Concerns about abuse should be the real concern. The sexual, gore, harrassment or defamatory things that could be written by players without ESO review or approval are bound to go against TOS and decency standards. We get complaints about character names, now imagine their "back story or diary" being expanded upon.

The only good argument I've seen against light-attack weaving come from an accessibility standpoint, so you have hit the nail right on the head on light-attack weaving's biggest flaw. There is something to be said about technique, though, because ultimately, light-attack weaving only requires one skill input and one attack-input per second; you don't really need to spam left-click to be able to light-attack weave, so the accessibility issue is not as bad as you make it out to be.

I myself find light-attack weaving quite fluid, so I don't quite agree with you there. Besides, to address those accessibility concerns, there are extremely viable builds that have minimal weaving, and you did mention that most content can be done without weaving anyways.

I think the key here is that, ultimately, there is always going to be an inherent skill gap in any game you play, mostly gated behind APM. League of Legends, Apex Legends, Fortnite, Smash Bros, TETR.IO etc all have high skill ceilings gated behind a level of APM that would be considered inaccessible to certain disabilities, but that's just how games work. The good news is that ESO is different to those examples in that it isn't a zero-sum game; it is an MMO, and you can absolutely get help from friends and guildmates for any content you want to do!

Agreed, dyes should not be one-time use only. Increase the crown cost of the dyes if needed, but let it be unlocked permanently.

It probably sounds silly, but I'm damn thrilled about console not having to wait until weeks after PC to get the update. Free respecs is pretty cool too, but a shared release date is honestly better.

The people asking for removal of la weaving seem to often not understand the combat in this game.

In othermmos like throne of liberty or wow the "light attack" happens automaticly while u only press skills.

Do they want the same here? If u ask me that would look stupid and does not fit the combat design of eso at all, and what about heavy attacks now? How does this auto attack differentiate between this, it would also be very annoying if u where locked onto a mob, and want to attack another, i tried throne of liberty, they do it like this, its very annoying having to target switch ur auto attacks lock on. It does not flow well on console.

Do they want light attacks to be on the same gcd as a skill and treat it more like a skill? This again, must be comming from someone who barely set foot into vet dungeons, if done like this, LA would still be a part of ur rotation, u just do it on gcd instead of before a skill. It changes nothing but massively slowing down combat.

And what about sets like relequen, and others where la weaving is needed to keep up bonuses? Are u now gonna spend a stupid amount of time getting to the full 5 piece bonus? At end game this would not work. It would also affect some classes harder than others, and channeled builds would outperform pretty heavily.

Asking for changes to la is a massive overhaul of rebalancing so much at this point for nothing, or changing the game to something else
