You're right. 90% of people play on the epic games launcher right?? It's used as trend data and is ABSOLUTELY relevant. You can assume a relative percentage of players on the ESO launcher, epic, console, etc. are likely doing that as well. Pair this subjectively with how many people in your guild are logged on at any given time. What about cyro population? What about dungeon finder queue times? Let's use our critical thinking here.

This would be admitting a mistake, something zos will never do.
Remember the dead silence after U35 broke pve for over a year? Now they're blabbing faster, but its still good old "just wait and trust".

For one thing, bugs.

For months I and a few others have had mouse acceleration issues with no fix.

I have no interest in playing the game when I can't even look around without the camera flipping out on me.

Well you also have to remember the majority of people early on started out on the TESO client, but steam grew in popularity. Which we obviously dont have numbers on the pop difference or split.

Also the video you linked is taken place in IC underground in a bugged spot, this doesn't back your point at all, these players are cyro players they just went to IC because it has no population to do the tournament lol

It's pretty telling that you're telling me to go find examples and I really can't find anything recent post-sibclassing that looks exciting. Mostly zerg baiting and fighting inexperienced players.

In short, when devs disabled skill-based matchmaking like their vocal hardcore crowd called for, casual players reported more frustration and quitting. Then even the top percentile drains out. As the lower skilled players quit, the pool consists of only high skill players, however within that group their relative percentiles drop. So if you were a top 10th player, but the bottom rung all quit, you slide down to 50th best, as an example. Then even these people quit as the population shrinks. So the study proves that matching people of similar skill is important for sustained gameplay.

Sure, Greyhost can be where the high skilled players compete with each other. The hardcore crowd is perfectly happy to stay within that bracket for the rest of the games life. Just don't be surprised when it collapses because there's no room for lower skilled players anymore.

Any serious PvE uses logs/CMX for metrics. Idk what you think serious high level PvP play is supposed to look like without those, and without commentary to explain decisions.

Canceled due to low population in pvp since subclassing & vengeance test on Xbox EU, the disappointing season pass, animation rework and all those other newly introduced bugs. Trading is also less rewarding these days.

And of course as an arcanist pvp main I am not happy about ZOS reworking the Arcanist after all other classes. Arcanist took loads of hits with the nerfs during the past 2 years.

Also can't be bothered starting all over again on a new server after all the money and time I dumped into ESO.

Server change token could have prevented this.

I also uninstalled the game after I canceled subscription.

ZOS only pays attention to money so if you're not happy with the game the best thing that you can do is cancel your sub since that gets their attention when it happens en masse.

I literally just did this for my Steam account.

1. Log in on PC with your Steam account credentials.

2. Unlink Steam.

3. Buy the base game again - or any version of the game.

4. Play.
