✭✭✭✭✭TBH; I was nervous at first that a lot of players would have been booted and population of Cyrodiil would drop at first. Turns out I didn't have much to worry about personally being on PC NA but I am glad they are doing this. People need to know they should play as intended, otherwise; game designers change their systems or eliminate some due to kill trading or win trading. This is why we can't have nice things.
Hopefully the majority were not permabans and they get back in the fight as intended they probably were most of the time anyway with lessons learned0 -

It's a big improvement, and I'll drink to it: thanks ZOS, it's much appreciated.
As many others have said, however, ranks should be rolled back, and the exploiters who bought motifs or spent their APs on overland armour boxes to sell them basically walk away scot-free... and rich.

Which leaves me, an honest player thay did not play for 14 months (i did play everyday for almost two years since launch) and did not know what was normal in pvp at the time of joining the keep flipping and did not spent hardly any of the ap i earned during the double ap week as one of the few victims of this disciplinary action. I spent many many months pvp ing for hours every evening to earn the ap in 2015 and did not spent it. 9 million ap it was.
So now to read that will be taken away is quite shocking. Maybe it is time for another 14 month break...

If this was their first offense, they got a three-day suspension and lose all their AP as a warning. If they do it again, it'll be a ban. Some who had previous TOS violations were permanently banned.

Sure he did get his title while trying to kill the flippers most of the time and trying to organize party to make it stop. Watched his stream those couple of days and what he got was basically the couple last ranks. Where many people went tens of ranks. Also he immediately left the whole thing once he hit rank 49. Well, it means nothing was done. ✭Wow, i cannot believe this, i also got suspended. I came back to the game especially because i read on the forums there was a double ap event going on.
I had taken a 14 month break from the game and took the whole week off to pvp as much as i could, i slept only 4 hours a day and not for 1 second did i use macro's and sh*t like many many afk others did so they would not be disconnected.
Also, i read all ap will be taken off my account, which is really unfair because i had 9 million ap on my 2 chars from 14 months ago which took me many months of playing every evening to collect.
Just because i did not spend it on motives or pvp vendor boxes i will be punished and robbed dry while others (in my eyes the real offenders that started this keep flipping) just spent all the ap and get away with it
This is not a way to welcome returning players, i mean surely you can take a large amount of the ap that was earned at an inflated rate, but not all the ap, i mean i played actively many many hours and also months before hand to earn it
@ZOS_GinaBruno please look a bit more into each individual case, it is only 170 people that are suspended and it took you weeks to take action.
I would have prefered it if you had taken down the servers on the second day so i could have continued with my life, work, sleep etc.

@ZOS_JessicaFolsom i honestly believed zos upped the amount of ap because of the stress test week that was going on and did not care about the ap gains of individual players.
As the aim of the week seemed to be the stress test and it worked because players were mass gathering on bleakers/nikel and fighting for hours on end. Their was a hour long queue on the campain, that is how many people on eu participated.
It was confusing to say the least that the stresstest was done , and allowing the flipping without a hotfix made it look like it was on purpose to draw players into the action.
