Rework three-piece sets

I believe I've mentioned this in various threads but I would really like for three-piece sets in the game like Willpower and Agility to be reworked to give 1-piece bonuses.
Willpower:
(2 items) Adds 1752 Maximum Magicka
(3 items) Adds 206 Weapon and Spell Damage

For example, Willpower can be set up like this:

(1 item) Adds 872 magicka
(2 items) Adds 872 magicka
(3 items) Adds 206 Weapon and Spell Damage

That way, wearing one piece of willpower jewelry won't be completely wasted when swapping to a different bar. It would open up more build options.

iirc, the willpower and agilty sets already give more damage stats at three pieces than most, if not all, 5 piece sets grant at three pieces. Adding more damage stats to the three-piece set is likely going to far. Considering we already have pieces we can equip to give stats at one piece this does not seem to be needed.

What do you mean by adding? I didn't add anything to the set. I divided up the 2 piece bonus.

Did you fully read the original post? The author was pretty clear there was no buffing of the sets in the proposal.

i think it makes sense, and would give more options for filler gear

the current 1 pc filler gear (that is not a monster set) would be something like druids braid or trainee, which both give max hp as the 1pc bonus

i have my main house (grand topal hideaway) listed in the housing tours, it has multiple target dummies, scribing altar, and grandmaster stations (in progress being filled out), as well as almost every antiquity furnishing on display to preview them

feel free to stop by and use the facilities

Agree 100% with OP. This would make 3-piece sets a viable part of builds again. As-is, they're useless.

    Definitely agree.

The 3-piece sets feel really bad to use and this would go a long way toward remedying that.

I would also like to see a complete itemization of the 3-piece sets as well, so expanding them beyond just jewels and armor (which seems arbitrary and regressive).

What do you mean by adding? I didn't add anything to the set. I divided up the 2 piece bonus.

Ok, I did not notice the numbers were split between the first and second pieces of jewelry.

Still not needed the reasoning provided essentially apply to every set in the game and it is clear that the current design is deliberate.

Just because the design is deliberate doesn't mean that it's good design.

I fully agree. However, all that has been noted is someone would like something to be different which does not make it a bad design. The solid fact that this has never been a hotbed issue and that it works well demonstrates this change is not needed as I already noted.

I think this is a good idea. Especially with the new Mythic announced: https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/631237/is-this-a-joke

HOWEVER, I find it kind of interesting that players are advocating for 1 piece set bonuses only because they want 1 piece filler buffs, not because they actually want to make Willpower and Agility sets themselves better... If players just want more filler, the easier solution would be for ZOS to create new 1 piece sets rather than changing existing ones.

i think splitting it 1/3 on 1 piece, 2/3 on the 2nd piece would be the best way to go about it.
still pushes to use at least 2 pieces for the chunky stats but doesn't make it dead weight when a weapon of the set is not on the active bar

I could live with that too. The main thing is we make it possible to get use out of just one piece without making it too stat dense.

If something hold you from Markyn ring abusing it doesn't me that it's bad
