We just completed a mass action on a few hundred accounts that were involved in regular coordinated cross-alliance AP farming. Specifically, swapping resources and keeps to farm high amounts of AP in a short period of time. Not only does this behavior harm our PvP gameplay and community, but it is also a Terms of Service violation. Accounts found taking part in cross-alliance AP farming may be subject to disciplinary actions.
Here’s the break-down of the accounts we took action on and where they were:Those involved have received a three-day suspension at minimum and removal of all AP from their accounts. If you were involved, you have received an email with an official warning.
- PC/Mac – Europe: 170 accounts
- PlayStation 4 – Europe: 42 accounts
- PlayStation 4 – North America: 39 accounts
- Xbox One – Europe: 50 accounts
- Xbox One – North America: 61 accounts
Thank you to everyone who reported this exploit. Please help us keep ESO’s PvP content fun, competitive, and fair for all.
Well done to the developers! We need more bans, and some without the ban go)

SERIOUS????????????
Your friends didn't report you and you dare to open your mouth here?
OKEY
Who is this? oh it's you! and you didn't get ban! N1 job, @ZOS_JessicaFolsom
All it would have taken to stop it was to take down the server on monday back in the beginning of march, do a hotfix to reduce the ap gain on taking outposts and that would have been it. Everyone would have gotten the message and would have gone back to normal pvp
To do action like this now, makes all time spent on this game seem like a waste of time tbh
Just take it like a man instead of trying to justify it.
Pathetic.
So, where is the guy who threatened ZOS with a lawsuit?

Yes, it would have been nice, but I guarantee people won't be so quick to exploit the next time an opportunity arises. Plus, these people now have an extra ToS violation on their account - some were banned, and others are one step closer to it.
Either way it's a step in the right direction
i can understand but.. there are people here (not me) who plaied a lot for their ranks, a PvP ranks give u a title (maybe someone is proud of his pvp rank), new Dyes (yes, i like dye my armor u.u), they can buy stuff for their house... well, i can understand for a lot of people these things are useless... but maybe someone else likes that.
@Blobsky here you go buddy
Heart Blob used flipping to finish off his grand overlord title.
My entire time at bleakers was spent killing the flippers, organising multiple raids to stop the events and reporting players - feel free to actually check my livestream some time to see the previous broadcasts including these videos, I live stream 90% of my online playtime

Well ZOS did set a precedent for three years that action would not be taken against those who did.boosters acting like they did nothing wrong lol

Still I think they dealt with it right with temp bans and removal of AP. I wish the achievements/ranks could be undone but I guess that's harder.
Either way this is finally something which will start to curb the exploiting culture as it's an active showing that they're taking such actions.

Nice thing about playing AP police is that you get to operate within tick range while feeling good about it...

after giving it some thought i would be absolutely ok with losing all the ap that i gained in that wasted week of my life on the eu haderus campain. I mean i took a week off work, that is really all i lost
But it would only be fair if all the ap that was earned by any player on that campain during that week would be taken away as well. As everyone was participating in the roleplay flipping, in or around the keep. Afk or not , pretenting to be ap police or not
If the pvp community really cares about justice than this would be ok for everyone involved
Also, if people made 15 million ap in that week on that campain, listed on leaderboards or not, and they have spent /laundered the ap on motives, loot boxes etc, than they should have a negative 15 million ap number on that char so all future ap will be counted towards paying off the ap debt
Only this way it would be fair. I consider cheating being afk, i was not afk, i was not even flipping the flags myself, was just playing on the campain that gave the best return on invested time
So to single out 170 players were i know at least 1500 gained from it is not justice for all and nothing to applaud

That was it for today, but we're watching.
When I heard that, I kept asking in chat a good dozen of time during the last 45mins of the event : "Will there be any measure to counter the incoming outposts flipping that is going to happen on empty campaigns?" Got no answer from anybody.
