I played maybe 60 minutes, the game crashed 4 times while weaving. Completely random. For context, crashing on live and previous PTS for me is next to unheard of.. like once a year so this is very odd.
Idk what you did, but these animation changes feel rough, like an alpha, work in progress.. except, this game is 11 years old and there's nothing wrong with the original animations.
Have you ever asked yourself if a 1% performance boost (probably even less) is worth it for the -100% negativity this will receive from your playerbase? This is the 2nd time you said we won't feel or see any difference, yet it's extremely obvious it's been messed with.
@epic-buttkkr did a side by side in their video and you can see it's night and day.
Most of the weapons were passable, but 2H is beyond saving. It stutters like crazy. The others are okay, but they don't feel or look smooth, many of them stutter randomly too, as if they're missing key frames in the animation so the characters weapon jumps from position to position.
Also I can't quite explain it, but sometimes skill casts don't happen when you expect them too randomly. The same way it was a problem with U46 pts. I don't know how to replicate it, but it feels off.

Honestly, one of the things I'd really like to see is to just make Eidetic Memory account-wide.
I get it, I'm really one of those people who favors keeping things character-specific, but really. The Eidetic lorebooks (NOT the Shalidor's Library ones) are specifically there for collectors, always have one or more bugged, and honestly take up a lot of space (don't they want to conserve server space, and they're tracking all of these per character?)
The Shalidor ones and the motifs/recipes have perfectly good reason to be character specific. Not the Eidetic ones.

Hi All, please continue to flag if you run into this issue. If you could list the dungeon you ran into the issue on, that would be helpful as well.
What's the deal with the gold event boxes so rarely dropping a new style page related to the event? Why are we getting mostly old style pages from past events in our gold event boxes? Is this intentional?

I think another related part of the issue is that the game is not bringing in, and definitely not retaining, new players.
Since we don't have access to much real data, this is just my opinion from what I see and experience in game... but like for example, my social guild used to get dozens of new players every couple weeks. They'd stick around, ask questions, make their first builds, ask for help with bosses and dungeons, join guild trials and activities, etc. That has now slowed to a trickle and worse, they don't stick around. Literally 99% of them quit around 200-300cp, often while they are making or shortly after making their first real build.
Point is, they really don't stay long enough to start participating in the economy, so there's just no real demand for the stuff that these players used to buy when they moved from being "new" to being more established players.
Meanwhile the pace of new "stuff" being added has slowed considerably - most vets have nearly everything they want already and don't participate in the economy that often (except you see brief spikes for a short time when a new motif or some new plans drop). All the desirable stuff long-time players would want is in the crown store, not the in-game economy.
The entire economy is being squeezed at both ends - there are few new players who need most of what it generates, and it generates few things that vet players would need.
Tl;dr, the number of players participating in the economy is falling and new players aren't replacing them, and I suspect this is a *major* source of falling demand. As for what JHart has brought up - perhaps offering these players some better sources of early gold income might help them start participating in the economy sooner, but I'm not sure if that will, in and of itself, address whatever the underlying issues are that cause many of them to quit the game at fairly low cp.

Would you like an event that gave us more transmute crystals as a reward?
I love this undaunted event but I dont need anymore keys, would have been nice to get double the transmute crystals, especially since we have subclassing now..I know I'm making new builds so need more transmutes.

I think that ZOS needs to work on increasing the player population. I think that game economy is supply versus demand. If the active player count is dropping, I think that causes the demand to fall faster than the supply.

Vengeance Server
No one plays it!
How did you not learn your lesson the first time the server was up?

To further compound the annoyance, you disable all other cyrodiil instances!!!

greyhost, you have a server that consistently nears the population limit during regular service hours. then, you implement the vengeance campaign and the servers go empty. the population went from NEAR FULL TO NEAR EMPTY. WHY DID YOU BRING THAT DEAD THING BACK TO LIFE?
Im beyond amazed. not just that you made the vengeance campaign, but that you didn't learn your lesson the first time.
the fact no one plays it defeats the fundamental reason you made it. you cant test performance limits on an empty server no one plays!!!!!

ZOS is mandating vengeance as the only option for Cyrodiil PvP right now.

I wonder how many "tests" before the PvP main crowd just stops logging on. It feels like ZOS is cutting us off and pushing us out the door and it's not even closing time yet. Already more than half my PvP guild stops playing vengeance after the first couple/few days. Quite a few PvP mains have already given up because they see the writing on the wall.
This is bad man. The future of ESO PvP looks like it's winding down fast and that's how ZOS wants it.
