Came home to find the Night Market empty and 1 group in group finder that promptly wiped and disbanded. It's Day 1 -half the player base should be in there?

Very disappointed as I thought on the first day at least there would be groups.

Only empty instances.

Going back to Windrose until you people fix whatever reason the entire player base decided it wasn't worth doing. Once again the ESO hype team is full of hot air and content is rubbish. Utterly sick of getting let down over and over again by ESO.

*And yes, slot Pale Order and you can spend millions of hours of soloing content without dying. But why? There are more fun games to play.

i dislike this whole thing. my repair bill is climbing just trying to do the first few missions. place a stone get nucked, respawn try to get the the next get nucked again. run the whole of the game in the open world without a group now to do the new shinny thing solo and get wrecked NOT fun. well the screen is getting ready to log me out time to increase my repair bill. dislike dislike dislike and hate this event. maybe in a few days will change my thought but might just leave with a bad taste in my month and not play this event.

And? Was the difficulty level adjusted? eeeeeeeeeeeee nope!

When I read feedback on PTS about how hard Night Market is and so on, I secretly hoped that when ZOS launched Night Market, they would take player feedback into account and Night Market would have two difficulty levels: Normal, where even casual players could have fun, and Hard (or Veteran, or whatever), where players looking for a challenge would also get nice time playing. Or if not that, I figured that at least if it had the same difficulty level as Arc 1, that would be cool too.

This morning before work, I had an hour to spare, so I decided to check out Night Market, and I was completely disappointed. The mob groups are too close together; if you want to spread out the fight a bit and kite the mobs, you immediately aggro another mob pack. The spawn rate is way too fast, and the difficulty is really too high... I get that it’s supposed to be group content, but I still expected it to be “soloable.” I mean, sure, you can fight your way through the mobs slowly, but just a few mistakes and you’re dead, so this isn’t fun from my perspective.
Definitely a big thumbs down from me.

I went in with my PvE tank, who has tanked vet trials and duoed the most recent vet dungeons. I had 2 -3 dps . No one else showed up. The bosses with tons of trash took forever...then they dropped...

This is a set I completed like 10 years ago. What sort of reward is that?

Then 3 of us took on a boss called something like argent exarch molo... something. It took us like an hour. The worst thing is he seems to have a spell, I think "blood rage" that reduced my magicka and stamina to 3k. Yes, 3k, enough for one spell. TG for "Balance" which kept me alive. Presumably you are supposed to have a cleric who can purge you?
Then he had 20 or so wolves that surround me , and I could not get out. I couldn't dodge roll through like normal mobs, was not rooted...was just...hemmed in. I think it was a bug.

After an hour he drops again some old armor set from years ago.

No other players showed up which presumably would have made this faster. The first day of this new event and no players?
The drops are awful. They didn't even come up with new sets? Why?

I tried to find out what else I was supposed to be doing but the whole thing is a garbled mess.

Based on tonight the rewards don't match the difficulty. I have all the pVE /trial sets I need and have had for years. I don't need this to get old sets. Can anyone tell me what else new we will get (aside form the monster sets, only one of which looks useful?)

Okay… so… don’t do Night Market because it isn’t the kind of content you’re interested in… and wait for the new two questlines to drop… oh and the seas of tamriel event… and the new types of quests… and dynamic storms… and literally anything else other than Crimson Veldt and Night Market. I swear, if trials were added to the game now, there would be riots.

Please allow me to weigh in, as one of those whining casuals.

1. I do not begrudge you (super veteran hard mode players) some tough content. You should have that.
2. That being said, this Night Market is marketed as being for every one. Veteran Hard Mode is NOT for every one.
3. Night Market absolutely should be a group content, but scattered groups of casual players don't very well for group content.
4. If you have 11 super maxed mates, then you're set. If you're a casual player, you can't participate because the level is simply too high for 12 casual players. An option for "super max veteran hard mode " would solve a lot, as all us casuals wouldn't interfere with hard moders, and we would still feel like we belong.
5. I truely belive Night Market would be perfect for you guys, if it was just instanced for your group(s), and then some throttled down instance for us peasants.
6. ALL THIS RANTING being said, I think this game lacks a flatter learning curve. Once you get to 50 CP 160, you have to get good, and there's not really a natural progression from there.. Just start "getting gud". And I, for one, don't learn very well from being killed instantly, with a combat review saying "35000 damage! Try avoiding damage from monsters"

Sorry if I whined too much, but I honestly don't mean it as criticism on you.
I would LOVE to be as good as you guys.. It's just really hard to get from mediocre to "Whatever next level is".
We casuals sort of hit a certain level, and can't really progress from there. Because you are right. Having the right build and setup doesn't account for much after level 1000. You need to learn some skills that the game itself, doesnt teach you.

I understand thats a random drop from any mobs; but since most of them are not lootable, will it just plop up by defeating them or do you have to loot something? For example the random favor drops you sometimes get?
