This rollover cap should had been made much more clear - e.g. when you open the Tamriel Tomes. It needs to be more clear. I wouldn't had spent my caches had I know there's a rollover cap for sure.

The cap needs to be higher, full stop.

As it is now, Caches have a huge chance of being useless and not even something people can make full use of. Because unlocking Pages is tied to how many Points you earn, people can wind up opening five or six Caches to auto unlock up to a Page they want but then not actually spend all those Points before the end of the Season.

Auto-buyer doesn't help. Even if someone gets all the Currencies and winds up with more than 2k Points, all the auto-buyer will do is get things they didn't want. It's still wasting the Points. Yeah it's nice for people who maybe go on vacation near the end of a Season or some other irl thing happens that prevents you from actively spending Points but that likely won't be the case for most players.

It's even worse for people who use Caches but then also do Challenges, especially if those Challenges align with stuff they already do, because there are even MORE Points potentially lost.

Seriously, after a certain point people can wind up with more Caches than they can actually use because of the current cap. And then what's the point of even getting them when using them just sends off the extra over 2k into the void? Sure, someone could argue "oh it's for when you can't play or don't want to", except no, they're meant to be used when and how a person wants to. And again that argument doesn't account for Pages being unlocked as you earn Points, meaning you might not be spending what you're using because you might only be using them to get a certain Page unlocked.

The cap NEEDS to be higher so people don't waste Caches/Points AND to avoid making them obsolete after a certain point. And unless each unspent Point will convert to something like 30k Gold or so, it won't be worth as much as just upping the cap.

I really want this too. I would love for us to choose our background screen per character, including the original alliance based ones (though they might need some tweaking to make more modern). It'd also be cool if they added more for the expansions that did not have them or to fit certain themes (maybe race/class/etc).

There is a massive difference between the "1 million gold fenced" and this.

Namely, the gold fencing 1) had a progress bar, so you could gauge how long it would take to get there and 2) any contribution would count towards that goal. If you had one day where you didn't get much to sell, you still were making progress.
The way that these achievements would be the same would be to say "you need to collect 1 million scraps to make them, but every Tribute box is guaranteed to have one." And if it were like that, then I would feel better about it.

The achievement that this is most like is the monster trophy ones, since you are not guaranteed to get them no matter how much you grind. And how many people on this forum love the way those were implemented?

I just feel like tomes challenges are more work than endeavors...I don't like leaving them undone but ugh what a grind. daily endeavors were like 5 mins and done.

I still thought it was said in the beginning that we could work on a season after it passed if we purchased it. How does that work if you auto expire the points at the end of each season? Does this mean you just have to work even harder during season 2 for example to do season 2, season 1, and season 0 if you bought them but waited?

I agree with several comments above. It seems you are making the whole system overly complicated.

Agree. I'd actually like to see two new Undaunted quest givers. One to help with the DLC pledge load and another to give out WB dailies for the original game basic alliance zones.

Speaking of things to automatically claim, what about the points after completing a challenge?

This on-screen alert with manual claim is constantly interrupting what people are doing. And what's perplexing from my point of view is that you had a perfectly good way of handling this with Endeavors. The current behavior, IMHO, is a major UX regression.

And, no, "there's an addon for that" is not the right answer; something like this really should be base-game. At least give people an option in the settings somewhere.
