Ha, now they dc in middle of last boss in vet dungeon. Error 201 too.
Here $15, goat mount please. Not gambling or paying 45 : lol :
20% base speed for high ping players.
Streak moves you faster then speed cap.
They should of made 4v4v4v4 instead of 8v8.

Forgot to turn on my VPN yesterday and experienced significant ping spikes standing in the Galen bank trying to remove gear. Turned on my VPN and everything seemed fine.

Do you think it's because with the VPN on, the server can't tell that you are not active ESO+ subscriber? :D

While I'm sure Azure calcs might be some of the cause, it doesn't explain me standing alone in my not even close to full house with 500 ping and then suddenly I'm booted.

I wish it was that easy lol. Having these issues while I was a subscriber actually made me cancel my sub.

It sounds funny that Azure caused a serious drop in server performance.

I don't know anyone who's laughing though. Everyone I know is done with anything ZOS if they don't fix this disconnecting issue.

Yup. Same here. Multi guilds I am in have fallen apart because of members who are having this issue. We can't run raids anymore because we spend more time waiting for people to get back in the game than actually playing.

At least Thrones And Liberty launches today.

    @ZOS_Kevin any update?

Well that was painful. Decided to do a few surveys today. I hit Coldharbour, Glenumbra and the Telvanni Peninsula. I spent most of my time standing there because the game did not recognize I had hit "E". The E greyed out on the node, then nothing. The only way I could release the key press from the node was to throw a spell or do something with my weapons.

Communication goes a long way. When the communication stops, that usually means someone is done with the issue, fixed or not.

Going into this game blind. I don't know much aside from a few videos. Shoot me a pm don't want to derail this convo. Really hoping we can get an update soon though. I still have weekly raids (but they got cut to 1 time a week down from 4 now because of these issues that still haven't been resolved or hardly addressed). @ZOS_Kevin save us.

Not quite. Just done with zos mmos. zos single players, like skyrim and ghostwire, will still be hugely popular.

Players reporting issues today are from console or PC?
Tomorrow consoles will have server maintenance but PC got it yesterday - I hoped it would get fixed that way... Am I going to still see constant disconnections after tomorrow downtime?
Any PC player insight would be appreciated...

Signed in for a daily rewards, and these few minutes were the worst I've seen even recently.

I'm on PC EU. The ping was red in 999+, then 400, then 200 when my normal ping should be 80-100.
And I was just standing in one spot doing nothing. It's not even prime time for EU now...
Just getting worse and worse. So sad.
Playing is postponed until some major fix to performance.

Just take a break. It sounds like most of you are having issues every single time you log in which is completely ruining your experience. Maybe it's time to just take a break from the game. I have alot of the same issues listed in this thread. But I mainly PvP so none of this is new. I usually just take breaks and play other stuff when it gets too frustrating.

This is the way. But I know there are A LOT of people who think the issue is on their side (I was one of those for many months until finding this thread) so at this point I think most of us are still being vocal here so we can help those that aren't on the forums.

With that being said - any updates @ZOS_Kevin?

This thread started on May 7th. So we're coming up on 5 months of a major annoyance that LITERALLY everyone playing the game is experiencing. Lag, disconnects, rubber-banding: these are kind of a big deal for an online game, aren't they? At least, I would have thought so.

Since patch 9.3.9 on May 5th, we've had 8 more patches, including a hotfix and an update. Still, the connectivity and latency problems persist.

Since then, we've had Explorer's, Zenithar's, Whitestrake's, Undaunted, and West Weald events. Thanks?

I'm doing the bare minimum to get some rewards in the event -- doing WW dailies on one toon out of 10 -- and then logging out. I'm avoiding random dungeons and trials because I know at least one person is going to DC in the process. Sure, you can say that people can just log back in, but I'm tired of twiddling my thumbs, waiting on the timeout so they can. It's not FUN, and isn't that supposed to be the point of a video game?

How does senior management at ZOS not make this the top priority? Continuing to not fix this is making Microsoft, Bethesda, and ZOS all look bad, like they have to keep pumping the content to keep the lights on, like if they divert to fix game-breaking bugs, they're going to go out of business. It's getting really old.

Right now, PC NA GH has two bars of each faction.

In PVE zones I was getting the usual 290-300 ping.

Ported into Cyrodiil - 800-999+ constantly.
    2-3 second skill delays.

    Unplayable.

Not to diminish the importance for those who do suffer the problems, but it's simply not the case that everyone is suffering them, far from it. That's probably why it's so difficult for ZOS to track it down, they may be unable to recreate it at their end. It seems to be a combination of where you play from (i.e. how you route your connection to the servers) and what content you do (i.e. PvP - especially Cyrodiil - and competitive PvE). Some say it is beginning to affect overland content but I've never experienced that myself.

Im genuinely curious if Senior Leadership has even been briefed on this issue. It's fairly common for mid level leaders to silo this kind of stuff because they are afraid on the impact it can have on them. I'm not speculating that this is the case here - just saying this is very common in studios for this kind of info to never go past mid level people.

It very well could be coming from the top down as a 'cost cutting' measure - really can go both ways here no way to know for sure.

Even if, by some miracle, you're not being impacted personally by an issue that has spawned one of the largest complaint threads I've ever seen on this site, if someone is playing dungeons, trials, battlegrounds, IC, or Cyro, they're almost guaranteed to be playing with people who ARE being affected, and so they, too, are being affected, albeit indirectly.

And another thing, as I think about it... I've been a full-stack developer for 30 years. When people have a problem with software I wrote not doing what I think it should be doing, I stop what I'm doing, and I fix it. You can say this problem is difficult. That's fine. It almost certainly is. But 1) it started at a known time, and you can start from there. And 2) ZOS absolutely has the resources to recreate any scenario they want or need in order to test patches to produce a fix. It's been FIVE MONTHS. If it were a priority, they would have fixed it by now. It speaks volumes as to the state of a game that barely registers on lists of MMO's by player count, and where I want to be spending my money.

Yup. 100% With each day that goes by with no real update, or an update that they don't have an update, I'm just like what is the point. Most of my friends are moving to T&L because there is no lag there and we can actually play together. I'm sure ZoS will get what they want - this thread to fizzle out and not really have to do anything about it (like PvP).

XBOX EU - After today's maintenance I finally logged in at first try and been able to remain in game without disconnections for a couple of hours. To be fair I just did housing and trading, so nothing intense, and I still got worried during a long loading screen to my house, but at the moment it seems better for me. I'll see in the coming days.
Btw still no fix on consoles' broken new features, but that's a whole other thread.
