hey i'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt that this is a joke but can we not start doing this? bumping the permaglow thread has already became a meme around here as-is but throwing shade at other unaffected players over a game design grievance is not going to convince anyone let alone the devs as you're just coming off as spiteful. not sure what this is exactly accomplishing.Elvenheart wrote: »Or, maybe what ZOS should do is pick the most used skill of EVERY class and give it a permanent red glow that only the player can see too and call it a feature instead of a bug. Now that I think of it, this may be the best solution to pass on to the powers that be @.ZOS_Kevin and I apologize if this is coming across as angry and bitter, but it’s just been so long 😫

Zero people want to take that away. If only computers could be programmed to turn things on or off.LatentBuzzard wrote: »Other customers are happy with the glow.

@ZOS_Kevin as always has been great doing what he can. Just a simple “We’ve heard your concerns and we aren’t ignoring them and we are actively working on a possible solution but it’s going to take awhile longer and we don’t have an ETA” would be better than this dead silence we have now (again, I don’t mean from @ZOS_Kevin because I believe he’s told us everything he can).

Every time they say no, we're going to give the feedback that they are losing more money and engagement from us, because we're no longer interested in playing our Nightblades or buying cosmetics for them (which means some players are leaving entirely). I'm certain that trend would reverse if they allowed players to opt out of the permanent glow.DenverRalphy wrote: »Albeit he instead said that they've heard you, they're aware, and there are no plans to change it as it's working as intended.
StihlReign wrote: »Been discussed and noted in this thread - This is not a bug, it's working as intended and ZOS has a policy to never change art once released (also posted in this thread).
They have that policy until they don't.
As an example the Shadow Rider Senche Mount did not release with the eyes glowing/glaring through the back of the skull, then after a patch suddenly they did and they have been as such since.
The only policy is that they do as they see fit because they can, the rest is all spin.

@ZOS_JessicaFolsomHey @Kyip! Just wanted let you know we see this question, and we're very aware of the thread. When the feedback about the Grim Focus change first surfaced, we did raise it with the dev team. In the thread, Kevin did pass along the info that we got from the dev team, that this change was intended and not a bug. That said, we've raised it again to see what's possible. Reading back through our responses in the original thread, there may also be an opportunity to elaborate on why we made the change - we're checking with dev on that. (As an aside, many of us are about to be out for Thanksgiving holiday break, so any additional info we can share will likely be the week of Dec. 2.)
While I'll maintain that the reasoning alone will be wholly insufficient as said earlier, December 2 was a month ago. Any update?

ZOS, please, please, please listen to this man.

Tied for "dumbest part" is the fact that it indicates absolutely nothing useful to the user. It's just there, borking up your color palette and failing to match your weapon's actual shape, all the time. I'm personally in the "only glow when 5 stacks are reached" camp, because then it would be DOING SOMETHING USEFUL.I think the dumbest part is that only the user can see the glow. So the people who want to keep it have an effect that no one else can see.
The permanent glow really makes me want to never play my Nightblade. It’s that bad.
Why was it changed in the first place? It never used to have a permanent glow.
