Yes absolutely! Somebody suggested a 10 second cooldown, no. Just let them pop right back up within like 2 seconds. No reason for a delay just for the sake of a delay.

As another dual platform player I have to say this was the most terrible take I've had the privilege to read. I've been on PC since launch, and created an Xbox account to play with friends I made from Stadia when that went down. As others have said there's good and bad on both platforms but these broad sweeping generalizations about "console peasants" are just that.

Was going to anyway. Since gear (monster sets) are locked behind a faction, that overrides everything else.
I am no longer interested in anything a faction does. My choices will follow the sets.
Bleed+damage buff is the first faction I join.
Frost damage+brittle is the second.
And when I have those both, the extra buffs faction will the the third.
I don't know nor care what the faction names are. To me, they are now called: bleed faction, frost faction and buff faction.
If the choice didn't lock me out of gear sets, I might actually pay attention to the lore of those factions. But now the lore is irrelevant.

I hope this is the right place to talk about skill styles, it felt like the best place to potentially do so of the options on the list. I will say I appreciate the "no weapon override" version of molten and letting players choose, that's awesome to see. I also appreciate trying to give players green skill styles to replace the loss of the old poison morphs but I have two complaints about them overall.
1. While I like the green fire, part of what I liked about the original Noxious Breath was a cool orange/green gradient.

I am not necessarily asking for this to be changed currently (completely green fire is cool and there is a need for it as a skill style imo), but I would like an offering of the orange/green gradient style in the future (as well as possible other gradients of orange/blue orange/purple or even color combos like blue/purple) for this skill style. It has a lot of potential and one of my dragonknights in character uses flames of various colors in dance and combat and I would like a way to represent that better.
2. I am disappointed that Hearthfire was not considered for a legacy skill style and I would like to see that changed/added. Ash Cloud was a very cool skill that was a big part of my dk healer's identity. I had hoped that with talks of legacy skills for DK we would maybe see a black Hearthfire skill style that could at least give us a little bit of the old look for Ash Cloud and I would very much like for it to be considered in the future if it's not in the scope of this pts.
They need to change this asap and/or give us the real Noxious Breath back. Everything being flame damage is so boring and i feel like pure DK builds is even more boring. I dont even really enjoy Dragonknights or the game much after update 49. Some changes need to be reverted back like Hearthfire getting 1 damage morph back, poison claw, noxious breath and poison passives. Also loosing the 5% damage done from seething fury Lash is a bad change especially for subclass DK. Theres definitely a favoritism going on for Pyromancer only fans and Pure Builds instead of a balance. An even better option would be the introduction to a 3rd skill morph on all skills in ESO

They increased the NBs crit damage cap, now even on all impen you will be getting hit like you aren’t wearing any crit resistance

You will get to the cap quite easily actually. NB was reaching 100% crit damage easily pre subclassing, reaching the new cap will be easy.

Warden is getting 20% crit damage buff
Arcanist has 20% crit damage buff
Mora’s scribe thesis 12% etc
Monomyth 20%
Possible 18% crit damage buff from champion points
Minor force 10% crit damage
There are way more sources of crit damage I haven’t even included

Also nobody runs backstabber but just for the sake of it I'll give it a pass. So 159% which is nowhere near crit cap since there is a crit resist in pvp. Why would you include sets if nobody runs crit damage builds? And even if they do it's pointless, there are sets that give damage done% or regular starts higher than crit dmg, they are obviously better
What "2 tap play styles" are you talking about? NB doesn't have any and didn't have since around 2019. Please explain your words or stop trying to get class nerfed simply becasue you don't like it. Even 25% crit dmg and 2500 execute wpd wouldn't help NB to reach DK or sorc, but you somehow say that laughable 5% crit damage will. Animal+restoring+assassination is nowhere near new DK, but they have more crit dmg and OP skills unlike trash shadow and siphoning skill lines, how would 5% crit help?
I don’t know if you have amnesia but we all remember how broken pure NB was before subclassing and this was like 2 years ago not 2019.
You are acting like crit resistance didn’t exist back then, it did, and pure NB was still 2 tapping people, now it can get even more crit damage and 1000 more w/p damage
The fact that you are comparing it to the new DK says a lot. New DK is strong as it should. New warden will be strong as well and so on.
These are empty words. Prove them. You just want NB to get nerfed because you don't like the class. Period. Explain HOW NB WAS "2 tapping" people. How? With ulti and spammable? Every other class have this but also delayed burst on top of that, yet somehow you say specifically NB was "2 tapping". No it wasn't since 2019, if someone doesn't dodge bow after incap that's a MASSIVE skill issue, you have more than 1.5s to react, it's too much of a time and you can easily dodge it even with 500+ ping
And why wouldn't I compare to DK if class mastery is made to make other classes viable against reworked classes until they get a rework. If you think that 2500wpd and 25% will put NB closer to DK but above other classes(it will not) then buff other classess too, at this point there is just 1 class in PVP and it's just not good

