Update 12 Breaking News

    17th monster helm....new mystery dungeon on its way? Or possibly....one of the IC dungeons gets continued....that woman who got the elder scroll in wgt gets a better offer from Bal? Larynth decides to take up a new role as warden?

    It's not the 17th helm, they are making 17 more helmets to be added to the normal dungeons that are getting their veteran versions this patch

    Yes, but there are currently only 16 normal dungeons.
    5 in each alliance plus one in Coldharbor.
    They keep saying 17 which leads us to believe one of the current normal dungeons without a veteran version might get a sequel.

    When they say Duels "outside" of cyrodiil does that mean that cyrodill will also support duels or will they only be available outside.

    If its the latter, then all duels will use the champion system. Just saying. Unless you can duel in Azuras, the champion system will be a huge factor in dueling.

    What about those weapon ultimates miss Bruno? I got to know more !!

    The first reason is it would be far to easy to game the system. Usually why there is no rewards to dueling.

    Seconds I dont know, but I assume as with most casual friendly games you wont actually be killing anyone. You will spare them when they are almost dead, fans will cheer, and then everyone will walk away.

    If you kill an enemy player in Cyrodiil then that is part of the Alliance war... hence alliance points. If anyone could gain AP from duels in any part of Tamriel, then what is to stop people from taking turns killing each other to gain AP? Even if you are duelling players from opposing factions, if it's not in Cyrodiil then it's not helping with the Alliance war.

    For me I think I will be MOSTLY duelling players from my own faction (friends & guild members) because we want to improve with the builds we intend to play in the Alliance war.

    Duelling can be done ANYWHERE in the overworld, yes that includes the middle of Mournhold. There is more info (some of it very juicy, I promise) being revealed at PAX by Wheeler. :). Duelling includes all Cyrodiil restrictions i.e. you still gain the battle spirit debuff when duelling.

    Some sets have been moved, such as Viper set drops in Fungal Grotto instead.

    Lastly (that I can think of) U12 comes to PTS in the first or second week of September for an October release.

    Any more questions feel free to ask, will try to remember it all!
    Will those 30 sets be able to drop in impen or are they removed from their.I know with update 12 impen will be added to dungeons sets so am not sure about open world sets.

    So if duelling is in pve area does it mean that the damage and healing nerfs in cyrodil wont apply?

    Or is pve being nerfed to compensate?

    So basically the pvpers/duelers are going to be able to spam aoe spells everywhere, slow the game to a slideshow in the middle of Mournhold, and grief the crap out of players who want to go the bank, crafting stations, enchanter, alchemist, dye station and the merchant kiosks. Any info about how they are going to keep this from happening?

    Any more information about the crafting aspect? How the materials are going to work?

    When you start a duel battle spirt will be activated on your character.No PVe isn't being nerfed. Of they did Nerf damage it would actually make it difficult instead of being so easy as it is now.

    Well atlest update 12 look alot better then update 11 are just hope we get some content as well in update 12 that is more then the 2 dungeon we got in update 11 ^^ and by new content i dont mean "reuse, revamp, update" dungeons

    No extra content in update12? u got a whopping 16 new dungeons and a whole zone revamped (craglorn) and u get dueling in pve zones. Plus all the basegamechanges with one tamriel being the best thing that happened since launch of this game. Still i would like a complete update without any extra content at all just total focus on fixing all the bugs, lagg, exploits out there. Hope they do that in update13.

    Im not sure about that, ofc some swill move their homebase in pve to other areas where most of their friends reside, but i will stay in Rawlakha.

    Veteran Vaults of Madness - how crazily and unbelievably does it sound? I've been waiting for this for ages and my dreams will eventually come true... I think that vWGT will have to give the crown to vVoM as my the most favourite dungeon in the game :smile:

    Not necessarily. Apparently duelling will activate Battle Spirit, which doesn't usually apply in PvE, so it's possible they have also implemented some way to disable CP passives too.

    Good lord, relax. You can say this literally about any little pet feature than someone might want. They are doing wonderful work with this game.

    Um, weapon ultimates are not a litle pet feature, this is something that SHOULD have been in the game since the get go. The game has been knee jerk balanced because of the lack of weapon ultimates since launch. A little pet feature would be horse racing. Not weapon ultimates.

    The fact that there is a delay in ap gain one the same person

    I have every character level 50, both a magicka and stamina version.

    Sounds a lot like VoM only with more hit points.

    They may completely surprise me, but with as many dungeons as they are doing, i doubt the dungeons will be any different. Just more hps, more damage and labeld vet.

    So i guess if VoM is your favorite vVoM should be the same.

    Is it true they will do vet modes of older dungeons without adding a new story? LAME ZOS! Due the Stockholm syndrome however I'm happy even if we get lame vet modes than nothing at all.
