I think 100% for empower is a baseline to at least keep it roughly where it is now. I think HA builds need more love in general including some combination of buffing empower more, buffing voidmantle, making HA take less time so you can get better rotations, increasing the duration on most empower buffs, increasing the base damage of HA, restoring trifocus or other things. Especially as other builds keep goung higher and higher, HA builds staying in place is not a great place to be.

But I'm glad they're at least doing something, and I know some of the things I mentioned wouldn't be in scope for this patch anyway.

@Prionyx On a serious note though NB is easily the second/third best pure class. It had one shot potential prior to class masteries, now it has even more crit damage.

They increased the NBs crit damage cap, now even on all impen you will be getting hit like you aren’t wearing any crit resistance

It was a cool and unique interaction/mechanic that Sorc had a long time ago. It required a lot of extra micromanagement but the reward for it was a class that had a complete (for the time) build (that could include, but didn't force, the pets).

You could run it without pets and have an insane amount of bar space (which made up for the lack of buff/debuff access and secondary effects in the sorcerer class kit) to have a complete non-pet build that was on par with the other classes, but it was also possible to slot the pets (which would be on all 3 bars) but still have enough room for all of the basics required for a build despite the pets taking up so much bar space and not providing any buffs for using them.

Only ZOS can truly say why overloads 3rd bar was removed, we players can only speculate.

In my happy little world, I'd make it dependent on race (such as "+" shaped for Bosmer), but that's not feasible I'm sure so... round.

I have a bit of feedback regarding the icons for the three Werewolf Form Skill Styles:

1. Why is Ashen depicted as grey in the icon, but the texture looks brown?
2. Why is the color of the background and eyes of each icon not accurate to what the respective textures look like? I would've expected Black to have red (because Berserker has red markings), Ashen to have blue (because unmorphed has blue markings), and White to have green (because Pack Leader has green markings). The eye color also doesn't actually change with these styles, which makes the icons misleading.
3. Why doesn't the White icon show the albino look that the texture has? Players may be expecting an arctic themed Werewolf because there's no pink in the icon.

I do have to say that I like the color changes done to the armored human half of the icons. It's a bit hard to tell in the original three icons that the right half is meant to be a human wearing armor, so I appreciate the change in color of the armor to contrast with the change in color of the werewolf's fur.


Also, regarding the Skill Stylist: Werewolf Form achievement:


Can we get the icons at each stage to show the icon of the associated Skill Style earned at that stage? The main icon could remain using this unused "Werewolf Form, Red" style graphic.

Yeah, I got frustrated and tried to unlock them all once... never again. Motifs need to auto-unlock too, was fighting with that today.

Necro’s dps issue is that it’s a dot class without proper dot support or sources. I would also prefer if Necro doesn’t purely become a disease damage class and I would like to keep the magical theming, however I’m not sure how this change is contrary to your wish of Necro moving away from dots.

If anything, the recent changes and class masteries makes it seem like zos is focusing on the corpse explosion side rather than dots.

I think Necro should have both the ability to be a dot class or focus on corpses if that’s your choice. DK doesn’t have to, and shouldn’t be the only dot class and thematically necro makes a lot of sense to also be a dot class. It just needs actual dot sources added to the kit.

Don't get me wrong, giving it a guaranteed status is great, but having it be disease makes me think necro is going to be cut down to degrade like DK was to fire. The necros blue palate imo is the better one and I am still hoping necro moves away from dots being the focus.

But this really makes it seem that zos is going to lean even harder into necro dps' main issue of "glorified dot class"
