Wow. I have never experienced something as much of a mess as the Writhing Fortress is.

First off, even before getting in there I saw Prince Azah by the Meridian Lens talking about what a great victory it was - so that's weird right off the bat.

Then getting in there with everyone else in the middle of battle, I had no idea what really was happening. I heard Raz talking about levers and others talking about stones, but I didn't even see what those were. So I feel like I was missing most of the story going on around me.

I apparently got the title of Wall Breaker, but I have zero idea what I actually did to achieve that.

This weekend, the Golden Vendor offers:

• Automaton's Necklace (Necklace, Robust, 200,000 gold / 375,000 AP)
• Death-Dancer Amulet (Necklace, Robust, 125,000 gold / 225,000 AP)
• Icy Conjurer's Necklace (Necklace, Arcane, 200,000 gold / 375,000 AP)
• Kargaeda Set (Guise / Mask / Visage, Infused / Impenetrable, 100,000 gold / 200,000 AP)
• Nazaray Set (Guise / Mask / Visage, Infused / Impenetrable, 100,000 gold / 200,000 AP)
• Necklace of Morihaus (Necklace, Healthy, 125,000 gold / 225,000 AP)

So... after relogging, doing several reloadui, relogging again, leaving and re-entering the instance, relogging, dying, relogging, leaving the instance, shopping at the lux furniture trader, relogging and re-entering the instance... I finally managed to find one that worked.
Now Skordo isn't in the camp to finish up... >.>

To be clear, I want more engaging content. I don't want more one-time locations. It seems like a waste of development effort when there's less permanent content being released.

Reading through all kinds of ESO forums, it's clear that the community (TESO) is often very skeptical about Zenimax's announcement that it will implement cross-play after all – contrary to earlier statements that this was not technically or economically feasible.
Players are questioning whether this new commitment is credible, especially after trust was further shaken by the recently criticized in-game event.

Where exactly are the technical and structural hurdles?
Crossplay naturally requires a fundamental restructuring of the game architecture, as the game was not originally designed for it. Merging the platforms, each with two regions (NA/EU), involves a massive technical effort.
I see potential name conflicts as well and server stability after the merge as particularly critical issues.

We accuse ZOS of not being transparent enough. Why...? Should be clear:
Although it has been confirmed that crossplay is being worked on, there are no concrete details or timelines. Many players perceive this as a delaying tactic. The long history of non-responses and vague statements has severely damaged confidence in the development.

And what economic and social consequences could this have?
A potential cross-play server could further deplete the console player population, as users could switch to PC -especially if cross-save or item transfer is enabled. There are also concerns that PC players would have an advantage with add-ons, which could lead to imbalances in PvP and the economy.
So what are my realistic expectations?
Although crossplay is now considered technically feasible, i expect that implementation will take a very long time - comparable to other complex updates such as the swimming horse feature, which took nine months.

I think a complete migration to PC servers would be sad and radical, but it would be a much simpler solution and probably one that would work better.

Please take a moment to study this fine apology (and compensation!) by Ludia for a recent debacle. Learn something from it and try again. "We see and acknowledge" is not enough.

Possible bug? In Xul-Katima, my wifes main fell off a bridge and died due to environmental damage. Cannot recall to a wayshrine (getting location not found message). Can't resurrect here. Can't "get me unstuck" getting same "location destination not found" message. Can't try "get me unstuck" again because it's on cooldown. Anyone else having this. I didn't find it in the bug section.

Update - if this happens to you, queue for a dungeon. It'll get you unstuck.

I don’t want more disappearing content because before Subclassing was confirmed I had started 6 more characters beyond the 3 I already had so that I would have at least one of every class. I started them with the Gold Coast and Hew’s Bane areas first before doing just the very beginning of the main quest but before I go to The Harborage I have been running all of them throughout all of the base game alliance zones; one after the other. So since they weren’t story wise up the proper point I haven’t used any oif them for the new content this year. But by the time their stories bring them to the proper point in the role playing timeline the Writhing Wall will never be and I am not even sure how much of the Season of the Worm Cult will be here either. When this is over will a new quest line be added to Solstice as the reason to go if the worm cult is gone? Plus having disappearing components certainly lowers the desire to start from the beginning again at any point. I still need an imperial character but holding out in the hopes that they would create a new class. I love the idea of time moving forward because if you think about it; Tamriel has had a horrible 2E Year 582. In that one year almost every “evil” daedric prince has attacked at least one of the zones not to mention all of the human plots. I mean that is a very busy year.

PC-EU has multiple Fortress instances that are bugged on escorting the Infernium. At the last Mystical Barrier before the West boss encounter, after the barrier has been taken down, the Infernium does not advance.