Because subclassing that’s why. Why do you think every broken subclass build incorporates NB? Because it’s weakest? How can a class with 1 shot potential prior to class masteries be the weakest?
Damage on the NB is fine. My problem with a NB is that it’s squishy
The masteries are supposed to help the pure classes compete with subclassed meta junk in both pve and pvp, and nightblade's masteries are so heavily nerfed in pvp that they do not. Why does a mastery exist which is only 20% effective vs players?
When are we going to hit Font of Power or Wildfire Embers with -80% effect while battle spirit is active?
You all need to remember that the masteries are there to make it worthwhile for a NB to want to keep shadow, and for a non-soulcleaver or non-healer NB, siphoning.

Have you gotten lost in time travel? The bomb assassin from before u46, and the animal assassin from the past year, have been the most popular PVP combinations. If you're really into PVP, how could you miss it?
Insults are not necessary. I enjoy PvP, just not in this game. My NB gets killed by DK and templars and now Arcanist. I am not seeing NB in PvP when I go in. If what you are saying is that people are mixing classes to beat classes, then that is not a NB at all. He was saying pure class. You cannot have a pure class if you are mixing the class with other skills.
I want to remind you that before U46, the Techies Assassin and ganking Assassin builds were consistently popular and powerful. After U46, through its subclasses, the Nightblade skill tree became top in both PvP and PvE.
This change only slightly balances Nightblade's dominance. Furthermore, NB is a class that hasn't been reworked yet, so comparing it to New-Dragon Knight isn't objective.
They were never powerful. They were popular because NB is a popular archetype, is fun to play, non dlc class and has access to cloak which many new players like, but problems I described here applied to NB long before subclassing
You just don't like NB and want NB to get nerfed without any argumentation, read my original message and tell me how I'm wrong
It's funny how I always write massive posts about how weak NB's burst is, people don't even read it, write "what are you talking about, it's good" without EVER trying to justify their words. I know why, because it's impossible to justify, you just want NB to get nerfed because you don't like this class, even tho it's by far weakest class atm

The crit cap increase DOESN'T affect the PVP calculations at all. Please remember that 125% crit damage cap is only valid when the target has ZERO crit resistances. Even if the target has base character crit resistances (1320), this translates to 20%. So in reality, you can go beyond the cap to 125% + 20% = 145% and still be at the cap against such player. Most players, however, would target to ~2000 crit resistance, or roughly 30% crit mitigation. So even if you go for 125% + 30% = 155% crit damage WITHOUT new nightblade class mastery, you would still effectively be at cap with 125% crit damage. For the passive to be effective against an enemy with 2000 crit resistances, you would need to aim for 155% + new 35% bonus, so 190% crit damage increase. Good luck with that on a pure Nightblade solo build. That's just ridiculous, some people argue with wrong numbers without knowing the game rules, and their opinion is taken into account when making such important balance changes, just wow.

The NB was good way back in the first year. It has been nerfed and nerfed again since that first year. You can add qualifiers if it pleases you but I maintain, I am not seeing NB dominate PvP. I am not seeing it.

I am happy to see that so many begin to see (or already see) why these Sorc masteries are as significant as they are. The class has too many downsides and problems over what subclassing or other classes offer.
The HP scaling of Blood Magic should be changed certainly, but the rest is either fine as it is, if not a little harsh. I still think Font of Power should have a 1500 stat scaling again instead of 1750, just like originally intended.
