For all dungeons that drop motifs, their motif achievements are located within the categories for their source dungeons.

For trials, this is inconsistent:

• Craglorn (HRC/AA/SO): It's in the Crafting category.
• HoF/CR/SS/KA/RG: It's in the same category as the rest of the trial's achievements, similar to dungeon motif achievements.
• MoL/DSR/SE/LC/OC: It's in the General category of their DLC (e.g., Thieves Guild, High Isle, etc.).

Half the DLC trials have motif achievements grouped with the rest of the trial's achievements, and the other half (the oldest and four newest DLC trials) have their motif achievements grouped with the other motif achievements from the DLC.

Personally, I think the motif should be associated with the source content, esp. since that's how it's done for all the dungeons. So I would suggest moving the motif achievements for MoL/DSR/SE/LC/OC to their trial category. And I would also suggest moving the achievement for Celestial Style Master to Trials > General.

There... are unique armor and weapon styles though?

The Brutal Mercenary armor style:

and Torment's Cut weapons:

(all 10 weapons, plus a second version of each called Fire's Torment that adds embers around them)

And you get a couple of unique skill styles, one of which is going to make me grind to 100 for just that.

Agree. Only having the glow be active with battlespirit would be ideal, since PVP is the only reason the morphs really need to be distinguished, imo.

I was skeptical of the model at first when it was shown with the A-pose last week, but seeing it in-game, I have no complaints anymore. Everything looks and feels so good to use. My only feedback so far is that some of the kill moves feel janky when returning to the default idle animation. The glow markings were unexpected, but I actually do like them. I've seen mixed feelings on them and perhaps an optional skill style to tone it down similar to what was just done with molten armaments.

It was only added last minute during the PTS as a bandaid since pure DK wasn't performing as well as they hoped. It was purposely inflated as per their notes as a stop gap until they figured out a better solution. The implementation brought about concerns as to how exactly it improves pure DK when it only required base DK, aka, people were still subclassing which defeats the purpose of the class refresh. It also disproportionately gave Ardent Flame much more power than Earthen Heart or Draconic Power despite the design intent shifting to making all 3 lines good for all roles. Suffice it to say, everyone knew it wasn't going to stay long term.

After U49, Gilliam during the dev stream said he had been working on the Masteries for 3 weeks straight which puts it shortly after the implementation of the DK damage done whip changes.

Stands to reason if it was inflated and considered temporary, added last minute, intended to promote pure classing, and functionally has a worse implementation than that of what Class Masteries do, it was always intended to be replaced.

Whip and Lash are the strongest spammables in the game right now, they don't need the damage done multipliers to compete.

If you were subclassing, sorry, but yeah you're losing some power, that's intended long term.

If you were pure classing, you'll more than make up for it via Inexorable Descent's +10% damage done and Wildfire Embers unique stacking dot.
