I agree, I was never one to religiously complete endeavors, but on the whole they were much faster and incidental to my gameplay than the new challenges. This system has eradicated any remnants I had of FOMO mentality with collectables, if they are behind content I enjoy playing then that's great, but I don't find this constant carrot-chasing fun or engaging.

I agree that chapters got to be formulaic and weren't always the best quality, but dropping them in favour of a chore list and a temporary "event zone" with a vague promise that some time later we might occasionally get a quest line doesn't feel like an improvement.

In fact it reminds me of the time a few friends and I tried suggesting to the guy who always organised our meet-ups that maybe we could eat somewhere other than a steakhouse, so he refused to go anywhere and insisted on ordering from the chicken shop round the corner instead. Pretty much the same price for much worse food, but any suggestion to change that was met with "you all said you were sick of resturants!" but I kept hoping maybe one day the opportunity would come up to order from the Indian resturant I'd wanted to go to.

And yes the solution there is to go to the resturants I like on my own and just meet with those friends socially, maybe eat beforehand. ESO has similar solutions: play other games for the story, lore and exploration and just log into ESO for the social aspects, but that's not really what I wanted and certainly not what ZOS want since it involves me spending nothing on their game.

I'd be very happy to be proven wrong, but at the moment I'm not convinced they even believe this is giving us what they thought we wanted. The whole thing looks like a cost cutting measure - stripping back to just producing a handful of rewards (mostly skins that would be 1 motif for a chaper) each "season" and occasionally throwing in one part of what we used to get, whilst charging the same price each year. Factor in the state Microsoft has got themselves into recently and it's not surprising, but doesn't give me much hope things are going to improve.

Agreed, and it's sad to see admittedly, but I also know at this point we'd be lucky to get anymore changes. I was so happy about the feedback we provided earlier, and disappointed overall about how it was taken into account.

The larger size helps but I'd have to see it in-game to fully gauge how sad I'm gonna be, especially if the audio is cartoony like two-handed and to a lesser degree, DK audio is.

For people wondering, here's the concept art we got:



Look at those long, powerful arms, broad shoulders, aggressive, fierce face, a good cross of long pointy but still wolf-like ears from a front profile. Like there's some oddness to it still but... What happened, exactly? From concept to this? The current model kind of looks stoned I won't lie.

There's unfortunately not enough players for the MMR system to work as intended. I can play on a character that hasn't touched BGs in months and still queue into a match with players I see on a character that does several BGs a day. The population is just too low.

It's unfun, especially in 8v8s, but I've come to accept that BGs is nothing but RNG and you shouldn't get mad when you're up against a team of stacked players with a healer. Those same stacked players who go 20-0 have been and will continue to get into matches where they get the short stick and go 0-10 because they were placed on the less skilled team. It's not worth getting stressed about it. 4v4s can be ruined by a healer, but from my experience, they end up being more stress free because you're not going to get zerged down as much and the team rng is better due to less players per team.

You are on many other posts commenting how you have no interest in the Tomes etc. Now a post to complain about something you have no interest in?
I am sure they will release a blue one to match the other blue.

Is the pop cap even 3 digits? Of course Vengeance enjoyers would be a minority of active PvPers, because the target audience for Vengeance is the thousands who quit or who were never able to access PvP to begin with. They're leaving GH up for the 130 that still want it.

I don't log in because forum complaints mean little if you keep playing anyway. When play numbers keep dropping, the devs take notice, like they have in making drastic PvP changes.

DK is way too OP. I find it funny how people are ok with DK pretty much being able to cast grim focus 5 times in a row, having burst damage out of this world and much more but are mad about subclassing. They are basically the same: an imbalanced mess.

They could’ve just buffed DK to a reasonable level, so they can compete even more with the pure class buffs; as much as the other classes. Instead they listened to some clueless content creators that kept saying „moaaaar buffs, not strong enough!“, completely disregarding the consequences.

Since shoulders were mentioned several times: A humanoid's shoulders are at the height of its collarbone. So basically here:



That creature doesn't have rounded or saggging shoulders; everything above that line is not shoulders, but the wolf just has a huge bull neck.

And if that neck would be reduced, you'd have the typical triangular torso shape again:



Now if those shoulders are broad enough of not, I have no opinion on that. Proportions don't look much different than on the old model, though.

What I do find weird is the hairstyle and those hair tufts on its forehead.
