Night Market: Disconnects
Repeated disconnects in the Night Market, seems particularly bad in Sorrow's Friend and during the SKirmish in Skittering.
Has happened multiple times to myself and friends. All are in different countries, all use different ISPs. It's clearly a server issue.

My honest answer on how to enjoy it? You don't.
Been playing on and off since release. Took longer and longer breaks as the PvP went downhill. Only reason I popped back now was to try out Vengeance again.
ESO PvP is a laughably unbalanced and gate kept by sweats. Live Cyro is a cluster of stupid builds, lag, and ballgroups whose only aim is to farm randoms. It's a cesspit. It's been a disaster for a few years and then subclassing made it even worse.
Battlegrounds are nearly as unbalanced and also ruined when they got rid of 3 teams and reduced it to two. I saw an event that had 3 teams, but dunno if they bringing it back.
Vengence has potential and is the last hope I have, but it has its issues so I'm not hedging my bets. It's a shame. I used to absolutely love Cyro and sieges, but it's just been destroyed over the years from lack of attention and what feels like zero care about balance.

It may be the most successful single piece of content Zos has ever done. It seems to not only have revived the group finder but it’s also created a need for 12 player groups in pve outside of trials. Tanks and healers are not only necessary but mandatory. And seemingly anticipating the new thieves guild content, these builds have become very useful for doing small quests in the market when not in a large group.
This event is as good as the Writhing Wall was bad. I find it incredibly fun and addictive and I’m almost in disbelief of how good it is.

Wait, there's a topic in this thread? I thought by this point it's just people munching on popcorn. But anyway, to answer your very good question, that character is called the emdash, with the "em" standing for the letter M. It's supposed to be a wide dash that, you guessed it, is the width of a (rather fat) letter M. There's also endash, and you can guess what that's supposed to be.
Grammatically, there are specific contexts where you are supposed to use emdash. Because emdash is usually not found on a typewriter (or a modern-day keyboard), the longstanding convention when it's not available is to just use two hypens. Modern word processes such as Microsoft Word will then convert a double-hypen to an emdash. You can also find the emdash (or endash) in Windows Character Map.

I believe a pure Templar isn´t really in a great spot for PvE DPS compared to the other pure classes. Their single target DPS is lacking behind and on top of that their sustain is pretty bad too. Therefore, I think it'd be great if Judgment’s Brand and Bright Harbinger would be buffed a bit next week.
I do realise it's probably out of scope for this PTS cycle, but I'm also wondering if one of those passives could help improve their sustain in the future. Maybe Judgement's Brand could not only increase the damage done of Templar abilities but also reduce their cost or something?

But NM doesn't just cater to one player type. I see social guilds, casual pugs and raid guilds enjoying it equally.
People who play with strict self-imposed restrictions are a minority and cannot expect everything to cater to their tastes. Most casual players might not be interested in progging and guild stuff, but they join groups when it benefits them: to farm dolmens, event coffers, dragons, random normals and now NM.
The difference ,with maybe the exception of dragons and maybe a few normals that have group mechanics, all of those things you just listed are possible to solo completely

Asking ZOS to make an event that will please 100% of players is impossible.
Again, another case of bad design. Short term events should never cater to just one player type. If you are going to design one limited thing for one player type. There should be an equal content in that event time for other player types. They could have easily put the same reward in a pvp zone. In the end it isn't about the content. it's about the fomo rewards. If they just removed rewards entirely. Then no one would do any content

…I barely understand night market itself. Those icons and numbers are hard to understand to me and the description on the side makes it even more confusing, so I'm not sure what do the v<>^ mean. I can intue the 🌪️ are the sand swirlies in the desert tho. Maybe a map key could help.

On the first point, I appreciate the context. I am not sure how far you have progressed the Night Market 2-part main story quest, whether you have fought any of the bosses, explored the 3 precincts/districts, done some side quests, defeated the dungeon and trial bosses.
An analogy would be this:
Chapter 1: Complete Main Story
Chapter 2: Explored the precincts/districts
Chapter 3a: Encountered some bosses
Chapter 3b: Done some Faction Leader quests
Chapter 3c: Done some precinct/district quests
Chapter 4: Defeated the dungeon and trial bosses.
These maps make more sense when one has reached Chapter 3c. If Chapter 1 and Chapter 2 were not yet read, jumping straight into Chapter 3 will be confusing to any reader. My suggestion would be to do and understand the earlier Chapters first, THEN attempt Chapter 3a,b,c. And when you reach a roadblock at Chapter 3c, come back to these maps and see if the information here is of any use to you. If not, ditch it and look elsewhere. The purpose of these maps are to be a guide specifically for Chapter 3c. For basic understanding of the Night Market - that is well taken care of by the plethora of websites and videos that cover the foundation in detail - which are not the focus or intention of these maps.
Please know that this is not written in malice. As tank, I lead groups into the Night Market and always take time to explain basic things to group members, checking how much they have done, what Achievements are missing, and answer burning questions. Querying via the Chapter analogy given above. If they have not done any side quests, I make no mention of it until asked. Discussion on map markers will be meaningless and a waste of their time. I assist with bosses and we march on.
I did incorporate your suggestion for a map key, which is shown in this updated side panel. I will have this in all 3 maps. It is an improvement. Thank you for this.

BfB why you have a 35m ranged spamable with no cost.
Dragonfire why you have a 35m ranged spamable that already applies major breach.
You just have to enhance the Status effects it applies. Winters Embrace, Ardent and Stormcalling are the lines you want to run. Slap on Nuntak Plagebreak/Winterborn/Disdain
That seems like subclassing is the problem, not the mythic.
