4v4v4 deathmatch = best bg mode in eso
4v4v4 chaosball = an ok mode, needs a snare to ball holder
4v4v4 relic = possibly redeemable mode, needs relics moved to central location and cap point near your base
4v4v4 flags = awful mode, please delete
4v4, 8v8 deathmatch = good in theory but usually very lopsided
4v4, 8v8 objectives = ok in theory but facing same issues

Runs from April 20 through April 27 on PTS.
The Whitestrakes Mayhem live event has seen several changes to its length and design as an update coming this summer. August will mark the first time we are running the new "One Week Whitestrakes" and we can't wait for your feedback and notes on this venerable PvP throwdown.
What is Whitestrakes Mayhem?
At its heart, Whitestrakes remains the same. When the event is live Cyrodiil, Battlegrounds, and Imperial City combat offer a number of additional rewards. Fighting in those zones gives +100% Alliance Points and +100% Experience, as well as +100% Tel Var stones from most sources. All harvesting in Cyrodiil drops additional resources as well.
The vendor called "the Golden" will still make an appearance on the weekend of Whitestrakes Mayhem. She'll be accompanied by a brand new assistant, so you can purchase both amulets and rings from among their beautifully gilded inventories.
Completing PvP quests and engaging in PvP combat will earn you Pelinal's Boon Boxes along with your Rewards for the Worthy containers. These event-only reward boxes offer some tantalizing benefits both new and old!
What's changed?
Whitestrakes is now a one-week event. It no longer gives out Trade Bars (formerly event tickets) through any of its activities while it is live.
The Impresario will be live while Whitestrakes is up so that players that want to acquire past Whitestrakes Mayhem rewards can do so. There's an enormous number of style motifs that will become available via the Impresario and Philus Dormer in the new version of Whitestrakes Mayhem, so keep your eyes open for trade bar opportunities between now and then.
Going forward, any new Whitestrakes Mayhem rewards will be focused through the Pelinal's Boon Boxes.
Why did Whitestrakes Change?
In short, so that the Whitestrakes live event can act as a more lightweight, "drop-in" style activity, we can run several times a year.
As part of our broader Seasons-based strategy we want to try to take different approaches on events both new and old, as you'll see with High Seas of Tamriel later this year.
Our current plan is to run Whitestrakes in August and November of this year, and then roughly "once every three months" in 2027. This is our current plan in April of 2026 and - as with so many things in life - is subject to change.
As part of this change, Pelinal's Boon Boxes have received a bit of a glow-up in terms of their contents.

I'm personally fine with the current speed cap, including for werewolf, as there's a lot of fringe cases you have to keep in mind. Including PvP, but also another thing nobody mentioned yet.
Since the timer doesn't drop out of combat, this would make werewolf 100% meta for farming mats in the starter zones to beat other players to it. I dunno about you guys, but while I would enjoy that in a bubble, it's not fair to other players, and thus one major reason I'd have to say this isn't a good idea.
I also rather not remove Werewolf ability to harvest at all, so I think this is something best left be.
I'm thinking about this a bit more - wouldn't a streaking max speed build be the best currently then?
Streak is actually really bad for material gathering (beyond just the 1 second stutter it has), because casting streak draws your weapons so to interact with a node you need to sheath your weapons (which takes another second) before you actually interact with the node, so using streak to gather materials is much slower than just moving at speed cap with weapons always sheathed.
Ring of the Wild Hunt mythic has been best for me for resource gathering. +45% movement speed (so basically always at cap even when not sprinting) and just running node to node to gather materials.
The only time streak is useful is if there's a super niche area with a gap to cross for the most efficient path that would otherwise need a longer route to run around, but those area's are typically not very efficient for material gathering, even with streak since they don't really have many nodes (or densely packed nodes) like starter zones or a few other areas.
It appears that a resource gathering meta already exists. Lets shake that meta up. Werewolf speed!

Daedric prey affects some things
Class Script affects different things
Beacon of Oblivion affects different things again
I have no idea what interactions Necropotence or Unleashed Ritualist have
It's all weird and hard to work out what works and what doesn't.
To add to that, I hope they're able to balance pets in a way that lets them remove the "when you don't have a pet active" condition on things. To be just banned from specific interactions feels bad.
The same to goes for when things are "when you have a pet active"
I think it's a good idea for both options to bring various things to the table, rather than just either option being excluded.
Fair, but then Necropotence and Unleashed Ritualist would need to be reworked.
I always kind of equated Unleashed Ritualist as the pet version of Deadly Strike, which was why I didn't call out "when you have a pet active" myself
