U50 Feedback Thread for Classes and Abilities
This is the official feedback thread for any combat or class changes coming in Update 50. After you have a chance to try out different combat scenarios, let us know what you think of the current balance and changes. We have a separate thread specifically for Werewolf due to the number of changes being made. You can find that link here.
For context regarding timeline for changes, stats or number changes for skills are changes we can make within the PTS cycle. If the changes or suggestions require more technical changes, we will take those to the combat team and update timelines based on what the team is able to do.

So I've been logging into and playing on PCNA from overseas with no issues whatsoever. What you're describing could be any number of issues that do not stem from ESO's network infrastructure, however pernickety about packets it may be.
Based on your descriptions, I think it would be best for you to try out a gaming VPN so you can at least rule out network routing issues; WTFast, Exitlag, and Mudfish (my favourite) all have free trials.
After that, if the issues persist, we can then be sure that any network issues originate closer to your geographical location, anywhere between you and your local ISP. That includes your own modem, router, and network interface.
If we are talking about crashes (not disconnects), then we can for sure narrow things down to your very own PC. At that point, if disabling your addons and reinstalling your game don't work, you should look into reinstalling drivers, repairing your system files, and perhaps even considering the possibility of having hardware issues.

If you do all the weekly challenges, the tome caches will never be used, so the caches you get as a ESO+ subscriber are completely worthless.
Additionally, the premium plus reward is only a costume we pay 15€ for, since the 2 additional caches are worthless. Of course, this is a no go. Was is so difficult to add some extra good stuff ?
Finally, converting tome points into gold at the end of the season feels insulting for veteran players, even at 1:10. Many players will learn their lesson when this will be pushed through; there will be far less engagement with the weekly challenges after this.
Also, in the EU we pay in € not in $, which makes the cost for us about 18% higher. As usual.

My understanding is they don't need the servers offline to work on fixing problems, only to upload fixes they've already created.
The way some games do it, which I think ESO does as well is to have several copies of the game. They develop bug fixes or new stuff and load it into an internal test version (which is identical to the actual game, except we don't have access to it) to make sure it's working and correct any problems, then it goes to the public test server for wider bug testing and feedback, and while that's happening they build up a new version of the game with all the updates and bug fixes that are working and are scheduled to go live. Which means the only part that happens during the maintenence downtime is overwriting the previous version with the new one.
So keeping the game offline for longer wouldn't help at all. It might actually delay future bug fixes because during that time they would only have their internal QA to find bugs, not all the players on live.

Your third post on this thread prompted a temporary solution to take items you don't want which you can leave to rot in your collections as the notification will remain. Well, you either get the notification or you get the reward currently.
As a side note, make downvotes an option please ZOS.
Stop picking a fight with me. I already plainly said i do not want them and that they are offensive to me. Suggestion i do the very thing thats said in OP is harassment.

I agree with the option to hide the golden pursuits notification would be nice.
As a temporary solution, couldn't you just take the rewards and never see the popup again once completed? You know this won't be fixed any time soon, and from the words you're typing this is causing great distress.

yah i think if you need your curiousity satisfied, there's calixo's house of curiousities in skyrim to meet your taste. I'm of the opinion that asking someone their reason's why they are offended is just trolling for an argument. No thanks to that.

As if killing 1000 enemies plus 100 bosses wasn't enough to keep up with, now there's a short term Golden Pursuit. No, neither of those things fit in MY normal play schedule.
Can we have some down time? When I can choose what **I** want to do?
Can we just have some time with only 1 thing? Not constant new quests. new zones. etc? (while older zones remain bugged)
I am so burnt out on the game already, please ZOS, just let us PLAY sometimes!

I know most of you already said this but I also opened all my caches at once, AFTER reading the guide on the ESO site specifically about Tome Points with a publication/most recent update date of March 31st. Then, YESTERDAY (APRIL 9th) they did NOT update their Tamriel Tomes Guides, but instead released more information, in what they are calling the "Developer Update" which is the ONLY place I have found on their website mentioning the 2k cap. I do not want to seem difficult. I enjoy the game and am a longtime Elder Scrolls fan but seriously, WHY?!?! I read the "guide" and it was not mentioned. It wasn't until a week after the start of the whole Tome Points thing that they published anything about the rollover in any place that is relatively easy to find and even then they still didn't update the Tamriel Tomes Guide, which supposedly tells you all you need to know to get started with them.

I always have the same feeling when playing in IA. Maybe they will do something like this with the class rework?
I was hoping, but unfortunately there's nothing like that in PTS. But we'll see what happens in the future...
For now, it's only Class Mastery passives coming for pure-class builds. But sorcerer will be reworked in the future, eventually all classes will be reworked.
