First of all, I would like to say that the IDEA behind this mode is very good — it has potential and is unlike anything I’ve ever seen in the game.

But here are the points I believe are important to raise:

- It is extremely difficult to find a group for this mode. If you are not in a guild and do not follow the crowd into whichever faction they choose, you simply will not play or have fun.

- The quests are either useless, confusing, or both at the same time. It feels like everything was rushed.

- Not unifying quests for groups causes them to scatter, since each player ends up with a different objective.

- The rewards are terrible or require a Herculean amount of effort to obtain. I am not asking for handouts, but I do want the rewards to feel satisfying relative to the effort invested.

- It is frustrating trying to play as a more casual player and being penalized for not having a guild or a dedicated group.

- The respawn time after dying takes too long, and we are often sent to areas far from where we were, making it incredibly difficult to reunite with the group because we have to fight through entire hordes of bloodthirsty monsters just to get back.

Overall, it genuinely concerns me how Zenimax completely ignored the very data THEY themselves revealed on livestream — that an overwhelming percentage of players are not in a guild. We were told things would change, yet ironically they created a mode where being in a guild is practically required. So here we are again with the same Zenimax quality standard we have seen for years: great ideas, terrible execution. They created a mode for a small portion of players while completely forgetting casual players and those who are not in guilds.

Zenimax: Keep it simple. You keep trying to juggle overly ambitious new content, but it is clear you cannot execute it properly. This mode has the same energy as Tales of Tribute, and that is not a compliment. You overcomplicated something simple, and unless major changes are made, this mode will end up exactly like the card game.

As a point of reference, I collected all 30 splinters today in a little over 5 hours--they had dramatically reduced the grind from what it was on PTS. And the relic grind is a one-time affair. Once you're done, you're done, permanently. And the Night Market will be up for nearly two months.

The keys for Gilded and Opulent are consumed on kill and will have to be reacquired each time you want to re-run that encounter. And they are guaranteed drops. Since you already needed to kill the Argent bosses in order to collect the relics, the keys "come naturally" for the first time you access the Gilded bosses and the subsequent Opulent Ordeal. And you really only have to worry about keys when you want to do all that a second time.

needs a better way to group players - otherwise another disappointment for high level casuals

When you are killed in a precinct and not revived by a group member is there any way to revive inside the precinct instead of being sent back to the Starlit Plaza wayshrine? It is very difficult to return to the group when you have to go solo from the entrance to the group's current location. Is there a way to return to the group leader without having to try to run there?

Im very suspicious of those that can solo the night market cos i have done vet group content and this place in on a whole other level. Anyway, without actual proof from posters on these forums it's just heresay. I sense huge disappointment in our community cos so many cant participate and trust me i have seen peeps trying and drop dead.

My suggestion is to please have some different levels of difficilty as with overlands...this will allow more players new and vet to participate and enjoy the night market.
I just got my partner to come back to eso and after trying out the night market he logged out of eso and said ; " what's the point of playing a game that is chaging in this direction? ( where you need to play in large groups). It seems similar to trying to find vet trials group.

@ZOS_Kevin please consider us players that sub to eso and want to be able to participate in all eso content. This is genuinely too hard for many of us but we want to be a part of it and enjoy it, not be locked out of certain content.

At first I was of the "this is super hard, but fun" group. I still think that most of the argents and whatever the other one is called are good. Bigger groups to take them down works pretty well. That being said, I just fought the Hordemother for about 20 people and we were just throwing ourselves in a meat grinder. That wasn't fun at all. Adds coming so fast you can't handle them, but what's worse is them spawning so fast that you die before they appear or you see their attacks. On top of everything else, the Hordemother vanished at 8% and reset herself to 100. Gut punch and not a fun ride

After trying it out for a couple hours, I can safely say that Night Market is not for me. If this is what is supposed to replace dungeons for the year, I feel even more ripped off than I did before. No one who enjoys doing dungeons yearns for dense trash packs and terrible quests with bosses that aren't much more than health sponges. I don't want to say head back to the drawing board, instead you should set the drawing board on fire and start over.

My feedback so far:

There are not enough people in the zones. I am still learning the zones, but yes, not enough people. I dunno if it's real, there are not enough people playing, or that ZOS added a cap to the zones.

If there's a cap, augment the cap please, like a lot.

As a note the repeatable quests are hard to find, I just found them by pure luck. Maybie mark them on the map, so that we can at least find the quest givers.
