Why is Naj-Caldeesh so grossly overtuned in normal?
Please, understand that I'm all for having challenging content in vet and HM, so don't reply with the usual L2P nonsense. It's been great fun to tackle vNC blind with a bunch of friends. But now that collides with the reality: when it pops as RND, there is 80% chance that the group will dissolve right off the bat. Of the rest, 4/5 of the groups don't clear. Overall, i have 1/10 success in RNDs there, no matter what is my role, my DPS or how good am i at tanking or healing it. Honestly, I'm better off playing it solo, at least it's 100% clear. Unfortunately, it doesn't reward the 10 transmutes.

But these days it is really comfortable to organise inventory. Well, at least for me with my 12 character non ESO+ account. There are just a couple of habits that one needs to cultivate and there will never be any inventory bloat.
1) Know your build's gear. Don't experiment, that's what the PTS is for.
2) Use the sticker book, don't hoard gear. With 1500 transmute crystals it is possible to make 60 pieces of gear at once. That is 5 characters!
3) Get all the free storage space. Bank (240), Inventory (200 per character, 10 characters are free), Storage Chests (360).
4) Use motives, plans and recipes when you get them. Sell them at once, if you know them.
5) Use up your consumable materiels. Craft potions, glyphs and food to sell them on guild stores. The good ones sell like candy. The others mostly sell as raw mats for good gold. Only the provisioning mats that are not used for commonly used food and for daily crafting writs need to be sold to regular merchants, 5 gold apiece.
6) Use Houses for storing furnishings, not the bank.
7) Hoarding is bad for mental health. Sell like crazy! Use Master Merchant or Tamriel Trade Centre to know real value and fill up all of your 30 slots in every one of your guilds.
Remember: The bank inventory is limited to 240 slots, but the amount of gold is limited to 2.1 billion.
There is more, ofc. But these are the most important.
I know you're trying to help, but this actually highlights just how bad the inventory problem is. If we have to plan and play around inventory management, then there's a problem with inventory.

Unfortunately this wouldn't work since not all classes are behind due to raw numbers.
Lets take a look at sorcerer for example:
- It's tooltips are already very good for most of it's abilities
- it has a lot of sustain already
- decent healing
- It can also technically be built to tank with the right build
So why is it behind on live compared to the refreshed classes and sub-classing?
- It's abilities are very clunky to use (unlisted/long cast times, animation delays, bugs, etc.)
- It lacks cleave within it's kit
- Many abilities/passives are doubling down on things that aren't needed
- Many abilities are not synergistic with each other/how the class functions
- It lacks buff/debuff access (still no breach debuff and only stamsorc has major prophecy/savagery)
- It lacks a lot of the secondary effects on skills that other classes skills have that enhance their skills well beyond what their tooltips show.
On top of this, U41 showed us why just simply buffing the numbers won't work. ZOS did this for sorc during that patch and the class was very strong, but the numbers increases required to make up for the issues above were just too much, so the class had to be nerfed again because it was too strong in certain aspects/content.
Another example of this is necromancers:
- It's tooltips are technically equal to equivalent abilities from other classes
- It technically has a lot of buffs/debuffs in it's kit
- It has a lot of unique interactions
- It has cleave
- It has secondary effects
So why is Necro so far behind? It comes down to:
- clunky abilities due to awkward cast times, slow projectile speeds
- abilities that are not designed with mobility in mind
- thematic self debuffs that aren't needed to balance the class anymore
These 2 classes aren't suffering from things that a simple numbers buff can fix. They need refreshes because the numbers buffs required are just not feasible for a balanced game (even if everything was OP, these would have to be even more so to keep up).
This is also why things like dummy parsing (or spreadsheet balancing) should not be the only way to determine if a class is up to par or not and why this method of balancing that has been used (by players and ZOS alike) to call for or determine what (if any) changes need to be made over the past 6+ years has completely messed up so much. Sorcerer on the trial dummies looks like one of the most OP classes in the game, but since it lacks cleave, it lacks group support/utility, it lacks many buffs/debuffs, once those things become required (like in actual content), sorcerer just vanishes entirely because it has none of those things that help in actual content, things that Arcanist, DK and Plar have plenty of, hence why they are the main classes brought in as DPS classes for actual content while Sorcerer is not despite sorcerer parsing equally or higher than those classes on the trial dummy.

The inventory issue is a key reason people quit the game. It literally drives people away.
I’d honestly prefer that the crafting bag was included in the base game. Give me - as a long term ESO+ subscriber - some other benefit to replace it.
Ultimately I would rather keep players in the game.

The West Weald maps were leftovers from when I had originally completed the zone codices. They were collected after digging up treasure from other stray zone maps.
Me and at least one housing friend really wanted to unlock the Colovian Tapestry, Worn – until we realized that was impossible over a year ago.
That person was an amazing builder, but Idk if they are even playing anymore or entirely moved on to other games, and from what they've told me, it's in part due to the Map/Antiquities grind. They're not the only one and it bums me out.
Some might argue that just a handful of people won't matter to a big company, but some of those "just a handful" were community members whose builds inspire many others – and even nudge us buy Crown houses we weren't previously interested in, only because they sparked something for us. FWIW, in case anyone with a say in these things is reading.

Agreed. Drop chances should be the same for all leads necessary to complete the codex entry, and with the ever increasing size of the lead pool they really need to be curated.
ETA drop chance for leads locked behind treasure map chests should also be increased - there shouldn't be a double RNG penalty involved.

30 or 180 days doesn't matter when you can't get a lead.

I never encountered any other lead for mythical to be so bad like that one.
This is truly mythical item as it doesn't exists.
My hope is that one day it will show up at one weekly vendor.

The only good thing about Vile Manse is when is empty of other players you can farm Colovians who leave a lot of gold behind them so at least you can fast farm gold.

I tried so many times to get this lead, the last missing part, opened probably 100+ treasure chests, still nothingI can not get the lead for Moras whispers in Treasure Chests inside the Vile Manse Public Dungeon. Running it over and over. It’s like dead man’s hallow all over again. What a nightmare that lead was.

This is truly mythical item as it doesn't exists.

Furnishings leads should be a one and done (or for multipart items like crafting stations one complete and done.) Then you can buy subsequent Furnishings at the achievement vendor. No one is getting OP because they bought 10 Colovian tapestries.

The whole point of challenge mode is to go in yourself solo lol. Isn't this like how some people hate summons in dark souls cos it makes the game too easy? Just DON'T USE IT THEN.
