I dont inderstand how I picked the loser faction. Why is there a lose faction? I dont even care about the faction point system, but clearly I picked the bad faction because nobody else is around. Why are the districts so empty for new content?

Somehow managed to make a worse release than writhing wall.
No mounting in the market are,slog and tedious.

This isn't "dungeon" content - this is 24-person raid content. I'm scared to only take 12 into the Trial.
Trying to duo this with my DUNGEON partner and it's grueling.

Also, trying to group with people on different quests, in different factions, can't share quests, it's a mess.

Best scenario - you and your set group of 12 friends are all in the same faction, doing all the same "story" quests. Because you're not going to get them done with randoms.

This is not accurate. Players are not given priority to be instanced with players of the same Faction. There may be fewer players in the Ruckus District right now because folks are prioritizing a different District, but that is not how instancing in the Night Market works. When players enter the main hub and Districts, they join based on when they entered until the zone cap is hit, then a new instance spins up. That's it.

Thank you. I mean no disrespect though but I think instancing numbers need to be double checked as I've been in a few very very dead instances.

The issue is the instance is spread across all 3 districts and the hub. So the game is probably just putting you in an instance where, statistically since Thousand Eyes is dominating right now, all the players in your instance are over there based on happenstance.

Each instance only has 30-something players, so it's not hard to find yourself in an empty one when you're playing a less popular faction.

Just want to say I am not quite sure that was the reason.

I joined Thousand Eyes because I wanted the dye, but I went in three times today and two times it was a pretty much dead zone. One time I saw one other player, the other time I saw like two other players (and it might have been a player and companion, it can be hard for me to tell at times). The third (well it was the second time I tried it) time, there was a group roaming around killing things and yeah, I had fun, because I could tag along and got a few of the quests laying around and got some of them done.

All three instances I was going into the spider district, so maybe everyone else was in the other districts, but chat was dead (it was even dead with the group running around)

Unless I just got unlucky two of the times I tried it and got grouped with different factions.

For me there are four major problems.
1. The areas are partially to empty to play random together and the group finder isn't supporting enough. So you need planned groups if one doesn't want to waist a lot of time, what most players don't want or don't have time for.
2. Even if you manage to build a strong random group the ingame tools for coordinating the group aren't good enough. There are way too many different quests that make the group members long for way different points on the map. Some won't find satisfaction, when the group just doesn't run where they need them too.
3. Some quests are horribly explained and you have to guess how to solve them. In one quest I had a major area marked on the map but the actual quest point was way smaller and not visually marked, one had to run around and find it by luck and just one step into a different direction could make one miss it. Please work on that.
4. There is too much grind. One needs to fight certain bosses for the keys. Me and a friend managed to build a group to fight the silver and the gold bosses, but often didn't get a key but just very underwhelming loot. How long shall we grind until we will be getting all the keys and will be allowed to enter the raid? Raid guilds have certain times they play in. What if only a part of the trial group get the necessary keys? It's already hard enough to maintain raid guilds, because so many long time players that like to play vet content in planned groups left the game already. Please don't make it even harder to get into the new raid.

The biggest issue seems to be grouping is REQUIRED yet quests can't be shared, and with everyone on different quests coordination is hard. The Skittering is much harder (interestingly The Parch is easy).

I'm fine with more difficult content - just not stuff that is vet DLC dungeon or trials level difficulty, with trial sized mobs, that respawn every 30 seconds. Oh, did you go the wrong way? FIGHT EVERYTHING AGAIN!

Easy if you have 2 groups running together, but that's only useful if you are NOT doing story quests! I prefer to do story quests, not just run around killing things. Welp, it's just going to be a pain.

It's not that hard content is bad, it's just that the whole game is being shoehorned into this, and people are upset. I'm upset, and I like hard content. My hands currently hurt as much as they do after a 2-3 hour trial prog. I can't do that every night for 6 weeks.

P.S. Thanks to all the "solos" who dragged multiple mobs on top of me and my partner. We had carefully picked mob sizes we could handle and got tired of "solos" dragging stuff onto us so we die.

Also, why would you ever add quests that require specific locations and activities to something like this? Players can't reliably solo this nightmare and large zerg groups aren't going to reliably deviate from their swarm path to help you complete a daily. It's just... oi vei. Ugh.

Also having respawn location where you have to fight through 3-5 groups just to get back to your group just sucks.

Monsters have about 50% too much CC, and 20% too much damage, other than that, it's pretty good

The player base that actually want something remotely challenging.
