I don't know what you are even responding to. It isn't just bad groups that get scattered by siege, if the siegers themselves are good they can push even a good group off the door with just 4 people. I agree it isn't insane for an outnumbered group to punish 12 people, what point are you making? You didn't respond with substance to anything in what I posted, as per usual.

ESO was originally marketed as a PvP game too, Cyrodiil was literally the endgame.
It sure was. Now ZOS is refusing to even try to fix Grey Host, which was an original part of the game from the beginning.
So a few points here.
First, ZOS should fix the PvP they originally designed into the game. They can fix it. It might take some effort or investment they don't want to make, but it can be done. They've done it before. They can do it again. So ZOS stating they're not even going to try fixing their product going forward is a vendor saying they're selling a product they're not going to support. This is obviously a highly self destructive business and public relations decision.
Second, if ZOS can't make their premier PvP work smoothly and reliably as it is now, they're not going to be able to make some other new system work smoothly and reliably either.
And third, if the last three days are any indication, essentially nobody will play vengeance with or without an alternative. The last three nights prime time PC NA has been pop locked for Grey Host and vengeance hasn't even filled one bar of population. Almost nobody likes vengeance.
Any investments into vengeance should be ceased immediately to save resources so ZOS can invest in actually fixing their game as opposed to creating something totally different. I mean, what's happened to all those "THEY'RE WORKING ON IT!" explanations and commitments to the player base?
I feel the same way. They've been telling us for a decade that they're working on fixing Cyrodiil performance. Who could ever forget the "THEY'RE WORKING ON IT" video? Or all the statements directly from ZOS claiming they're working on it. But what have we seen in terms of results? Not much. Maybe it's time they actually started working on GH and giving it an honest effort.

Most "races" have their ancient motif styles, even the reik ppl. But not major "races" like khajiit, redguard and bosmer.

My Entire Friend list, with exception of 2 people, has stopped playing. Many of them did PvP daily.

Most of what ZOS has done since and including U35 has been detrimental to the game. U35 killed the end game PvE community and showed how little ZOS will respond to customer feedback. The 10 year anniversary event was a disaster and the 2025 content was even worse. And vengeance is killing what's left of the PvP community. That leaves only the casual questers who don't sub, rarely buy crowns, and only log on a few times/week if that. ESO can not survive on that.
If everyone at ZOS isn't in crisis mode right now they're even more out of touch than their harshest critics claim they are.
Claiming the population in ESO is just fine is a highly uninformed and biased statement. The statement does not reflect reality.

Let's not even pretend that the ones we have make a lot of sense either - the ancestral Akaviri style came from a zone that... never had much to do with the Akaviri in the first place?
I do wish we'd get the other reworks, particularly if Ancestral Redguard took more after the OG Redguard style that they removed from the game because it was too revealing it didn't look enough like modern t-shirts. However, I do not want them to keep the same stupid Treasure Map lead sourcing. Why they're stuffing more and more into Treasure Maps instead of literally anywhere else is beyond me.
Honestly, they should just allow Treasure Map leads to drop from zone chests as well and then a lot of complaints about the lead sourcing system would go away.

The aggression is justified btw. Why? Because after years virtually nothing has changed with Cyrodiil PvP. I'm not going to keep explaining myself or re-inventing the wheel. If they care, then this will get fixed, if it doesn't, I'm not going back to Cyrodiil anyways. That's it. I mean, hah, there are other things I could harp on. Like how bad and how rude certain factions have been.

For clarity and maybe a little closure on my part (as I'm *trying* to head out for a little vacation soon) I actually went back to Grayhost Cyrodiil the other day. Was there for most of the day actually. Those on the faction I was with were really nice and all, but it was mostly us solos running things there (on that day at least). This was while Vengeance was still up.
Alright so after spending couple hours there, began to notice some patterns. It wasn't all bad ok. But there were a couple things that stood out... very noticeably so.
Lag. The lag was noticeable, yet the game was still playable. All of us had to deal with the lag and occasional drops.
CC Pulls. While normally CC can be frustrating, the pulls were insatiable. I know there's couple sets that cause this, Rush of Agony is one, maybe Dark Convergence is another, maybe more. Remember getting chained from across the room/courtyard frequently. This is something I know alot of people have complained about on here, including myself, but it's really bad. ZOS, I guess I'm not understanding why you continue to allow these 'thugs' to get away with this nonsense.
Alot of Gimmicks and Nonsense. I'm not posting this to vent but I can't help but get absolutely flabbergasted in wild amazement at how quickly any PvP comes to a stop when the Rush of Agony bombers and eventually ball groups come around. One example, no grief, but a good strong example there was a very large tri-faction battle at Ft Arrius and this DC ball group sat there for what seemed to me like well over an hour, 2 hours perhaps, and consistently wiped everyone. They did not die one time. Red got no kills and neither did Gold. PvP just came to a dead stop when they showed up. The kill log looked similar to the Vietnam War Memorial.
A question I have. So, during my time on here, I've had certain people telling me that I'm out of my mind for having an issue with ball groups and bombers, Rush of Agony filth ruining the game for me and the players that I am with. How is what happened on just this particular day alone, how is this ok? How do you look at this situation either as a ZOS Dev, a class rep, a forum poster, or even from a ball group and look and this and say this is normal. There's no counter play; there's nothing anyone can do to stop those guys. Why do you say that I'm not in my right mind for not wanting to have my time wasted.
I've tried for years to get this whole gameplay void fixed. I've done everything I can to bring attention to it. I will be staying with ESO, I'm getting back into PvE among other things in game but not back to Cyrodiil in any serious gameplay capacity until this gets fixed. I'm tired of seeing good people come on here, have a legitimate complaint about what these corrupt thugs are doing, how the Cyrodiil PvP players are getting exploited and just being COMPLETELY IGNORED. I'm sick of it and if ZOS wants to decide to finally care about this then I'll think about going back.
