Sounds like something that could become pretty annoying pretty quickly in a big shared space with hundreds or thousands of players? Personally don't see why I'd be interested in leaving or reading such messages.

But hey if it's something popular and zos can be convinced it's worth adding, my request would be that it be implemented in a way that's not intrusive / can be toggled off or ignored by those with no interest.

We're planning to make a change to this in Update 50 before Season Zero ends, where Tome Points in excess of the roll-over cap are automatically converted to gold after the reward auto-claimer is complete. We believe this helps provide value to excess Tome Points in the transition to a new Season. We are still working to determine this ratio and will update you when we do."

This is 100% missing the key point of feedback that has been provided on this topic.

1) There is no reason to have all tome points not carry over to the next tome other then to drive FOMO purchasing. Please provide the player-friendly rationale of why tome points should not carry over that isn't "we want you to spend more money?" We either paid, or earned, those tome points. If we did not find something of value in this tome, we should be able to save it for something of value in the next tome. The auto-claimer is great, and should be opt-in, with no points expiring. That way if you know you are going to be away from game you can turn it on and not miss anything.

2)It is currently WAY too easy to open the caches without blaring sirens that many will go to waste. It also SHOULD NOT BE POSSIBLE for you to Open More Caches then there are Tome Points to SPEND on this tome. For example. If I have 14 caches, I should not be able to open all 14 if the sum total of all purchasable items in the tome is < 28,000 tome points. You acknowledge the problem in this thread and offer a 1 time refund, but you do not provide the solution. What is going to prevent this in the future? Players need to give feedback on this messaging and warning.

3) From a business perspective, it is terrible to have the only real perk of Premium + be 1 cosmetic and 2 extra tome caches when those spent tome points DO NOT carry over. Especially given that with ESO+ we will get 1 tome cache a month, so in a given season, we are already getting 6000 tome points via those monthly caches + 10 weeks of weeklys at approximately 1200 points per week. If you are absolutely INSISTENT on having tome caches NOT carry over, you need to dramatically consider improving the rewards for premium+ given its an extra $15 for basically a single cosmetic and largely useless tome caches. I regret buying Premium+ and likely will not do so again unless rewards are dramatically increased. Having a bunch of useless caches in que is not helpful to me. There needs to be a way to meaningfully spend excess tome points that is not some ludicrously low or high gold conversion - a trade bar conversion would be a MUCH smarter approach and would not negatively impact the game economy

They like double or triple nerfed how the regular drops work in those because people were defeating the novice NPCs too fast and farming way too many boxes.

Then they fixed the novice NPCs to be a little less easy to instantaneously defeat.

They did not go back to fix the drop rates on the boxes though. They just kept adding drops that were rarer than the other rare items in there.

The end result is that Tales became the one of the most unrewarding and frustrating to farm activities in the game. This lead to resentment of the card game itself and massive amounts of people dropping it, including by people who initially enjoyed it.

The resulting longer queue times and more matches against the best of the best only compounded the issues.

ZOS killed Tales before it really even got a chance with the way they handled the drops. It was always going to be niche. But they really added a lot of resentment that didn't need to be there with the way they handled the drops. Also by making it the only major feature instead of a player experience improvement for inns but that's another matter and giving it a poorly explained tutorial but those are other matters.

Tales is a lot of fun once you have the "aha!" breakthrough but it's still not worth doing all that often because the drops are terrible.

I don't know about you guys, but with a couple exceptions on overland content I am the apex predator.

Also remember that adding something like this means said messages would need to be saved server-side, meaning a massive server overhead needed to… drop a bunch of messages that people would still find a way to make lewd and giggle like a bunch of 12 year old boys?

Seriously, even though all of the words used are standard and not risqué, does anyone really think “Try Finger But Hole” means anything other than that?

Here are some requests for the Outfit System:
Some of them may be unrealistic, but i do not develop the game so i can only wish for things to be added in whichever works for ZOS.


Separate Left and Right slots for:
- Arms
- Gloves
- Boots
- Legs, unless the style is a skirt.
So that you could use Apostle, Refabricated, or Arkthzand Armory on your character's limbs to give them prosthetics on only one side instead of both.
Plus it would be awesome to use Xivkyn claws on one hand and nothing on the other.



Other Separate slots:
- Back equipment.
Such as Wings and Backpacks that some current styles have.
(Welkynar, Kwama Miner, Highrock Spellsword, Ra Gada, Khenarthi's Pride)
- Tassets.
The flaps or accessories on the side of your character's chest or legs, that usually move with the legs, and usually float with air between it and the character.
- Loincloths, flaps on the front and back.
- Belt accessories.
These items are around a Chest style's waist, not part of the Waist style.
Such as the pouches or bottles on True-Sworn and Red Rook Bandit.

Would be awesome to use Welkynar wings on Aldmeri Eagle Knight chest or use Apostle Heavy chest tassets on another chest with Apostle Heavy legs.




More Dye Channels.
3 is definitely not enough. 6, 10, or even 18 dye channels would be much better.
- Many styles have undyeable parts like fur or feathers that would be good to be able to dye.
- And it would be good to be able to choose dyes for more parts than just 3, sometimes we cannot even use all dye channels.



Underwear options.
Chest and Leg slots for Underwear in the Outfit system please,
for things like this:
- undershirt
- corset
- tights
- bodysuit
- Negligees less elaborate than the "Negligee of the Covenshrike" costume.
- the TES 1 Arena cover girl's outfit






The ability to save other collectibles to Outfit Slots, like Mounts, Adornments, Skins, and Personalities.
Please let us save other collectibles to our Outfit Slots, such as:
- Personality
- Skins
- Major and Minor Adornments
- Non-Combat Pets
- Mounts
- Head and Body Markings
- Hairstyles and Facial Hair
- Hats
- Customised Actions
- Skill Styles

Examples of outfits my main has or had:
- a Maormer outfit and i wish that i could save to it the Reefdweller Skin, Reefstrider Ornaug, Fellbraun Chub Loon pet, Royal Purple Lipstick, and various other collectibles.
- (previously) a Jester outfit that used Jester Personality, a Stick mount, Obnoxious Mute Face Paint, Catwell, and various other collectibles.
