If you recall the name at some point, that sounds very helpful and maybe less mind-numbing than 1000 overland mobs.

Just looked it up. The Unfinished Dolmen world boss in the southernmost portion of the map.

That, and Wrothgar is lousy with stuff (especially critters) to kill. Hew's Bane has those nests that spawn a lot of flies, though those have been tamed down compared to how they used to be.

I got a different one (about doing a specific number of tasks while grouped) and I'm wondering if that's correct or a translation mistake or bug, as the seasonal tasks look like they're actually supposed to be the same for everyone?

Worked fine for me and I bought a bunch of stuff. I felt it was intuitive that I was in the process of buying one way or another after I quick-clicked at first. Only took once to realize I had to hold it, and that was without reading a tip that said "hold" lol.

I only figured it out by accident. And I didn't see anything that said "hold". Only the keybind that was very confusing.

Me and everyone who sub per year are now forever behind as we're always going to miss a few points until the next year subscription goes out, while people who just subbed in January will get all points as far as I have read.

I'm usually pretty tolerant of the times when the dice just don't quite roll in my favor for these sorts of things, but this one stings. Feels slimy and sleazy on a level massive even for an MMO. There's no way to get single premium tokens, and no use for less than 12 tokens, so they've really managed to target the most devoted and long-term players to screw over in the most arbitrary of ways. The whole "rewarding faithful players" dialog around it really feels like a slap in the face.

Technically there is a way to get single tokens: sub for a single month of ESO+

With everyone having a sub that starts/ends at different dates, they did have to pick a starting point somewhere and it would inevitably have screwed over some people. I'm surprised that they used January as the starting point instead of using April as the start, since the Seasonal model started that the beginning of April, so they technically did give everyone four extra months of leeway.

Having any amount of tokens that isn't 12, is useless for a year sub. I wouldn't care if I had to wait longer to get my full set of 12, atleast I knew I would get it then.. but now as I subbed my yearly plan in October, I am sitting here with 9 points that will forever be behind regardless of what I do. Once I get to October of this year, i will take points from the renewal to use on one tome and then be back to square one, sitting with less than 12, when it should be 0. I will forever have lost 1 tome basically.

Keep in mind that because I dont have the full 12, I will not be able to use it on the next few tomes, meaning my choice is limited now to either buy the one only at the end of the year or save it back and wait til the year after.

They could've just given the points out based on the subscription plan you currently had after January, regardless if it started last year. As it was said above, it clearly states what subscription plan you have in bold writing, so its not so hard to verify that.

The whole pitch for this update was to prevent FOMO.. maybe am just too old now and have stuck with this game for far too long.

I have a sub that renews in May. I got 1 cache. That’s it. What happened to the 3 from Jan-March? Put in a ticket it was closed and still no tokens. @ZOS_Kevin @ZOS_GinaBruno

Yes, 5 per week. You can save them to a max of 12, afaik.
