If they're going to make Empower no longer usable in IC, they might as well un-nerf the destro staff passives and give lightning staves back their original theme.
My exact thought when I read that empower doesn't work in imperial city anymore. "But people getting 1-shot!" was my only argument against lightning aoe on 1st and 2nd tick.

Nothing can be worse than 80% of the kit being useless. We're regulated to a handful of skills of which you can get half of through subclassing. I'll take upcoming nerfs with open arms to have a better designed class from top to bottom.
This here exactly (which was also one of the main factors behind my original thread back in U36 that proposed a full rework to sorcs entire kit).
I'd love to have DKs current dilemma of wanting to slot (or at the bare minimum tinker around with) every single skill/morph of the class kit rather than just having 1 ability always used, a couple of others that are fill in's for when the build isn't getting a better option from elsewhere and the rest being completely unusable.
I chose Sorcerer originally because it was the lightning class, but right now I have streak and that's really all I have left in sorcs kit that still feels somewhat like that original design/feeling.
There's a lot of abilities with shock damage tacked on, but none of them have that same feeling to them (most just feel like recolored/retextured fireballs, looks at overload, shocking soul, shock clench, etc.).
My biggest hope for the class refresh is if ZOS can somehow include that chain lightning ability from infinite archive into sorcs kit, that is one of the most satisfying and coolest lightning effects I have seen in this game in a very, very long time (it's also very muted visually as well so it's not mega flashy like things like overloads heavy attacks, etc. while still retaining that feeling of lightning jumping across the battlefield).
The chain lightning from the Infinite Archive is indeed a very satisfying effect. I love whenever it goes off. Though ironically it's also a useless thing like most Sorc shock skills. It deals very low damage and becomes redundant after a few rounds. But that is beside the point. We need these visuals.

@Prionyx On a serious note though NB is easily the second/third best pure class. It had one shot potential prior to class masteries, now it has even more crit damage.
They increased the NBs crit damage cap, now even on all impen you will be getting hit like you aren’t wearing any crit resistance
If NB is one of the best in class, then why do we not see it in PvP?
Have you gotten lost in time travel? The bomb assassin from before u46, and the animal assassin from the past year, have been the most popular PVP combinations. If you're really into PVP, how could you miss it?

-Tether skills that can break because of a small pebble on the floor
-Skills that have ridiculous positioning requirements to be able to do 100% of their effects
-A Class Mechanic that is extremely unreliable in mobile fights
Now add to the list:

I think 100% for empower is a baseline to at least keep it roughly where it is now. I think HA builds need more love in general including some combination of buffing empower more, buffing voidmantle, making HA take less time so you can get better rotations, increasing the duration on most empower buffs, increasing the base damage of HA, restoring trifocus or other things. Especially as other builds keep goung higher and higher, HA builds staying in place is not a great place to be.
But I'm glad they're at least doing something, and I know some of the things I mentioned wouldn't be in scope for this patch anyway.

Re: U50 Feedback Thread for Tamriel Tomes New Features and QoL changes
This is the official feedback thread for the U50 PTS-specific Tamriel Tome. Specific feedback that the team is looking for includes the following:
- Were you able to select between the two PTS Tomes? PTS U49 and PTS U50 will be added to all PTS accounts.
- Do the new Weekly Challenges function correctly?
- Were you able to reroll Weekly Challenges for Gold once you were out of Challenge Reroll currency?
- When the PTS Season end, did the Tome autospend your points down to a 2000 Tome Point cap?
- Was the end of Season pop-up clear?
- Any other feedback?
I have a challenge that tells me to collect nowhere keys. I have no clue what this item is or how to obtain it.
