I, like seemingly many others here, am extremely disappointed in this new zone.

the Night Market is challenging content and best handled with others. You’re not required to group, but seeking help in some form would be wise.

Most often when we see text like that it means to grab a few other people, like when you're going up against a challenging World Boss. Sometimes you can solo that boss, but it's best taken down with maybe 3 or 4 people.

Here, even full groups of 12 are having difficulty staying alive. Admittedly I haven't done any trial groups in a while, but this content seems more challenging than even Normal level DLC Trials. There just seems so much going on in some of the battles where there's more than a 12-person group can deal with; a Big Boss, a few smaller level foes, multiple things that need to be interrupted or they can one-shot you, as well as other mechanics (cleaning braziers, throwing hot coals at spiders) that take time to do, leaving no time to be able to revive fallen players. Again, more stuff to do than with Normal level DLC Trials.

Having the bar set at that level for this zone seems far too high for regular players to properly enjoy. :'(

I think solo players are screwed, and I seriously doubt we'll see a double GP or anything like that.
Your best bet (and mine too—I'm mostly a solo player myself, with a few exceptions) is to join a group or a party with guild members or something like that, but I definitely wouldn't expect another GP running simultaneously with the one we have now...

Going back to Windrose until you people fix whatever reason the entire player base decided it wasn't worth doing. Once again the ESO hype team is full of hot air and content is rubbish. Utterly sick of getting let down over and over again by ESO.

*And yes, slot Pale Order and you can spend millions of hours of soloing content without dying. But why? There are more fun games to play.

The timing with D4 and a new POE league couldn't be better far as I'm concerned. It's baffling that they would implement group content in this way, and it's not so much the difficulty, moreover the fact that in 2026 they still haven't added tools to properly complete group content. Almost no one will be playing this content in a month. I can guarantee.

I won't speak for others, as this thread has demonstrated that a lot of us are not playing or are not going to play it now. .

Took half a day not a month.

I originally zoned in by myself and a companion and got my butt handed to me quite quickly. Then I decided to make a run for it and actually managed to zig zag my way around and complete the tasks for the quests they gave me. Did die a few more times doing that but then I saw a massive group of players and decided to follow them around and join in with them. It was actually a lot of fun. I managed to complete a few quests and even got some tome points doing that.

It kind of reminds me of doing those wandering zone bosses in the Deadlands when everyone joins in to take him down. It was fun but as someone who is not in a guild, I can understand why some won't enjoy it.

If you chose ruckus you're instanced with other ruckus players and they have the least population

Everyone can play together, regardless which faction. Instances aren't separated by faction, only by population.

It's too difficult (Solo Player)


Have limited amount of play time and cannot wait around for grouping.

Did enter the event but got one shotted all the time.
So, a waste of my time and will not be particpating further.

It seems strange that, at a time when we are looking forward to Challenge Difficulty, which will allow everyone to play the way they want, something which seems so exclusionary has been introduced.
