Also, and I mean no disrespect, but who is @ZOS_Amy ? I've gone back through the Dev Tracker and can't find any announcement about her appointment as Community Manager - have I missed it? Was it perhaps on a live broadcast that I can only now access through a third party account I don't have? I can only assume that I've missed it, which I regret, but I admit to being somewhat confused about what is actually happening with the game these days. It certainly doesn't seem to be the one I was often accused (wrongly, in my view) of being a fanboi of these past 11 years.
Her name is Amy Schlueter, and she's worked for ZOS for at least three years. Before that, she was in Community Management at Alienware.

I have some feedback for the event, in the future if we’re going to have this massive build-up to a one time event, can it be something completely different than what we’ve been doing for the last decade?
Go here, fetch this, anchor, harrowstorm, lava vent camp defense, craft that, ect…
Could have been an opportunity for a massive horde-style clash between us and Mannimarco instead of just dailies, I don’t know. Anything would have been better, if we’re being honest.
I don't know, I agree the event is underwhelming but if they're going to delete it from the game when they decide we're done I don't want it to be anything I'll miss or want to play later on.
Except in this case it ties into the story so I do want some version of it to stay so the Solstice story isn't left broken and disjointed.

Given the effort to hype up this event I have to admit I expected something more to a just a typical dolmen farming event.
This content was definitely missed when the season first dropped. There was enough content to last a weekend and then 4mths of just dead space. Dolmen farming would have helped that, if there was something worth farming.
Nobody uses the sets from this zone so it’s all just decon fodder, and only the gold chests seem to drop anything of value… and even then it seems like it’s only 1/3 that does?
When the Halloween event drops next week I expect this overhyped event will be placed on the back burner. Only need to do the first daily to hopefully get something meaningful, any further farming is just a waste. Server first gets what… a meaningless title? Let them have it.
Even if 90% of the Halloween event is just recycled garbage at least it will have tickets for the eventual housing morph… which is 1000 times more interesting than what this event has revealed so far.

I realise O.P. loves these styles and started the thread as a thank you to ZOS. I'm glad they found something they like and hope they keep enjoying it, but I think the special effects are way over the top and they ruin it for me.
Quite disapointing, as I was looking forward to getting some crow-themed styles. If it had been just the birds and their bird-noises, I would have bought these styles for sure, 100%.
Just like I would have bought the Evergloam Indrik, if it hadn't suffered from the same purple swirls and banging noises.
And the Ardor's Devotion Senche-Raht, if had just been a hippy-like, flower-covered, longhaired Senche-raht, without obnoixious flash-and-bang summoning process and sparklefarts. And several other mounts/pets/skill styles/etc. too.
Would it not be possible to put 2 versions of these kind of things in the crownstore, one with and one without the special effects? It seems like a relatively easy way to make more money for ZOS, and gives the players more options to choose from.

It's a disappointment to me. Would've beeen the first skillstyle I bought if they had been just crows without exaggerated effects and loud exploding noises.
Crowns saved, but sadly all my wardens are still stuck using the ill-fitting Morrowind animals. Except my dunmer warden who is stuck with a random bear.

Re: ESO needs consistent balance and tuning updates (not just big patches)
Yeah, I definitely agree. I’d really to see smaller balance adjustments happen more consistently, maybe once a month or so. I’m not a fan of the current model where we only get four opportunities a year for potential combat changes.
The bigger, more impactful changes could still be reserved for those PTS cycles. But small adjustments, like increasing the damage of an underperforming skill such as Twisting Path by 10%, could easily be made in between in my opinion. It’d help keep the game feeling more responsive and better balanced overall.
