This isn't about features, its a technical limitation, like complaining that your car can't break the sound barrier. Devs stated that the major factor in GH lag is build system calculations. So to fix the lag they had to make a new build system. The simplified mechanics kill 2 birds with 1 stone, dealing with both the lag (performance) and the ball group problem (accessibility). If you stop expecting a good product you will never get a good product

It made me think that this thread might just be on to something!
Vengeance would have got you the clear.
Vengeance PvE solves the same problems with trials and vet dungeons as it solves for PvP. So the PvE community objecting to vengeance PvE while promoting vengeance for PvP reveals their motivations.
No. The PvP community that favors of this are people who are saying in other threads that Vengeance shouldn't be a PvP campaign either.
PvE can't choose campaigns like PvP can. There is no normal mode for PvP like there already is for PvE. Additionally, the server problems aren't the same technical problems. Neither has PvE server performance been complained about at the same scale for years. So the entire thing is a false equivalency. They aren't the same thing because PvE and PvP don't have the same problems and don't function the same. Even their goals aren't the same. Things that work for PvE don't automatically work for PvP or vice versa.
Yes.
Some of us lag worse in PvE, it makes zero sense not to add the option for a Vengeance PvE if it solves performance issues. We queue for dungeons/trials, it’s a different instance than the rest of the zone right? Multiple groups can run Fungal Grotto at the same time, right? Kinda like a campaign?
PvE dungeons/trials already have a normal mode. There's no queueing into overland.

As was mentioned in one of the posts above, this is a direct response to the recent Vengeance thread and to the concern that Scenario #2 is the future of PvP.
Bingo. It's a non-starter anyway because PvE does not have anywhere close to the performance issues of Cyrodiil. And PvP players have been making it clear for years that fixing performance should be their top priority. They tried for years to do just that so it's not surprising that their tests revealed that certain solutions simply aren't feasible.
