Agree completely. When I first heard about the Night Market and read the feedback on PTS, I was disappointed because I knew it wouldn't be my cup of tea. But then I thought, "Well, I never do trials, vet content, or PvP because they're not my cup of tea. I just ignore them (and the rewards) and do stuff I enjoy." And that got me over it.

Looking forward to the story content and other stuff (like rumours, favours, etc.) coming soon.

Did the starter quest then started my faction's first quest. LIke others have said that is not appropriate for a solo player so I retreated and left. I won't be back except to reluctantly tag along and try to help if/when my small guild has a scheduled guild meetng and wants to run this content.

Overall, NM is a complete disappointment. I thought the Worms fiasco last year was bad, but this is even worse.

NM is just not enjoyable content at all, so effectively for me there is no new playable content until much later in the year if at all.

Cutting way back on my time in ESO to just enough to keep my trader slots stocked and devoting my play time to WoW or some other games at this point.

An additional feedback regarding rewards:
After completing the Skittering district skirmish one of the rewards was a Legendary Mother Sorrow bow. Just why??? Most people that would go to Night Market would decon it straight away (with a chance of getting some gold mats back). Even giving gold mats would be better than a gold overland piece of gear.

Its a group zone thats difficulty is for Vet Trial Groups, its time gated content that has many cool things for more casual players that Vet Trial Groups will likely not want or need, its a place that id love to explore and enjoy at my own leisure, but I cannot. It is advertised as a group zone, fair, but I think its a little too difficult for most groups and I dont think it gives folk who run Vet Trials anything of use, and I think those who just wanna try and enjoy any story content find it very hard to do so. Id love to see this return as a much more toned down thing, perhaps even as a way for smaller groups to get certain non-bis trial gear, but as it stands right now I dont really know who this is for. The game has sorta cultivated an expectation that a lot of content can be soloable, or at least done with smaller groups of 2-4 outside of trials, but The Night Market shatters the expectation that I think a lot of players have. I think that if this is to be a timed event, then it needs to be far easier. I also think locking the unlocks of the player home behind some difficult to get achievements that you need to do in decently large groups for most players is a bad idea. The Vet Trials community to my understanding (which could be very wrong) is a small portion of the playerbase, and so I dont get why this is like that when its a timed event.

My own personal, entirely selfish desire would be for this to have two different instances, a normal and a vet mode, where the vet mode is a slightly toned down version of what it is now, and the normal mode is accessible for more casual groups of 2-4 players, with maybe blue items for rewards or less favor gained, or both those things.

Or have an option to turn the score off.

Because I really, really don't care about it while playing. It doesn't affect me in any way. It's useless information. Have it buried in some menu when I need it, but exactly no one needs to see this at all times.

I'm seriously baffled why they gave this such an important spot.
But then, the Night Market UI is really weird in general.

It is WAY too confusing. We need to kill what, to gather what, in order to earn what? And there are 4+ different levels of boss? And do I need to gather X before I can do Y? (Like, I have a quest to find lost people. But they're not in the circles. So do I need the fan or the grappling hook or whatever in order to do this quest? I don't know.)

And there are golden pursuits, plus new achievements, plus we're earning trade bars, plus we're earning transmutes, and what counts as which kind of quest, and and and and

ETA: I'm on my third youtube video, just to figure out what to do. And why can't I travel to my fancy new house from within the Night Market?

EETA: BASE GAME SETS as coffer rewards? Really?

The Nightmarket is the Group Content this year. Its not meant to be done solo. A group of 4 is solid already with 6 its probably the best balance, with more its a breeze.
