Contemplating streaming the opening of over 1600 crown crates, 37 different varieties, often 50+ of each type of crown crate (except for the preview crates, and maybe around 20 or so of the Ouroboros crates). Does this sound appealing, or would you prefer to be insulted by a Dunmer for 2 hours?

    I'd rather watch grass grow. I don't watch streamers anyway, let alone them opening boxes. Why would I watch someone opening crates? Unless they're giving the rewards away, why would I care what another player/streamer gets?

    What a waste of time. All this IMO of course. To each his/her own.

    I personally watched crate opening videos only if there was a part where a player does showcase of mount(s) after he gets them. Otherwise, I have no interest in observing someone else's crates, and I would prefer to open all those crates myself without audience :blush: I really miss good old years when I could open hundreds of them thanks to gifting at sane gold/crown rate :'(

    But I've seen many people leave comments that they like to watch someone else opening crown crates, all for different reasons. So if you have that many crates and plan to open them, there is no reason not to record it :)

    Please, add ability to use all new idle animations on every mount!

    Please, fix the bugged lights! They ruin visuals of environment and mounts.

    If I only had 1600 crates, I would really want to savor the process of opening them. I would definitely make sure to reveal one card at a time, and say a little prayer for good loot before each reveal (don't forget to sing your "amens").

    Also, I strongly recommend keeping a spreadsheet of your loot. I know it doesn't seem necessary for only 1600 crates, but you'll probably open more eventually and then you'll be glad you were keeping good records from the beginning.

    What do you need 1600 crates for? You can get everything in a crate season from only 200-300 crates because you get a massive amount of gems from all the duplicates starting around 100 crates.

    Or is this spread out across all the different crate types? Just open them. No reason to hoard them unless you like clutter.

    Nice idea - definitely worth doing since there are bound to be plenty of apex / radiant mounts coming out of it!

    Although the Crown Crate Tracker addon's website no longer accepts data, the addon itself is still great for tracking rewards ;)

    Yeah, a 5000 crown prize draw seems like a good audience puller. Thanks for the idea!

    I never buy crates so I only ever open the free ones from login rewards and even then I don't like going through all the hassle of watching the 'dramatic' reveal animation. I know you can push a button to reveal them all together, but it still takes longer than normal containers. I'd prefer it to just be another box in your inventory you can open by double clicking.

    It's difficult to imagine something less exciting in ESO than watching someone else opening crates.

    Wrong audience here. If you have a bunch of friends or fans, they'd probably love to watch you moan about RNG or celebrate getting good loot while you open crates. However, most of us here don't know you, so why would we?

    My suggestion? If you already stream regularly on platforms like Twitch or YouTube, or hang out frequently with friends on Discord, go ahead and stream the crate opening to your audience.

    So long as your not neglecting your real life financial situation, it's your income, spend it how you like.
