Do we really need to discuss the difference between real, sentient living and breathing beings and fictional non-sentient non-living creatures now?

It's a callback to a previous discussion we had with the Op about oakensoul and 1 bar builds, their combat effectiveness in veteran and hard mode content and why some like and dislike. The op has realized that what he thought might be a bit untrue and was sending a mea maxima culpa to those he argued with. The conversation got contentious at times and I applaud the op for being able to stand up and say they were mistaken.
He may have been mistaken, but now he's gone so far the other way and is calling an item useless when it has some uses. Just not the ones he thought.

I wondered this myself. Why is it necessary for PvP to ruin the visual look of the werewolves with big glowing marks, when no other build has dead giveaways like that?
If I'm a werewolf hunting in the woods, it's going to be pretty hard to hunt and stalk my prey if I'm a glowstick. Kind of ruins a lot of RP.
If nothing else, why not just leave the marks enabled when PvP is enabled but turn them off otherwise?

The decision to nerf the most popular Crit Resistance sets without touching Crit Damage is a truly bizarre choice.
The playing field was already tilted wildly in favor of Crit Damage and you have now made the situation even worse. Which is the precise opposite of what most PvP folk have been asking for over the last many patch cycles.
Also, ZOS: where is the Crit Resistance Mundus? Why is Sturdy Horn still unusable and costing a crazily high 250 ult? Can we please un-nerf Impen as a trait? How about Major Enervation as a debuff? Please toss folk a bone to combat the Crit Damage inflation we have experienced over the last several years.

Hard agree. Thankfully, at least from the class refresh bullet point descriptions, the upcoming refresh will address the class fantasy in a big way.
From what it says, it looks like Necromancer will become what it always should've been: a class designed around summoning and maintaining a tiny swarm of temporary minions, with the focus being on THEM and on corpse generation/consumption, rather than on YOU being essentially just a blue-and-black themed wizard.
It's a shame that the refresh is only happening at the end of next year, but I can only assume that they're not working on each refresh one at a time. They're likely working on all of them simultaneously and the necro refresh is particularly all-encompassing, requiring more time.
Regardless, I really hope the refresh is worth it, because I'm just about at the end of my tether (heh) with necro's class fantasy in ESO. It just doesn't feel like a necromancer at all. I hoped that spellcrafting would fix it by letting us just make our own skeleton summon spell, but then spellcrafting was released in a weak, neutered form. Then I hoped subclassing would fix it by letting us mix and match any abilities we wanted to at least replicate a necromancer class fantasy, but then subclassing was released in a weak, neutered form where you can only use a certain number of other class's skill lines. This upcoming refresh is the last hope man...

For DK, the class mastery Lead From the Front grants Major Berserk, and basically makes sorcerer's unique ultimate in a trial setting useless. Why summon an atronach when you can get Standard of Might and Major Berserk from the same buff toon? I don't really like this because DK already has a unique group damage boosting ult. It's kinda the same thing where adding more sources of Major Vuln has made necro's ult less special.
For Templar, Judgment’s Brand is too restrictive. Obviously it incentivizes players to use the multi-hit jabs. Unless the tooltip is wrong, "damage done" increases apply to each hit, similar to the Draugurkin set. So any single hit spammable like Dark Flare is disadvantaged. Also the Templar-only skill condition means that Templar is pigeonholed to Templar only skills. No other class has such a skill restriction on their class masteries. Every other class gets all damage boosts that apply to the character itself. Either this mastery should be nerfed but applies to all damage, or the condition is changed, such as boosting magic and physical damage only, to open up other spammable options: e.g. weapon spammables like Traveling Knife, Uppercut, Focused Aim, Elemental Weapon, or even Radiant Destruction as a spammable (meme but why not?)

After giving it a try, I can say that I largely overall enjoy and/or find anything I dislike acceptable, save for two aspects.
Firstly: The White werewolf having pink skin and white claws looks very off-putting. At least the nose should be dark colored like the other colors, and the claws should be black/dark colored as well.
Secondly: The glowing markings for the two morphs. I knew this was coming for the sake of PvP, but they're so distracting and takes away from an otherwise fairly decent model, and stand out garishly so, especially the red berserker ones. Could something be done about this?

The leap is not a regular skill, it's an ultimate... Which is a bit different to a regular skill. It's meant to feel like an ultimate.

But i agree a ultimate should feel like and ultimate and should be strong. Sayinh that my problem with leap is that sometimes the opponent gets stuck until the animation on leap is over and then comes the knockback so its almost a guarantee that your next attack also would hit the target. In pvp and when outnumbered that could often be a death sentence. I dont know if that is working as intended or if its a bug tho, but rest of how both morph of leaps i working and dmg and etc is perfectly fine for me.
Leap has an auto-snare of 100% that fixers you in place while the gap-close fires. It is cheap and dumb and should be fixed, which, I think, is agreed upon by basically everyone.
Better yet, Leap should be ground-targeted rather than player-targeted. That would be a vast improvement both for use and counterplay.

Free Major Heroism and Major Brittle on your enemies from Warden.
Tundra’s Maw: This passive upgrades the Chilled status effect to also apply Major Brittle for 2 seconds upon application.
Nature’s Bounty: This passive upgrades rank 2 of Nature’s Gift to grant the healed target Major Heroism for 4.5 seconds and an additional 250 Magicka and Stamina.
Extra 15% HP shields on Shielded targets from Pure Sorc.
Sphere of Influence: This passive causes your damage shield abilities to grant an additional damage shield to the target for 3 seconds that absorbs up to 15% of their Max Health as damage, scaling with 25% of the higher of your Max Magicka or Health. Targets also gain 150 Health, Magicka, and Stamina Recovery for 4 seconds.
This surely is the pinnacle of balance.
