I never heard anything after that. there's another thread someone started with same issue. forget which one.

    I have cancelled my suscription since i had a problem that does not allow me to play (because of new patch)and nobody answer so i cannot solve. YOu ask a lot for patience but this game is not worth the price form far (was it really tested? dificult to believe, did you really care of us when you did not think we would not like to have maintenance at daytime hours in eu server, as difficult is to preview that, for example?) i feel cheated you wasted all my patience in doing each day the worse. I cannot play, after weeks of having uncountable issues, bugs and elusive answers i give up. when i firstly installed it i was so excited and i thought this will be best game in the world... and you have make disappear all that ilusion and turn it into a true nightmare.
    Btw, tired of eternally repairing I tried to uninstall and reinstall the game and still does not work neither got a response from customer support.
    Thanks Zenimax and Bethesda your game is the more annoying and frustrating one i have played in my life, absolutely a sabotage to yourselves. Bruixa

    I remember seeing a bunch of 301 errors a while ago, where logging in via account website got same error. I don't know if those peeps ever got problem fixed.

    Okay, I read through the previous customer complaints about this. All of them have up and unsubscribed, and/or got refunds, as CS couldn't fix it.

    Question - does your account password contain any Unicode characters (non A-Z or numbers)?

When Support sends you an email and their advice doesn't help, please do not hesitate to reply letting them know. They'll be happy to either continue investigating the issue or put you in touch with another agent who can.

    Below are several troubleshooting steps that we recommend folks try:
    • Add eso.exe, the launcher, and account.elderscrollsonline.com as exceptions to your anti-virus and firewall programs.
    • Launch ESO as administrator.
    • Launch ESO straight from the file locations as opposed to a desktop shortcut.
    • Manually check your launcher for updates.
    • Repair your launcher.

    Thank you for the update. I got their email and they basically told me the same thing, I explained to them that it's my account and not the install. Told them that I tried to login from 3 different PC's all of which worked for my husbands account and not mine I also posted them a link here. Just waiting for a reply now.

    This is not the only thread about this. It has been going on since the patch. People randomly crash, pc locks up and manually close the program, then can't log into game. I have had 3 responses from CS with basic computer fixes for dummies that do absolutely nothing to fix the problem. Used their game report tool and sent them info. And now the email response is "were escalating to next dept." Why waste half a day of my friggin time if you don't know. After two months of this we all know the "escalating" means you have no clue what is broken and are sending us the response to shut us up.

    Like everyone else in all of the threads about this, this started happening after crashing post-patch. It's your problem, not ours.

    I find the OPs comment there interesting. It definitely looks like its account based then and not a problem with the files on the computer. If the husband can login fine, but then she can't on her account, but then he can, what does that look like to you.

    some of our problems are defiantly on your end and seems triggered by the game crashing,im guessing its from not logging out properly and will likely be temporarily fixed by restarting your servers for us who are effected here is what i have tried thus far:

    changed name to "backup" on both update files so they could be re downloaded(old suggested fix for this problem)= did nothing

    opened all suggested ports on my router/firewall = did nothing

    tried comparability mode for win8 and win7 and ran as admin on both the launcher and game= did nothing

    changed my IP address /router and network cards MAC address= did nothing

    tried all of these thing combined= did nothing

    downloaded a fresh copy on a brand new laptop that has never had the game installed on it= same issue..login timed out.
