Are you talking about ZOS saying they are resetting the MMR monthly to give people a chance on the leaderboards? (Even though leaderboards reset weekly, and Brian has been on record saying that MMR isn't tied to medal score). That was in the PVP Q&A which you linked to there.

I've seen some of Minc's posts about BG balancing, and although I disagree with him originally saying they should rework maps/spawn rules to make it easier to sit in spawn, his points about MMR resets were directly pulled from conversations we've had in guild amongst pretty much all the regular BG players on PCNA.

This may have been what the conversation was about.

I think you actually changed my mind on things. Where MMR reset is the most important overarching issue which then plays into team balance issues. Which then plays into game design issues like spawn zones as I had issues with originally. Which I dont think our views were opposing anyways, just difference in priority. Which I would now agree with you on MMR reset creating zos forced smurfing being the number one issue......Its the one reason why I hardly play BGs and the game as a whole anymore. Its too annoying to give a week of my life farming mmr every other month before I get put into fun matches.

Just looked it up. The Unfinished Dolmen world boss in the southernmost portion of the map.

That, and Wrothgar is lousy with stuff (especially critters) to kill. Hew's Bane has those nests that spawn a lot of flies, though those have been tamed down compared to how they used to be.

I distinctly remember there being a fuss about this when something like this came up for a weekly Endeavor (or was it a Golden Pursuit)?

There are three major problems here:

First, and most importantly: The overland restriction is horrible, since the last time you did this, it basically depopulated those zones of enemies and people were complaining about not being able to find enemies to kill. It makes no sense to exclude instanced content within those zones, esp. private instanced content like dungeons or arenas where players would not be competing for kills with other players (this could've been a good excuse to run vMA a few times, except that doesn't work). Right now, it forces players to compete against one another for kills, and that's incredibly frustrating.

Second: At least with Endeavors or Golden Pursuits, you can choose to do an alternative objective. Or with weekly challenges, you can reroll them. But this one? There's no reroll, no alternative options.

Finally: Why is it kill 1000, claim 1x, instead of kill 100, claim 10x? I thought that the whole point of the multi-claim system is to give people gradual progress instead of large unwieldy lump-sum all-or-nothing affairs?

And my burning question, @ZOS_Kevin, did anyone at ZOS play-test this challenge? Or read any of the player feedback the last time you had this as an Endeavor? Because it sure as hell sounds like the answer is no.

Hello! With the new class colors of blue and orange for Arcanist. Are there any word from the devs of implementing a way to also change crux colors? I really want to use the purple beam and even the blue runeblades and tentacle but the crux staying green is making the mix of colors look unpleasant to look at.
