Should ZoS take a brake after DB update?

No its not that bad keep them coming!
I'm now waiting for Dark Brotherhood to release. And more excitedly, I'm waiting rather impatiently for housing, barber shops, PvP battlegrounds, dueling, and Vvardenfall.

As the only major bug/issue I have personally experienced in recent times is lag in Cyrodiil, and I believe that won't be a worry any longer (to me) when battlegrounds are released, you can see where I would support *more* content over *more focus on issues*.

Sometimes I think I'm the only person who doesn't really have any issues when he plays this game.

I really don't have many issues when playing the game. It is a lot of work trying to keep it that way, though.

    1. Vomit DKs are going to make me rebuild my main DK into a magicka build because I don't want to run around spitting on people. I can deal with shifting ability power, but when the form of an ability changes so significantly, adapting is much different. As near as I can tell, the only reason to do this is to make DKs more "interesting". This not an "interesting" change for me, but it does diminish my interest in DKs. The bottom line: Breathing fire = cool. Spitting poison = ewww.
    2. Scaled potency runes and the whole debacle with farming runestones will be something that I have to adapt to. Based on all the reasons they have given for making this change, I can only assume they are running amok. The best reason I can see for doing this is that they had developers with nothing to work on. Seriously, it looks like make-work stuff, to me.
    3. Ultimately, I think that the unlimited Crafting Bag of Holding is fail. Not in the overall concept of an ESO Plus Crafting Bag, but in how the concept is implemented. I am expecting "side effects" from this item.

All said, I expect Dark Brotherhood will be more of an issue for me than any previous content released for the game.

This whole thread is referring to pvp always be laggy in primtime.

ZOS has openly said they cant fix the servers.

The game is perfect most of the time.

All you whiners are out of luck until ZOS makes new pvp servers and shut these down.

    I'm guessing next year sometime.

So stop asking to push back player housing, duels, console chat and new dungeons.

    These are separate issues.

Pretty sure ZOS has openly said they are working to address lag and it is a top priority...

Now, I doubt they can deliver on this promise. I expect they will either give up or "declare victory", which will be the same thing.

NO! This is the worst idea imaginable. This is an MMO, There Will Be Bugs. Regular content is what separates ESO from the chaff.

The fact that this poll is almost evenly split is frankly shocking to me and highlights how many in our community have unreasonable expectations when it comes to game balance and bug fixes...

My experience with bugs and game shutdown has been a lot better since I switched to console when consoles released. Just before that, I had to wipe the game and didn't want to work to install all my addons back, knowing I was going to be playing consoles more (didn't know I would quit PC completely, but I eventually did).

It was a massive change in reliable gameplay when I didn't have any addons. I miss some features, but I recognize that (just like in the single player games), addons could play havoc on the game itself.

I understand switching from DK because you don't like the poison effect. From a fire breather to a poison spewer ... that can be a massive change. As a nightblade, I understood the practical reason behind the change, but never considered the actual effect being poison in animation.

I like the crafting bag, even if I would have implemented it differently myself. I have been looking for a significant reason to subscribe to plus, and this is just barely enough for me (we'll see if it stays that way after a month or so).

I am an enchanter, but I'm not wrapped one way or another on the change to runes. I guess I noticed how difficult it was to reliable attain potency runes, but it wasn't a gamechanger for me. And the upcoming changes don't seem to be much to affect me, either.
Ruze Aulus. Mayor of Dhalmora. Archer, hunter, assassin. Nightblade.
Gral. Mountain Terror. Barbarian, marauder, murderer. Nightblade.
Na'Djin. Knight-Blade. Knight, vanguard, defender. Nightblade.

    XBOX NA
Ruze is a veteran of the PC Beta, lived through the year one drought, survived the buy-to-play conversion, and has stepped foot in the hells known as Craglorn. He mained a nightlbade when nightblades weren't good, and has never worn a robe. He converted from PC during the console betas, and hasn't regretted it a moment since.

He'd rank ESO:TU (in it's current state) a 4.8 out of 5, loving the game almost entirely.

This is an multiplayer game. I should be able to log in, join a dungeon, join a battleground, queue for a dolmen or world boss or delve, teleport in, play for 20 minutes, and not worry about getting kicked, failing to join, having perfect voice coms, or being unable to complete content because someone's lagging behind. Group Finder and matchmaking is broken. Take a note from Destiny and build a system that allows from drop-in/drop-out functionality and quick play.

    @lordrichter

Right, fixing it is their top priority they say. They admitted that Azuras Star had huge issues some they can not fix when they where working on, it got "fixed" by being turned into a dead server via no-CP.

A new server became pop capped at prime time and had all the same problems. (maybe better)

Now pvp is more imbalanced than ever, I used to take all 4 of my character between campaigns when one ended. Now at 150k a piece to transfer I wont spend that AP to transfer around campaigns.

No. Additional time won't magically make ZOS' staff more capable designers/developers/programmers. What is broken will still be broken and we will just get less content updates. I'd rather get regular updates and those updates be broken then get irregular updates with those updates still being broken... which is what would happen.
What ESO really needs is an Auction Horse.
    That's right... Horse.

    O.o holding a break?

These people are not working for free, they work for money, and we pay them. They deliver 4/5 of what's promised, and I still play the game, but if they push it too much then I will quit like so many others, and return with new DLC's only.
